I highly recommend Southland Integrated Services! My mother has been going here for some time and she loves it here! She has a case manager name Caroline, she follows up with me serval times a month. I also can text her whenever I have questions or concerns. The NP that my mom is seeing is very tentative to my mother's care. Do not come here if you want to be treated with respect. Their quality of service has declined over the past few years, and I only continue to go here because the office refills my birth control prescriptions. My first bad encounter happened with one of the nurses. After interacting with her multiple times and being gaslit on what I should do when I had stomach problems, I had to make a request for me to not see her specifically. Even after the receptionists put that note in my file, they disregard my file and continue to book my appointments and calls with her. Despite my multiple reminders of the note that should have been in my file, I still get placed to see her. Either the receptionists failed to make note of this at all or they neglected to read any of the notes placed in my file. I personally do not find this to be a hard request to follow, considering that I was fine seeing anyone else but her. Overall, my issues are with the front desk. I don't know who is in charge of the hiring process, but for the past two years, the office has hired employees that have been extremely rude and unprofessional. Whenever I would get my test results back (which I can see for myself) and the tests come out perfectly fine, they still make me show up to the office to discuss my results, despite the fact that there have been times where my nurses or doctors have told me my results over the phone. It just seems extremely inefficient for both me and the nurses/doctors to come in person just for them to tell me that I'm fine. Make your office procedures consistent because the front desk seems clueless whenever they speak to me regarding anything about test results. Moreover, I called into the office today regarding my birth control refill because I was informed by my nurse in person that as long as I get my blood test done, she will refill it. However, there was no refill and I had informed the front desk during my initial call that I was on my last pack of birth control. To my dismay, some girl at the front desk told me that the doctors said I should just use condoms if I don't get my birth control on time. Are you kidding me? Birth control is not used solely for sexual activity--it's also used to regulate periods, subside acne, etc. Any person who uses birth control knows that it must be used consistently or else we risk our hormones being not regulated. What are condoms going to do to help me if I gain weight back or get acne again? After informing the front desk that I was concerned with my hormones and not sexual activity, she said she will pass the message along then HUNG UP ON ME when I didn't even finish what I had to say. I don't know if she had a bad day, but during the call, I informed her that I was confused and that I was not upset with her because I knew she was just telling me what the doctors told her to say (I also did not raise my voice during the call--quite literally, I just wanted a simple follow up by returning the office's call). Where do the receptionists go off by hanging up on patients like that? It was extremely professional and I was taken aback because what did I do to deserve this treatment? Some people working front desk are distasteful. Have some decorum. (On a side note, one of the men working front desk is really nice. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for his coworkers). read more

I hope I can give them 0 star. This is a really bad service place. They want me to see doctor but it was really difficult to get an appointment. I have been here for 5 years. I made an appointment at 10:30am but arrived at the place at 10:14 am. A girl at the front desk said it would be at 10:00am not 10:30am. She was completely unhelpful and had to run in to ask someone inside but what she wanted was not to help me get an appointment. She just wanted to show me the proof that the office texted me to remind an appointment yesterday and the appointment is reminded to be at 10am. Even though, I didn't receive any message or call to remind. And then she said she could reschedule in 2 weeks. If you really need a doctor's appointment, don't come to this office! read more

One of the most unorganized clinics I have ever visited. I had an appointment at 10am and was expecting to be roomed promptly, especially since I had scheduled plans after. The front desk was extremely helpful. However, I was roomed by a short medical assistant that was super unfriendly and could barely even speak English. She just stared at me and gave me an attitude like she didn't even want to be there. She rushed me into the room and wouldn't let me finish my sentences. She kept running in and out of the room to tag team another staff, which is very unprofessional. Then, I met my provider who took THIRTY minutes after I was roomed to come into the room. She barely spoke to me and brushed off my concerns. Later, after leaving the room, I saw the Nurse practitioners and medical assistants gossiping and laughing about some patient and their concerns. Very disappointing place. I was recommended through my girlfriend because of her acupuncture visits but never will come back due to slow service and rude staff. Seems very cliquey and ignorant to discuss about patients out in public. Sounds like what people in middle school would do. They act like they care but only care about ripping you off through mediocre procedures that aren't even the slightest effective. Some staff look like they don't even know what they're doing. What a joke. I was late to my next appointment due to this terribly slow service. Avoid this place at all costs if you care about your health. read more

The nurse practitioner is so nice here. I called in for a tele-visit appointment & I got one within the hour. Though I had to play phone tag w them for 10 mins to get one. She talked to me via FaceTime, got all of symptoms, offered referrals & precautionary medication. She told me to stop by today to send out samples for lab testing but it'll be a quick in-n-out. I'm glad. I think it'll go this route from now on. No waiting in the office, quick & painless. I went into the office to do the samples for lab testing... apparently they marked me as a no-show bc they made an appointment for me to come in. They really have a communication problem here. They didnt call me to tell me I missed my so-called appointment or even tell me that I had an appointment at that time. Sigh. At least I got my prescriptions without a problem. read more

Nga Do, NP is my mom physician. I initially chose this clinic for because of Dr. Thuy Anh Nguyen but found out that other doctors are as also as good. Nga Do is beyond what we could expect from a regular family doctor. I have taken my mom to many Dr but no one has provided such exceptional quality of care. Most doctors would not take more than 15 mins each visit and always seem to rush you out as soon as possible. Nga Do has always been patient with my mom and sincerely care for her health and well being. My mom is so fortunate to be under the care of Nga Do and I can't thank her enough. Please keep up the good work! P/S: Dont underestimate NP. They are just as good as MD/DO. I would definitely recommend Nga Do to all my friends and family. read more

Never even got a chance to visit my dentist Cindy Ngo who just relocated here. The staff (talked to two people) answering the phones were incapable of answering even the most basic of questions in English about if I had the right office for her and if she still took my insurance. In fact when they answered the phone it was in a foreign language. I finally had to ask in sentences of no more than 4 words before I could get my questions answered. If you are going to service the local area someone there needs to be able to communicate with them. Sorry Dr. Ngo, I tried to follow you, now I am just going to stick with your previous office as I cannot see myself dealing with this every time I call this office. read more

This is the most unorganized and unprofessional medical office I have ever been to. I just switched medical groups and was assigned here for my son. I called to schedule an appointment and asked for the latest appointment available. I was scheduled for a Thursday at 6pm. I got a call from the office the day of the appointment and was told that was too late for the doctor to see a new patient so I rescheduled for the following Monday at 450. As a new patient we had to be there 20-30 min before the appointment for paperwork (which is normal). We arrived the exact allotted time and was given the paperwork. After I filled the first packet out and was on the second, the lady came up to me and said that the first packet I was given was wrong and I had to redo it. I started to fill the new form out and was asked to give them my sons birth certificate, which I did not have nor was asked to bring during any phone call. I have never had to bring a birth certificate to any new doctor my son needed to see. The lady said since I don't have the birth certificate we cannot be seen today since it was already coming to 5:00pm. By the time I went home and brought the birth certificate back, it would be too late for the doctor again. It is safe to say I will be calling my insurance to be reassigned to another office. Ive been here for a good 3 years now? They've been my primary care provider after switching out of "Bolsa Nightmare." The doctors are all very well trained and compassionate about whatever conditions you come in with. Would recommend 10/10. Only downside is they are an "outsourcing" facility, so they can't fix most of your problems on site. They are also kind of small, so it would probably be better if you make an appointment first :) read more

I picked this clinic because it provides transportation for my parents if I am ever at work or busy caring for my children. I didn't expect much, but the quality of care exceeds my expectation. My parents have many chronic diseases that require more than 10 medications throughout the days. NP Kelsey was the first provider that they saw, she spent a good 45 minutes with each of them to collect all the medical history, colonoscopy, Pap smear, mammogram, vaccination, etc. I have to admit that I did not know enough about my parents' health until we saw Kelsey on that day. The lab she ordered for them covered all preventive screening and chronic diseases. The reason I know this was due to the lab follow up appointment with NP Phuong. He explained all the lab values that Kelsey ordered, what they mean and what my parents need to do to maintain quality of life. At first, I was worried about seeing different providers, but appointment with Kelsey and Phuong demonstrated the continuation in care that my parents received under their care. I strongly recommend this healthcare center. I will schedule my parents for their dental care too. I hope it will be as good. read more

Not sure about the medical office but the dental office here is a scam. Being a new patient and all, they first told me that I needed deep cleaning which to me isn't the case for I've been going to other dentists prior to switching over to this office. But anyway, I agreed to it and only to find out that this deep cleaning job is divided into four different sessions. Yes I had to come back a total of 4 times to complete my deep cleaning and each time they numbed a quarter of my mouth for the job... Being a 3rd year dental student, I know a thing or two about the practice so I confronted the dental hygienist (who performed the deep cleaning task) about why the 4 different sessions (which I already know the answer that is they wanted to charge the medi-cal 4 different times for the same task) to which she replied that a person cannot endure numbing the whole mouth at once (lol who is she kidding,!!) ok fine,,, I then returned for the next appointment for regular cleaning and again,,this hygienist while cleaning my teeth, she purposely drilled thru the enamel of one of my molars so that they can charge me for a cavity down the line, very calculated right,,! (I was still awake and I knew what's being done to my teeth, it's not like I was going under for the procedure),,, I'm 34 years old and I have never had a cavity in my life and sure enough, my suspicion was confirmed,, I now have my very first cavity to that same molar that I was experiencing the drilling (which I refuse to go back to this office for a filling). So to sum up, these doctors are out to milk your money and it's palpable that patient care and integrity are not their top priority. I wonder what would it be like if the ADA sent their undercover to confirm such false practice. Being a dentist alone generates a more than enough income for an individual ; however cheating the patients with such dishonesty is straight up a scam. So unless you want someone to destroy your teeth while having you paid for it, then go right ahead. read more

This place is the best! It has everything under the sun. Primary care, dental care and women's health. I see NP Lana Nguyen and she's amazing. Very thorough, smart, and kind. I highly recommended her. There's a wellness workshop every Thursday of the month. Topics are interesting- stress, acupressure and etc. Front desk and scheduling needs work though since they sometimes messes up appointment. But overall I give the place 5 stars. read more

I am absolutely appalled at the service here. The Medical side has been nothing but great. But the Dental side, my god... never again. I had fillings done here and every time it has taken more than a week to heal. Not to mention my most recent filling shifted and/or broke off, which left me in extreme pain.. ok I get it, things happen, let me just go and get it redone, simple. Well the second time I got it fixed and refilled, I was getting more pressure sensitivity and temperature sensitivity that was leaving my tooth aching. So I schedule an appointment with a different doctor, the only male dentist there and he in fact turned me away because he was wanted to leave early for Memorial Day weekend. He gave me the excuse that since I was coming back with a filling from a different doctor, he said he wanted the same doctor to work on it and turned me away. I took off work and rushed to this appointment to be here. But yet you couldn't tell me that over the phone? Nice. Patients obviously aren't a priority here and are rushed through like numbers with mediocre care, IF ANY. On top of it the doctor that previously did my filling is only available on Thursdays and is booked up for the week. Did I mention my MediCal runs out at the end of the month? I stated my case to the front desk and was told pretty much, sorry there is nothing that can be done. Thanks VNCOC Dental for messing up my tooth, I can't even eat on one side of my mouth. This is absolutely poor, to the highest degree. Glad you can put a veteran out like that. read more

Ok, as a nursing student or in any health profession, it is required to have your vaccinations up to date, shots, physical examinations, and etc done. I literally had to have almost everything updated and renewed which was basically an entire packet full of paperwork requirements. I have never been a patient here before, as I simply called in for an appointment and they were able to take me in the same day within an hour! Quite honestly it exceeded my immediate judgment and expectations as a new patient. It doesn't look modern or up to date space and has a really old school Vietnamese vibe. Nonetheless, the receptionist gave me paperwork to fill it that was very quick. I then got to be seen by a really sweet medical assistant (forgot her name) and she thoroughly addressed my questions in both English and my broken Vietnamese lol. After she was finished with simple questions, I was seen by a case manager I believe? Which I felt was awesome and very caring/personable. I didn't even know they offered life care, mental care, psychologists, and a case manager if needed. I thought that was so different than any doctor or office I have ever been to that actually asks their patients how they are REALLY doing, both physically and mentally. After the gentleman left, I had the blessing to be taken care of and seen by Vivian, one of the NPs there. Off the bat she was so SWEET! She understood my struggles and experience as a nursing student and was super encouraging. Not only that but, for what I was there for, she also addressed many of my other concerns aside from the actual reason I was there. She didn't make me feel rushed like most Doctors or NPs do, but felt she actually cared for my well-being. I thought my thick paperwork of requirements needed for school would take a few months to complete but she smiled and reassured that she could handle my case and get me up to date within a month! Way before my clinical date which is great! In and out with this appointment literally took an hour or even less! I was seen 5 min after my appointment time. I have my next appointment in two days already and honestly I feel very comfortable and happy as a new patient. Thank you for your awesome service! read more

This review is from the multiple dental services my family and I have received. Prices are cheap and staff is honest. They never tell you that you need something done unless it is necessary, which is why I always recommend my family and friends to this place. Do not expect a fancy Americanized dental office when you walk in. This office is no frills but gets business done. The only downside is that they are very busy and it may be difficult to get a close appointment, so for emergencies you may want to look elsewhere. However, once you get an appointment, the wait is not very long. Teeth cleaning only costs me around $25 which is the cheapest I have ever found. read more
