I tore out the baseboards, discarded the carpet, and then reality sunk in... as deeply as his urine had sunk into our walls and subfloor. The smell was 1,000x worse when exposed to the air, and not responding to enzyme spray. Time to call a pro. Jody and his team at Pet Odor Removal Service are serious pros. We got lucky and they were able to come to our condo the same day to give an estimate and started working immediately. They came back the next morning and worked for hours in a room with no HVAC air flow on a 90 degree day, going up and down our stairs all day long. They finished the work that same day and it's a brand new closet. They removed and replaced 4 feet of drywall, and the concrete subfloor. They cleaned the closet track and sliding glass doors. They even helped remove the coax cable to nowhere that the previous owners left just hanging out of the wall. I'm left with an ammonia odor-free room, great advice on what to do next with flooring and protecting the wall in the future, and some tips on how to fix an unrelated broken doorframe. On May 20, 2020 my house had water leakage. Water was all over our bathroom, next bedroom, living room, and kitchen. I called a plumber and got introduce to Procore Restoration Services - Gerardo Arias, Steven Arias and his team. The team restorations that anybody can count on. From the day of my house issues to the end they represented me even up to now. They did not stop representing me and fight for my rights as an insured to Automobile Club of Southern California (AAA). AAA gave us hard time in solving and paying my restoration team. The Procore Restoration Services are teams that not only have excellent workmanship, knowledgeable, helpful, and understandable. I build up friendship with them. Anytime I called and asked questions they are always there even days and night. They quickly respond anytime you needed them. I am comfortable working with them that I even gave them power of attorney especially when I was under surgery recuperation that my insurance AAA don't have. The Procore Restoration Services found were able to identify wet damage spots in my house. They were able to answer back professionally all of my home insurances investigations. They are the team that you can count on and highly recommendable. They truly went above and beyond and I can't tell them how much I appreciate all the help to me. All of you did a great job, were very thorough, and were very timely about the work performed. On March 2, 2021 my house upstairs bathroom ptrap leaked and messed up or damaged my ceiling. I want to give Gerardo Arias and his entire team at ProCore Restoration for the outstanding work they did on my home recently. I had no idea the extensive damage water caused in my home. Mr. Arias from ProCore Restoration explained the dangers and processes in detail but in a way I could understand. Without ProCore's assistance, my home would have been damaged more extensively not to mention the danger to the health of my family. The level of professionalism is 2nd to none from Mr. Arias and his team at ProCore Restoration; even though I was displaced from my home because of the damage and subsequent repairs, it was well taken care for. Mr. Arias was pro-active giving me constant updates; he definitely had my best interest (and sanity) in mind throughout the entire process. All our belongings were packed neatly and put back in a professional manner; the house was left spotless by the team at ProCore Restoration. Amazing experience with the Pro Core team! From the very beginning, Gerardo was honest, knowledgeable, and patient. He explained the possibilities of mold, potential risks, and remediation process. He also took the time to educate us about financing and how insurance might apply since we weren't sure how our policy would cover the damage. First I want to thank Gerardo Arias, from the moment he walked in he assessed our situation right away. He informed me of what needed to be done in our kitchen and bathroom, it seemed very overwhelming and I was a bit nervous and apprehensive about the whole restoration process. Thus review is long over due, .... i greatly apologize and wanted to be sure to recognize what a great company this is. I don't normally write reviews but the level of service I experienced made me feel the need. We had ProCore Restoration our to look at surface mold issues in our downstairs almost dungeon like room... the technician was so helpful, he explained that it's temperature + dust + to flat wall paint that is causing the issue, and recommended repainting with a semi gloss or eggshell to help the surface not be so pourous... we have a flipped house and I was even shocked when we moved in that they decided to paint in flat (I guess they don't have 4 kids ) .... anyways the solution was so awesome, when I imagined at least need to dig in the wall a little... what a great company that cares about the customer in not only cost but inconvenience... thank you so much ProCore Restoration! read more

The ProCore Restoration Team was outstanding. When you have a leak or water damage you want it cleaned up as soon as possible. I had a leak in my master bedroom wall. ProCore showed up immediately after calling them and got to work. Geraldo was very informative with the options we had and what work needed to be done. He was also very helpful in walking me through the insurance process before I even called and made a claim. Geraldo and Steven were very pleasant to work with. They are knowledgeable, very professional and meticulous in carrying out the remediation work at my home. They took time to explain their work process. They built the containments with such care - they used painter's blue tape beneath the strong yellow tape to protect the paint on ceilings and walls, so that the need to touch up paint after the removal of containment was minimum. Through out the cleanup process, which involved cutting drywalls, there was no dust in the house outside of containments. I highly recommend ProCore. While I was out my laundry room flooded and caused water damage to multiple rooms in my home. I'm so happy with my choice to call ProCore. First of all ProCore is a smaller company who takes great pride in their quality of work. Gerardo, the owner of the company personally did the work at my house. Gerardo was very respectful of my home. Honestly, the cleanest contractor that I have ever used. His cuts in my walls were all straight/professional. The tools he used to perform his work are first class. He uses a saw that hooks up to a HEPA Filtered vacuum to eliminate drywall dust from scattering throughout the home. We had black mold in our walls in several places due to a structural defect in our home. Gerardo worked tirelessly and within just a few days had removed all the contaminants. He helped guide us through the process of remediation and gave multiple professional referrals to help expedite our process of remediation and construction. The service we received from ProCore Restoration was outstanding. We had just bought our first home and had water damage occur. We really weren't sure what would be covered by warranty/insurance. We had water damage in two of our bathrooms and part of our master bedroom. From start to finish Gerardo was so easy to work with. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I was given the timeframe of 10-12p for someone to arrive to start the process. Jason arrived at 11a. He quickly began to set up and pre-treat. He indicated that all windows should be open for air ventilation to help with the drying. I told him that my husband and I had to run errands and he was OK with us leaving. We just needed to remit payment before and he will just close up after he's done. He took my card info and did his work. When we came back, all was done. Quick and efficient. I viewed the unit when it was occupied by the previous tenants - understandably, it was a mess because they were packing, so I figured (as one would) that after they moved out and it was properly cleaned, it would be move-in ready by my move date. That assumption was my mistake. When I got the keys, I was shocked at the condition. It was not professionally cleaned (despite claims otherwise - it was insufficient), overall not move-in ready, and a dump (not maintained). There was mold and mushrooms growing and the smell was strong. I was so upset I wanted to cancel the lease. [**Note to renters: do not sign the lease until after you've seen the unit EMPTY. It's a red flag when landlord (1) does not show you the empty unit move-in ready and (2) wants you to move in immediately after someone moves out - it's insufficient time for maintenance and cleaning & you don't get to see the true condition**] Alex was quick to schedule the assessment and start the remediation process. He was thorough and top-notch in communicating with the landlord to resolve the issue. I'm very thankful for his detailed work because he discovered the source of the problem and tracked the mold down in every nook and cranny. It turned out the source was from the unit above and the mold was not only where I could see it but inside the wall and on the opposite side of the wall into the hallway. Multiple sections of different walls had to be cut. I'm grateful for this amount of investigative and meticulous work. I realized the importance of quality workmanship because (1) water damage is not just where you can see the damage and (2) it doesn't end with repair itself because you must find the source and fix it so it does not happen again. The result of his work instilled my confidence back in this condo. Due to this condo being in such poor condition, I later found more mold in a new area. Thankfully, it was not water damage but surface mold. Alex was so kind to come back and walk me through determining the extent of it (there's a difference in how far it goes into the wall). He walked me through resolving that, as well. He was educational and a wealth of information - he taught me what products to use to clean & how. He was reluctant about releasing any information regarding what he actually found. He walked around with a flash light looking at items as he came to the conclusion that any and all mold that was found in my apartment was from myself. He said the results I got from another inspection agency was inaccurate and that it only picked up mold because of the mold that was ON my belongings from an "in-use leak" that he found. But my question was where did the mold come from to begin with ? Was it not the reason he and a plumber was here to begin with, mm. The leak in the bathroom wall maybe? He went on saying in a smart comment "well you need to clean your windows it's in your contract" again stating that the mold had come from me not cleaning which is not the case. He recommended throwing away or cleaning all my belongings that had this "substance" on them because it would spread but said he couldn't tell me what to do, just suggest it which I believe was a cover up to get rid of any evidence OF mold in the unit. I had to repeatedly ask if he had found mold and after several attempts he finally admitted to finding mold the very first day he came into the unit however i was not notified until my own testing was done. He even asked me if i had questions pertaining to the results i obtained from another certified company but not his which amazes me because he had no reports to show me. I believe Alex works for the contractors (management) as he stated in previous reviews that didn't seem to peek his interest and is not at all concerned about the tenants safety and/or finding the cause just blame tenants. So I'm sure I'll get some threatening review telling me to remove this as he did with others but im speaking my truth based on interactions and experience with his service. I personally would NOT recommend, not ever you're better off doing it yourself Edit : Clearly Alex's LIFE is based off responding to everyone's Yelp review because that's all he seems to do aside from actually doing his job. Instead he places the blame on tenants to appease management because that's who he seems to work for! Seeing as you dont have the address how can you recall any of the findings? You can't speak on a plumber not finding anything because he did which is why he was there to begin with, the whole pipe burst SMART GUY ! Also you would want to be a little more professional when it comes to trying to call ppl slow because I never used AI although you should. We finally go to the office and the girl was so rude, watching Netflix on her phone and talking to some worker while we're waiting to pay our bill. They make to hard to literally talk to someone.
