The lady who gave me my 1st cat eye manicure had a horrible attitude. The file was used and dirty and when I asked her about it, she was annoyed and got a new one. Then, she proceeded to paint my nails when they were snagged. When I told her, she explained it away like it was going to be okay. Then, I asked her to paint all the way down to my cuticle and she got mad and said it would pull it like hair that was stuck. The pedicure lady was fine, but she kept insisting on a tip....very unprofessional. I also have a very painful ingrown toenail from my big toe. Here is a pic of my chipped nail on the one that I asked her to file (after 3 days) and then my hands after a week. I bought a special gentle file to handle the snag/chip. But $100 is highway robbery for a cheap cat eye mani & polish pedi. The place is filthy and unsanitary. Never going back. read more

This used to be my go to nail place every month. If you ever go, make an appointment with Mary. She is truly wonderful every time! This last time I went, the woman doing my fingers and the woman doing my toes were arguing in Vietnamese, and the woman doing my fingers physically smacked the other woman. The woman doing my toes punched her back in the arm. The woman doing my fingers was then in such a bad mood, she was so rough with my fingers, making multiple fingers bleed. She kept stating it was because I told her I only had an hour. One of my fingers was bleeding onto the nail, and she didn't wipe it. She just painted right over it. You can see blood on my fingernail under the color. That's so unsanitary, as she is going to keep using that color on other people. I asked to talk to the manager and was told she was going to call me. She has never called, and I won't be going back. read more

Foothill Ranch/Lake Forest Location: I am so sad to write this as this was my favorite spot to go as a teenager. Now 15 years later after moving around, I went to try it out again as it was familiar. Immediately I noticed dirty floors. Then I noticed mold in the foot baths, buildup of finger nail clippings in the small stools they use. Dirt and grime on their carts. The towel that was used was dirty and had what looked like gel nail polish chunks on it. I am actually so surprised I didn't get up and walk out. $69 dollars later for a mere 15 min pedicure and gel polish. I wish I didn't have to write this review but it was just not ok. Not sure what's going on but that shop needs a good cleaning. My nails also were less than desirable. The gel polish doesn't even reach my cuticles. It looks like I've had it on for a week and this is just the regrowth. Very disappointed. read more

I was a walk in as I just needed a regular polish manicure for an event in between gel polish, they said they could take me right away, I waited 20 minutes, not a problem, I didn't have an appointment, when I got in I was pressured multiple times for a gel manicure I explained numerous times I just needed regular polish and was in between gel polishes that i was getting done with my mom, she kept telling me that it wouldn't last, then when that didn't work she moved on to extra massage, dip nails, and all the other things she could think of upgrading me to, then she said my eyelashes were bad and I needed them waxed, I thought places realized that customers don't like to be told what is wrong with them to get them to buy something but I guess not everywhere has, I kept saying nicely that I just needed a regular manicure for now and nothing else, she apologized and said it was her job to help people look beautiful and she forgets not to do that sometimes, that seemed genuine so we were fine after that, but my nails looked worse than if a child had painted them and chipped the same day. I know regular polish doesn't last long but the same day was pretty quick. The place was also not that clean. I was hoping to find a local place in between when I go with my mom to go but I would never visit here again. read more

I have been coming to this place since I first moved to Trabuco Canyon about three years ago, and almost every experience has been a good one. I always get acrylic nails, and just recently have been getting gel on them as well. Today Mary did a full set acrylic with gel for me; she is so sweet and did a great job. Even gave me the design for free. I even got a pedicure two weeks ago, and it still looks perfect to this day. Generally easy to talk to staff. I haven't been to this nail salon before but I was driving home and decided to stop. They were really busy because it was the Saturday before Easter but I was surprised because they got me in right away. The woman who was doing my pedicure was really sweet and she did a great job. The woman who did my nails was the exact opposite. I don't know if she was low man on the totem pole but she could not focus on me or my manicure for more than a couple of minutes. She kept getting up and putting the protective plastic in other stations or taking payment at the cash register for other customers. The worst though was when she answered her phone and then had a LENGTHY and loud argument with someone about when she would get home. After all of these interruptions I finally said something to the woman who was doing my pedicure and she apologized. But then it got really awkward for me with the woman doing my manicure. She QUICKLY AS FAST AS SHE COULD finished my manicure which meant she slapped on layer over layer without letting one dry before she did the next. Even though I sat under the dryer for awhile it didn't matter because as soon as I got in my car and left my manicure literally peeled off my nails and was a waste of time and money. I know i know - first world problems. But it's not cheap to get your nails done and this woman's unprofessionalism and treatment of me was really upsetting. read more

I have been going to this place for a while for pedicures, eyebrows, and acrylics (which I currently have taken off). They are always professional, they never have a super long wait when you don't have an appointment (although I highly recommend having an appointment because they can get super busy). My pedicures are always nice and relaxing and they never do anything without asking. Even cutting your nails shorter, they always ask first. They are very gentle and the massage is incredible. They do a scrub and the lotion on your legs and feet without charging extra. If you want a longer massage that does cost extra. It is always really clean and they make sure that they tub is the right temperature for you (which for me is quite hot). I have had my eyebrows done here by several different women and they are always perfect. They always shape them nicely and never over-pluck them. I have had women (at other places) over do it with the clean up and I end up needing to fill in my brows with a pencil. I appreciate the light touch they have. My last full set of acrylics was a while ago but they would always do great designs for me. Sometimes I would have a design in mind but other times I would ask them to just design something for me based on what they thought would look good. I was never once disappointed. They always lasted the 2-3 weeks between fills with no chipping. I didn't always have the same person since I didn't always wait the same amount of time between fills but every single person I got did an incredible job. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who needs any of these services done. Super friendly group of women, very reasonably priced, good hours, and just a nice place. Love love love. read more

She is super friendly and does a great job. I've made an appointment every time and only once did I have to wait a couple minutes (it was a busy weekend day). My last set, I had to wait 4 weeks to come in to get them filled because I had been super busy, and the gel still looked perfect! (Even though they were really grown out haha). Went for the first time last Friday. They were super packed during the lunch hour (12-1PM) but still made time for me.. I admittedly did not make an appointment. I did a pedi and a mani, both french tip. $33 for the nails, about $28 for the pedi, and it's $5 more if you want your calluses removed (which is included in the $28). I didn't get the names of the ladies who worked on me but they were both nice. I often wonder what these Vietnamese ladies are saying at the nail shops I go to but I'm learning to accept it. The lady who did my mani did it a difference way from what I'm used to, she did white and pink powder. I'm used to just the fake white tip acrylic nails and pink powder so that was new. The only complaint I have is the girl next to me received an arm/hand massage during her mani. I know it sounds bratty but I was looking forward to my mani lady doing that for me too! But it wasn't even offered :( Other than that, I like the set up of the shop and overall I'm happy with the outcome. read more
