I only recently got back into getting my nails done so was on the hunt for something near my house. We had an outing on Saturday so I wanted to get it done Friday after work. A quick call to the salon and the person confirm me at 5:30. At arrival, I did have to wait a little longer. They were busy!! The vibe was buzzing and rambunctious. Customers and artists just laughing if up. I soon realized that they paid so much attention to detail and wanted their customers to be completely satisfied that if someone needed an adjustment, they'd fix it on the spot. Nevertheless, they were extremely apologetic and my assigned person actually got one of her coworkers to get started on me while she finished her previous customer. I was there for a gel manicure. My nails were mostly long but my two index fingers were shortened because I broke them. It was suggested that if I wanted to maintain length that I "patch" my broken nails with gel-x extension which was what I was hoping for. What I also appreciated was that they had someone else who was more familiar with gel-x come over and put on the two for me versus my person just doing it herself. Run. Don't waste your time here. They do not properly wash their tools and gave me a nasty and painful toe infection. Some of the nail techs are very inexperienced and couldn't complete a gel manicure correctly. I spent 3 hours just to get a gel manicure done because the first nail tech kept messing up. When asking the first nail to correct my nails due to bumpiness, bubbles, and Cotten stuck to my nails, she would pinch my fingers extremely hard and give me attitude because her next customer was waiting. Getting my nails done is treat for myself and relaxation time but this experience was definitely not it. read more

The salon is clean, friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. They take time to understand what I want, and take care to make sure I'm happy. I've been in search of a nail salon to go to regularly and came across this salon on yelp. I always get a simple nude gel manicure but decided to try out hard gel because I heard they last longer. In my experience, gel manicures take around 1 to 1.5 hours. My appointment only took 40 minutes to do hard gel nails... I think that already speaks volume to how rushed it was. They didn't even prep my nails; they went straight into applying the hard gel. I asked them if they could shape/file my nails BEFORE applying the gel but she said she'll do it after. She didn't even cut/clean my cuticles. The result of it reflects the effort that was put into it. The gel is overflowing onto my cuticles, which makes it look really messy. The shape of my nails are all uneven. Not to mention the application is all bulky and thick due to not properly filing them down afterwards. Save your money & time and go elsewhere. Now I have to spend extra money to go get them fixed. read more

I've been going to this nail salon for two years now, and they are amazing! From acrylic to dip to gel, I've done it all, and they never disappoint. For the ladies with thinner nails that break, strong/hard gel is your best friend. My nails ALWAYS chip with regular gel, but with hard gel they stay so strong and never break-- the only reason I need to get them done again is because they're grown out. Sugar coat can be a little hard to find because they don't yet have their sign up. It reads "Nails & Spa" only I love this location because they delivered the exact design I wanted. My daughter and I got our pedicures and I got gel builder. The gel builder they used was the next I have seen. It was completely clear and left my nails looking gorgeous before polish. I'm tempted to just get a clear polish next time because my long nails with just the gel looked strong and healthy. Second time here and I've finally found my nail salon. It's been a long time coming, and you are hard pressed to find a salon in this area that excels at shaping and execution this well. I haven't had to wait longer than 5 minutes or so when I've booked an appt. Obviously, book an appt whenever possible. Kristine and Tracy have both done my nails at this point, and I've loved them both times. I'm picky. The last salon I went to made me bleed and cut me four times (I wish I was exaggerating). Not even a light file burn at this salon which is pretty shocking to me. I called and asked for an appointment, when I got there she helped nicely, then she realize her regular appointment was coming and rushed to finish with my nails. I left ok! Not satisfied but ok. Two days later my nails started to chip on the corners(SnS don't chip or cracked that easy) i was surprised and thought is only one nail, then i realized it was more than 4 nails.
