This is an amazing company. We get Jonathan which is absolutely great at his job. He is extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating. We have been using this company for over 2 years. We first had an issue with ants and they were eliminated within 2 days. They stand behind their work and will come out the next day or week for no extra cost if the problem persists, until every bug is completely gone. Their prices are great as well. The first time is around $100 then only $35 per month. I just bought a new house and there was a bad ant problem. They were here within a couple days and the ants are gone. Upon renting a home, I discovered that this house was literally infested with scorpions -- inside and out. I was scared to sleep, eat, walk, or even open a drawer. After some research, I found Progressive Pest Control and decided to give them a try. Farrah, the owner, has wonderful customer service. She is knowledgeable and helpful, explaining to me what needed to be done about the scorpions. When she sent out her bug man, Justin, to my home, I was impressed with his clean cut look and his manner. He was polite, respectful and very friendly. He sprayed inside and the exterior. The service was great for the 1st year. They always called the day before to confirm our appointment for the next day at the time we had requested when we signed our contract in June 2015. We requested a rather specific timeframe due to our work schedules and to be able to grant access to the technician through our locked gates. They were so willing to accommodate our requests and were "thorough and nice" in order to get our initial business. But then the 1st year passed, they "automatically" renewed our contract for another year, and their service has become mediocre and complacent. Now, they are scheduling our appointments either WAY earlier than requested or WAY later because "they have more customers in the summer". Unfortunately, we are stuck in another 1-year contract with their mediocre service. I am not impressed. Rest assured, I have already drafted my cancellation letter. I am sorely disappointed in this business' lack of desire to retain any long-term customers. read more

I've had Progressive Pest Control for about 3 years and my parents had them for about 7 or 10 years. Their service is relatively affordable although I was paying the same for my 900 square foot house as they were paying for their 2900 square foot house. I didn't have any problems with the actual service as they were timely and very nice whenever I needed to speak with them. The problem came when it was time to cancel my service with the original intention of getting them again at my new home. When I called and said I needed to cancel service, I was told that there was a cancellation fee of over $100 because I "signed a 12 month contract". I knew that I had been with them for 3 years and never signed anything since I started service so I wanted to see how far it would go. I told the woman that I never signed anything and she was adamant that I had signed a 12 month contract this March. She even said "hmmmmmm" as if she was looking at my account and assured me that I owed the cancellation fee. When I told her to produce the contract that I signed in March, she became rude and continued to dismiss me and acted like she was looking at my account. When I finally said I had been with them for 3 years and still wanted a copy of the contract that I allegedly signed in March she told me that I "don't need to worry about it now". The funny thing is that they did THE EXACT SAME THING to my parents. I would be careful with this business and know if you signed anything because they will try to get money that you do not owe. read more

Hired this company to help us to get rid of scorpions. While the initial conversations and customer service were nice (while we were deciding whether to sign up with them or someone else), the rest of the experience was a disaster! After 4 exterminations - both inside and outside the house - scorpions were still here, crawling on bedroom ceiling, sinks and all over the yard. Finally, we hired Preventive Pest Control who explained to us that the poison Progressive had used would not kill scorpions - it only kills their food supply, such as cockroaches, crickets, etc - but the scorpions are left unharmed. Preventive Pest Control got rid of our problem, and we are signed up with them now for regular exterminations. However, after we called Progressive to cancel the upcoming services, the problems began. They would not pick up the phone during business hours, so I left them a voicemail with all the info regarding cancellation. Weeks later, they are billing us for additional extermination that took place AFTER I placed the call. They are trying to insist that I never called to cancel and explain the lack of communication by "being understaffed". They are basically accusing me of lying and being extremely rude on the phone. Classic line from the phone conversation with the owner: "I've been trying to get rid of scorpions in my own house for 10 years, and I still keep seeing them. We never said we would guarantee anything." Nice advertising for your won services! Bottom line: horrible service, horrible billing and no help with the pests. read more

Progressive Pest Control was hired to perform a termite inspection for a home that I am listing. The appointment was made, I arrived early to meet with Bruce. Bruce arrived to the property on time and was not only professional, but extremely friendly, something you do not find in Vegas much anymore. He did what he did and was very informative throughout the inspection and was very thorough. After the inspection, we got chatting about real estate, the work he does, and just random chatter. It was very random, yet refreshing, to have someone so passionate about what they do and be able to share and compare their experiences with me, it was really nice reprieve from my busy day. We saw 3 live scorpions around our home and I was terrified. Huge fear of them. Contacted progressive pest control next day on Yelp and got a day set up for them to spray. They also put powder in the cracks of our brick walls and granules in the rocks. We found one dead scorpion next day and nothing since. Just had our second spray. Because this company was highly recommended, I called to help me with my scorpion problem. We have scorpions all over the neighborhood. I was with my previous pest control company for 1.5 years straight but they didn't get rid of the scorpions. Still found they every month. Today, Progressive Pest Control sent our area sprayer and he did a great job of really spraying where the previous one had not. He was punctual and knowledgeable. Progressive Pest Control is a wonderful company. We've had Andrew coming out to our home for years. He is kind and courteous. He always puts on booties over his shoes when walking on our carpet, which we really appreciate. There has only been one time that we noticed live bugs in our home in between services (those pesky pincher bugs). I called PPC, and per their guarantee, they sent Andrew back out in between services for free to perform an extra spray. Their customer service is excellent. I've been using Progressive Pest control for 2 years now, I completed my contract with them. I would recommend their service to anyone I know, they do an Awesome job and although they say you can call them back free of charge if you see any bugs, I never had to call them back once. Tom is our regular guy and he's great, he's always on time and he is always friendly. They always give you reminder phone calls and they are very flexible when you cannot keep your appointment. The owner Sarah is all about keeping her customers. As for price, I don't find them expensive at all, you get what you pay for and for the service they do I think its reasonable. The contract is the contract, people shouldn't complain about contracts anymore, everything we do now requires contracts and all of it function the EXACT same way you don't like it and want out there's always consequences. I was soo freaked out as I have 2 small children and a dog. I looked for a Pest Control company that had good reviews, as my previous company had been fired after the 2nd month. Not only were they able to come the next day, they always work with my schedule and I never saw a scorpion (alive) again! My first service from Progressive was in 2006 when I moved from a beg-bug infested home (thats a different review for a well known cruise line and a different pest control company). Concerned that I would bring the pests with me even though I bought new furniture, I asked Progressive to come into the new, empty house to treat it and then had them come again once we moved in as added protection. I was pleasantly suprised when Farah walked in with three technicians and introduced herself as the owner..(Girl power!)..They worked out a plan of attack and I was in the house a year and a half, bug free, when I bought what I thought were new mattresses and there were the bugs again!!! Farah even went as far to call the furniture company and demand that they remove the mattresses and allow me to inspect the new wrapped mattresses outside of my house..Way beyond what I paid for insect treatment! Fast forward, 6 years, 2 jobs, a stint out of the country, and a new house and i was calling on Progressive again to spray..Another great technician, but not so great new office personnel. Gone is the personnal touch, the consistent customer service, and the flexibility I need, due to my own schedule and commitments. My appointments even changed to a day of the week that I never had before. I carried a balance for quite some-time (months) and when I could have them back out again, I got a call from the administrative assistant telling me that she has added $15.00 to my balance and If I do not hand the Technicin money when he pulls up, he will drive away..Wrong way to come at me after a 14 hour day. My reponse, you can cancel my appointment and have Farah call me. No phone call, but I assume she never got the message. Got handed to collections who was even ruder than the office assistant and ready to blast Progressive on social media, because "that's how I roll these days". "Hold, please, Ego check, and resume" Call Farah, after a few this and that, we work it out, check is in the mail !!! It was never the hands on service that made me hot, the techs in the field are great!! It was going from a valued customer to just another account, who is replaceable. Farah is back on the phones and the appointment book and I am back to feeling like a valued customer...Girl power once again!!! read more

Not only did they squeeze me into their busy Saturday am schedule with absolutely no notice, they showed up with two of the nicest informed technicians. One sprayed inside while the other sprayed my entire 1/2 acre lot! They got the perimeters, the bushes, my river rock, etc. They also left water released pellet droppings around the perimeter of my yard and through all my boxes inside my garage! We have been using Preventive Pest Control for a number of years now and Kurt has been wonderful. Since using preventive if we see any bugs in or out of the house we can call them and at no charge they come out and respray.
