    The food was great - easily some of the best BBQ in the area. Despite it being a busy Saturday, we were seated quickly and our food arrived timely as well. We ordered the ribs and brisket plates and split both dishes, which turned out to be a great choice. Each plate was delicious and flavorful in its own way. The brisket was cooked perfectly- tender and flaky, while the ribs were even more flavorful thanks to the BBQ sauce and fell right off the bone. At $26 and $29 per dish, we were hoping for slightly larger portions of coleslaw or sides. The interior was a bit dark, though it fit the overall vibe very well. The bar area was lively, even without a TV, which was nice to see. Overall, the atmosphere was great, and I'll likely be back when i'm in the area.

    This place is really cute! They have great indoor and outdoor seating with a fun atmosphere. It's a little on the pricier side, but we really enjoyed the pickled vegetables and thought they were a standout.

    Service was attentive and friendly. Food portions were solid without being overwhelmingly heavy. Our cocktails were unique and smooth. One in our party is allergic eggs but thought the cocktail with egg whites looked good. Our server immediately said they could do an alternative base for that texture and it turned out great. Strongly recommend :)

    Stopped in for dinner on a Friday evening and had a nice meal! We were able to get street parking a little bit down the road. We were able to get a spot at the bar which was nice. Bartender was nice and able to give good recommendations. We started with the roasted carrot salad and loved it! The carrots with the Greek yogurt and chili crisp were delicious! A very unique dish. I then ordered the Mac and cheese and added chopped pork. The Mac and cheese was warm, creamy, with a great contrast with the crunch breadcrumbs. Pork was great add on. Overall a really nice meal and glad we stopped by!

    Our last summer trip to Vermont was our first time stopping at Pro Pig, and now we'll have to visit each trip! We ate in the restaurant side - they don't take reservations, but we were seated right away when we arrived (early dining times with a toddler FTW, iykyk.) Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the various options on the draft beer list and cocktail menu and gave us great recommendations. We started with the duck fat fries, you can't go wrong with these whenever they're on a menu. The cornbread was moist and very flavorful, my kiddo ate it up! The 1/2 pound plate of chopped pork was BOMB - the meat is so tender, and pre-doused in their Eastern North Carolina BBQ sauce which is very vinegary which I loved. The sliced brisket plate was also top notch - the brisket was smoked very well and the portion was a hefty thick cut. Great atmosphere, great people, great food!

    Great atmosphere. Very hipster vibes, which we personally loved. Great selection of mocktails for those who don't drink. Staff was fast and friendly. One of the best burgers we've ever had. Brisket is 10/10

    Cornbread and maple butter super yum! Fried pimento cheese super yum! Brisket sandwich decent. spicy chicken sandwich yum!! Ambiance very cool, very speak easy like! service good, friendly staff! Food came out almost immediately during peak dinner rush! Use the Yelp waitlist, it was very helpful! They run out of certain menu items early on so maybe go extra early.

    Good bbq, especially loved the fried ribs and the smoked wings. The sausage was a bit salty, cornbread a tad burnt/dry, and brisket oily and dry. On the bright side, their bbq sauce is super good!

    Our first meal in Vermont, the last thing I expected was life-changing wings, but that's what happened! The dry rub wings were maple/sweet, spicy, and crunchy, and incredible in every way. This is the kind of top-tier food that induces food dreams. Everything else was so satisfying too. The coleslaw was full of flavor, the cornbread was soft and sweet (no dry, bland cornbread here!), we loved the marinated carrots (so tart and crunchy), and the meats were perfectly seasoned. Not surprisingly for a BBQ place, it smelled amazing from the moment we walked in the door. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Wish we didn't live across the country from this gem!

    This place nails the bar vibe--great energy, creative cocktails, and plenty of fun options. We loved the ambiance and enjoyed trying a seasonal dish. The watermelon dish was tasty, though we wished it had been chilled to really make it pop. Biggest downside? We ordered food to go, and by the time we got home, the bag was soaked in grease--not from a spill, but from the bottom of the container itself. Awesome bar scene, but definitely hoping the to-go packaging gets some love.

    We did a one day/night trip out to Stowe, VT. We found Prohibition Pig on yelp and was able to put our name on waitlist. Waited out reservation at our room and dropped in as our seat got closer. We checked in and had a drinks to wait at the bar. Shout out to Patty who made us feel at home. Toki Santory and Negroni were great starters. We also opened with the smoked wings with homemade ranch which we ate right up! For mains we had the pig mac burger and brisket sandwich. A definite must visit if you're in town. Cheers!
