Trivia night was so much fun. The host was really energetic and there was a great turnout and the structure of the game included a fun crossword puzzle, picture identification round, and the opportunity to wager at the end. The questions were totally reasonable. My friend and I didn't get into it but there are a lot of other fun activities in the venue I think I saw video game machines corn hole and shuffleboard. Was in Stowe for vacation and needed a casual place to eat dinner. Went to Alfie's with my husband and toddler daughter and it was exactly what we wanted for that night. There's a bar that serves good beer and also food like tacos and quesadillas, which were a bit pricey, but also delicious. Honestly, I thought it was worth it. The bartender was great at recommending beers but also recommending other places in the area since we were from out of town. Super nice and chill. For the little one, there were arcade games, patio couches to sit on while watching football games on their big big projector TVs. There was also a shuffle board too, and cornhole. Did a weekend trip in Stowe and was so happy we came to Alfie's, such an amazing experience being able to find a restaurant/bar with indoor activities! Chris and Nate were wonderful and elevated our experience at Alfie's. I'm a huge corn hole and darts person and the fact they offer both along with some arcade games, and a ping pong table made this a fantastic stop! Will definitely want to come up during the summer as-well since they also have garage doors for an indoor/outdoor experience. So happy we chose to stop in here for drinks and a good time! This place was so much fun! We went for the first time last night for Trivia night. We are here visiting and met up with friends. From the front, it looked like it was closed, but when we went around back, the place was lively! Nothing fancy, but great vibe. Big open interior with a large bar and a separate place for food orders. Arcade games, cornhole and a stage make up the rest of the place. We decided to start outside as music was loud and we wanted to chat. Food and drinks are get your own. We shared guacamole and chips, and the street corn dip, both were delicious. Everyone had 2 tacos and we all raved! Last night they had an in and out burger taco and it was amazing! It was our first Trivia night and we had a blast! I definitely do NOT recommend Alfie's because they overcharge, I suspect especially if they know you are from out of town. I was there on 8/29/25 and the bartender charged $20 for a Bailey's & vodka. That's a rocks glass filled with ice and their house vodka. Twenty bucks! That's just disgusting. And when I questioned it, she told me that if she had used a full shot (I think of the Bailey's) it would have been $30 and then she walked away. I was part of a wedding party of approx. 40 people and that's how they treated us. I wasn't the only one in our party that was overcharged. I will never go back. read more

You really cant find a restaurant without advance reservation this time of year. This is an interesting concept for a restaurant a restaurant it's actually more of a game room bar that happens to serve food . Its a huge space with many beers available and lots of games for all ages. I dont think I'd visit for the food though. The mexican fare was Ok but we had vegetarian tacos which were soggy and overcooked. Its tough being a pescatarian in this part of the world. The meats were probably better. The staff was really nice, and you could see this place would be really fun for families. They had a trivia night when we visited, really good turnout for that too. read more

Was there for an event (Lamoille Community House fund raiser) and it's a cool place. They serve tacos (they had four different types on the menu) and I think that's what they regularly have. They have a full bar, with a few local (and commercial) beers and ciders on tap. As an event place, it was very good. Large open space, with a stage for bands, small kitchen, long bar, and outdoor seating areas. There's parking in the rear and I was surprised at how many cars fit in that area. The cider I had was great, Downeast Winter Blend. I'm a fan of the Blackberry cider, and the Winter Blend was good. It's a sweet cider though. They have a few video arcade games, cornhole (indoors? what's up with that!) and a long shuffle board game. Anyway, Alfie's was a cool place. I like what they did with it and I hope they succeed. Had our first visit on this, our 20 something years of Stowe runs. We went around lunch time when they opened because we had the kids. The space is a great place to hang out with some old school arcade games, ping pong table, corn hole boards, music, etc. For me, the real fun was in the food. The tacos were amazing.
