I just got the tiramisu from here and I thought that it was actually really good. You could definitely taste the ladyfingers that were in there and there was a good amount of coffee. It was heavy but heavy like any tiramisu would be so it was very good in that sense. I thought it was a classic tiramisu with a classic components, and I would probably get it again as well if I ever wanted a classic tiramisu nothing felt too dry. Everything felt good and pretty fresh. It was about six bucks which I don't think was bad for the portion size. I definitely think that you could share it between two people and it would be enough. read more

Lazy Saturday, decided to have pizza delivered. Project Pizza has become our go-to for delivery pizza. Always delivered fresh & hot, the crust is nice and crisp, holds up well to toppings. The mac & cheese bites were tasty with the dip and without! We have also had their salads and fried mozzarella in the past - all very good and flavorful! Project Pizza uses the Slice app for delivery which means no outrageous fees and their own staff for delivery - no 3rd party. Ordered a pizza and it was made to order quickly and very good. Margarita has a crispy bottom and the crust almost tastes like a breadstick. Unique revolving oven for the pizzas. We found a favorite pizza place, YEAH! We moved to the area over the summer and have been trying a lot of the local area pizzerias (which there is an abundance of around here) in the hopes we would find one we all like and agree on. The winner is...........Project Pizza! My boys love their plain cheese pie and I have to agree it is quite good. My husband is a fan of their pepperoni pie and raves about the fact that they put a ton of pepperoni on it. I really like their cheese calzones and some of their specialty pies..... So we all eat and are happy! When we do our family pizza nights, even some of our extended family members have been asking for Project! So even though there are many options to choose from, we highly recommend Project Pizza. They also do free local delivery. Checked out this place with my dad when I came back for spring break because there was so much hype about it. We ordered a margarita pizza and an eggplant parmesan. The pizza was good and seemed to be made with fresh ingredients plus the place looked very clean inside and the staff was friendly. My favorite thing was by far the eggplant parm! It was delicious and huge. I would definitely go back and there prices are reasonable but as a heads up they do only offer one size pizzas! read more

Stick to the pizza. I'm still giving Project Pizza a 5-star review on this update specifically to highlight just how good the pizza is, but on our second visit we explored more of the menu and none of it was great. We ordered a veggie wrap, a garden salad, a caprese salad, and garlic knots. Although the prices are good for all of these menu items, the quality leaves much to be desired. We ended up tossing the entire garden salad without eating it. It was your basic salad nightmare--wilted lettuce, weirdly cut white onion (?), shriveled little black olives. Everything else was a solid 3/5. Pizza was delicious as usual. read more

I eat the gluten-free cauliflower pizza which is to die for. I recommend you ordering ahead of time instead of delivery. I did receive some money back because it took me an hour and 1/2 to get my pizza from ordering to delivery. Delivery guy said there was a lot of traffic to the customer unknowingly that the customer knows a lot of side streets to get to me from there and even the other side of town. But they are nice people. Recommend pickup. read more

tasty pizza and friendly people. Some outdoor seating but not fancy - it's definitely mostly a takeout and delivery place. Cheese, sauce and toppings were very good (both red and white). We especially liked the white "florentine". They could work on their crust, both flavor (slightly more of it) and texture (I'd like it softer and slightly stretchier), but it's not bad. I just moved here from ny and I must say the pizza here is delicious!!! From Long island, work in nyc so I'm not talking about upstate pizza. This place is just as good! Amazing. Was on 84 coming back to PA from a sports event in Hartford and decided to stop for gas and lunch. Found Project Pizza on Yelp and decided to give it a try. This is the real deal. I grew up in Brooklyn NY and what is most important to me is the crust on a pizza and these guys have it nailed down. Doesn't hurt that the owner is from Brooklyn and relocated to the area. Two of us had plain slices, a meatball slice and a pepperoni slice all outstanding. Then the owner comes outside and offers us a slice of his grandmas pie on him. It was so good I walked in as we wrapped up and said I'll take as many of those that you have left to go. If you are in the area or driving through make the stop and get some great pizza. Owner was super nice and friendly too so good to support this business during these times. They have takeout and outdoor tables to enjoy fresh. You wont be disappointed! read more

Omg! This was one of the best Buffalo Chicken pizza slices I ever had. Everything on it was so well balanced. The staff was lovely and the bathroom was very clean. They even had an employee go in to clean the bathroom when I was waiting for my slice to finish. Honestly the entire establishment was immaculately clean. If ever I were to pass through again, I would definitely buy a Buffalo Chicken Panini! read more

We love this pizza. There are three types of crust (thin, square thick cut, gluten free). BBQ chicken is awesome, and there is not too much grease (no napkin damping required). We've rarely had a bad pie there (read comment on gluten free below), always order the garlic knots, and the delivery service is quick. I've had the chicken parm sandwich and it's really good. For areas to improve, they have gotten popular and it's impossible to get through on the phone sometimes and I would love an online order option. Also, a couple of times the gluten free crust was burned. I don't think we will be using any other local pizza places after discovering Project Pizza. read more

Be VERY careful when ordering from this place. I tried ordering classic cheese pizza using the app and it defaulted to cauliflower crust. We asked them to rectify this and they refused. It's shady business for the first item to default to cauliflower crust. I'll be sure to never use them again. read more

Honestly, pretty damn decent especially in Newtown. Margherita was solid-a little heavier paddle would have been ideal but ingredients were good and crust was nice! We all know that Newtown has a lot of Pizza restaurants so. having a long time local favorite can stop you from trying a new one. Well, this wonderful new place gave a generous donation to Families United In Newtown for many gift certificates. I was lucky to win a few raffles and in a rush after working outside all day ordered two pizzas and a grinder for dinner to try it out. The pizza was so very delicious and so was the grinder. At the same time my daughter ordered French toast. For $18. We are talking $6 a slice of brioche. Wild business, that. As mains, my wife ordered the avocado toast. Which she actually seemed to enjoy, although the bread was soggy, and the other items on the plate severely lacking. I ordered the "lobster" cake eggs Benedict. If this was lobster, then I'm the Mother Theresa. It was, by my palate overly processed canned crab meat. At best, overly processed lobster meat, but I highly doubt that given the taste, color, and texture. The CRAB cake itself was meh, the accompanying potato hash was okay, and the hollandaise sauce was passable if not good. We ordered drinks as well. My lemon drop martinis were pretty good. My wife was dissatisfied with her margarita, then ordered a dirty martini that was okay. We walked out with a tab of nearly $200. To say it was worth the money would be absurd. I hate to be so blatantly honest with this review, but this experience (food and drink-wise) was not one I would recommend.

We ended up sitting in the enclosed outdoor space with our group of 4 adults. Despite the cold temperature outside and the heavy rain, we were cozy and warm until we left around 630 PM. Our group tried many of the beers on the menu. Counting the days was my favorite of the beers that I tried and Dunkelweiss was a close second ! I loved all the fun beer names. We ordered the giant pretzels to share while we casually enjoyed our beers. We ended up ordering the cheese pizza and buffalo chicken pizza. The buff chix pizza was very salty. I'd personally pass on that one on our next visit. Overall great visit and will return when in the area !

Received a salad instead. Called to let them know that I had the wrong order. Alot of silence on the phone line? Had the receipt to show this. They said they would make another, so we drove over to pick it up again. My complaint about Papa Al's is that we had to drive over again to pick up the meal - no compensation and the other meal sitting at home sat and got cold. That is purely not a good business practice. Won't be ordering from Papa Al's again. I appreciate a local business that cares! The food at Papa Al's is good but not the best! There are better options!
