First visit: no delivery, so you must go to location- housed at the Fairfield Train Station. Tiny area, eating in option most limited-which we chose to sample slices-a cheese and a sausage. Overall good; liked crust and taste. Sauce a little bit less than great and would have preferred a tad more. Cheese had that stringy, chewy aspect which is not my preference. Ordering/eating area cluttered, and there was a bag of pepperoni just laying on counter. Decent but not sure about returning. read more

My brother always asks for Nauti dolphin pizza when he's home and it's a staple. We love their Buffalo chicken pizza. My parents thought it was a bit salty but I think it was fine. You've got to ask for bleu cheese with the pizza because it definitely takes it up another level! Staff has always been great and I love that you can get slices in case you're looking for something to eat before hopping on the train. They do get busy during peak times so make sure you order ahead! read more

Yes, there are a million pizza choices, but like Goldilocks most of the other pizza are too burnt, too overpriced, or require you to wait and wait and wait. No at the dolphin. This place was okay. Ok, it wasn't actually that good. The service was crappy. I had to ask three times for a slice of cheese pizza. The girl at the register kept saying "Huh?" She was talking to other people behind the counter, asked me what I would like to order and then continued her conversation with her coworkers. Super unprofessional. Then, she threw a slice of pizza at me.... when I asked for a bag and said it was to go. She obviously was more concerned with her fellow coworkers than serving customers. The started on the Avenue near St. Mary's and that magical vibe followed them to Fairfield. Nauti Dolphin uses the tastiest vegetables and the sauce is the base along with high end cheese to make one of the best pizzas anywhere! The crust!? Here's what I think about crust. A well-made and baked crust should taste as thus... when you first bite into it and start to chew you should taste the delicious baked in flavors, garlic, buttery, grilled like flavors, then the sugary bread flavors when the carbohydrates break down to finish nicely over all the first flavors!!! I have been going to this gem since I was a kid. It's always been my family's go to for pizza. Even with all the new pizza places around town we still choose these guys. I've never had an issue with customer service, they are always very friendly on the phone and when I go to pick up my grub! It's also a great place to grab a quick slice, they don't have seating but there are plenty of places around to sit on a pretty day. By far the best Buffalo chicken I have ever had, nothing compares! I love Nauti Dolphin so much. I've been coming here for years and it has become my favorite pizzeria in the Fairfield area. Only a few counter stools so not much seating, but it's in a convenient spot along the train station, take to the beach or bingo it home. I would describe the ambiance as minimal, it has a New York City kind of feel. I usually get plain, Hawaiian or gluten-free. I "love" the name, but I only "like" the pizza. Nauti Dolphin is a small, delivery / takeout only pizza shop located directly inside of the Fairfield train station. They offer medium crust whole pizzas, huge New York style slices, and a variety of pastas, grinders, etc. I opted for a small pepperoni pizza, which I thought was tasty. It was made with a good quality cheese, the right amount of sauce, and a crust that left a little more to be desired. The ordering process was pretty prompt. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes and it was. My only complaint is that the young girl taking the orders and collecting the money lacks personality and some customer service skills. Everyone else at the pizza shop seemed nice and friendly. All in all...It's a good place to grab something quick to eat before or after the train. read more
