Instead, they reviewed photos and immediately denied responsibility, even suggesting the damage happened elsewhere--despite the fact that I have a membership at their location. This is not a professional way to handle a claim. After reviewing the images, a reasonable next step would have been to invite me to their office to examine the damage directly, but that did not happen. I provided screenshots from a video clearly showing scratches, yet they continue to deny responsibility without offering any in-person assessment. They are relying on video footage taken from far away, on a wet surface, which barely shows the scratches. Anyone with basic understanding would know that wet surfaces and distance obscure fine details like brush or scratch marks--these are only visible up close. I requested an address to bring my car in and show the damage in person, but they have not provided that either. At this point, the issue is not only the damage to my vehicle, but also how dismissively and irresponsibly my claim has been handled.

He changed my oil once with the Amsoil that I provided. He instructed me to buy an oil pan plug from the Subaru dealership for the next oil change, which I did. When I called this unscrupulous mechanic to schedule my next oil change, he advised me that it was "Not in his business plan to do oil changes on vehicles when the owner provides the high quality oil. ? I find myself wondering what a dealership will find when they check that oil pan plug Lou instructed me to purchase? What did he not tell me? I'm suspicious that the dealership will find that Lou damaged my oil plug. I'm going to the dealership today and if I'm wrong I'll come back to this site and apologize.
