I thought the space was great! Loved the decor and vibe and the live music was a 5/5 with Gary Pak on Piano and Greg on drums. But this review is about the service. It was bad. I never went to a bar where I didn't feel welcomed in Chinatown. It was hard to get service but maybe the bartender was having an off day or he just didn't like me. But if the live music wasn't happening I would have left after waiting 30 min. They have a happy hour and he said they didn't, only to come back and say they did. I'd like to go back and give it another shot. The drink was ok. Chios and salsa state and I would not recommend getting it! Save the $5. Menu is limited so don't expect much. . 3 star is only because of the vibe & music .. otherwise it would have been a 1 star.

    Classic cheese pizza.

10/6/23 had a show out here and got two slices of pizza. Unfortunately they didn't have any of the specialty pizza but I'll be back again for them. The pizza is out on the display and you just let the staff know which ones you want so they can pop it in the oven. It's so good! Music was kickin'. The people were dancing and having a good time. Only thing was the toilet in the bathroom didn't flush. Yeah. Oh well. Proof is the bomb. Come here and eat pizza. Have a drink. Enjoy live music.

Raw Garlic Knots. Good if you wanna have to cook...bad if you're anyone else.

Haven't been since pre-Covid. Empty but it was like 5pm so maybe little too early for a Saturday? Did take out since we went holoholo during the day and just wanted to get home. My gfs ordered slices of pizza. I got the garlic knots since I was going to make pasta at home. Got home. Opened it...at first glance I thought wow, lotsa cheese and garlicky goodness. Pulled one apart. Buggah still raw! Ok, maybe just that one...Ripped um all open. All raw. Not sure the excuse since they weren't busy. My chef friend told me to bake it. I actually left the cheesy/garlic in the container since I thought would make a mess. Little did I know that half of that was raw dough. Oh well, I cooked everything and was ono. But I am taking half credit since I had to cook it.

Proof Social Club is such a cute bar! My friends and I love coming here to support the local drag queens... yes, they are very much LGBT friendly, and we love that! We ordered a few mimosas, along with the French Peasant (this was a meat and cheese board). The mimosas were light, fresh, and served in super cute mason jars. The meat and cheese board was arranged very nicely, and tasted amazing! My favorite was the creamy cheese on the bread, with some salami on top. Overall, great place to chill with some friends after work!

The bartender was not friendly on trivia night. I want my money and tips back. I love Proof and her customer service was the worst.

Came here during their Stella Artois chalice engraving event and had a lot more fun than I thought. Very chill vibes here and the perfect place for pau hana if you work in town. Only one bartender working the front of house and he was killing it! People are very friend here and easy to talk to. I love their decor and how they have our Hawaiian female ali'i on the walls!! I'm sure I'll be back!

I was looking online for food spots and bars in O'ahu and found this pizza joint that served cocktails. I saw that this place served fried rice pizza and mac n cheese pizza so I was instantly intrigued. This place is hidden in an alleyway off a small street so you may or may not have some trouble finding this place. It turns out that they can't do specialty pizzas by the slice which is a shame. They have some classic pizzas that they can do by the slice but the specialty ones on their menu can only be ordered by the whole. I ordered a slice of the meat and pepperoni pizzas which were both good. For drinks I ordered the keeper of her keys ($11) which the bartender described as a piña colada but not frozen. My second drink was the necromancer ($11) and both cocktails were good. I want to give a shoutout to my bartender Chrissy who was so nice and friendly! There is a pool table that you can play for some quarters so this is a place that you can come to for a slice of pizza, a beer, and shoot some pool with friends.

    Proof that I was there!

Tuesday night...we were at Bar 35, but wanted to keep going! 7 Pairs suggested we come here. I had never been, so why not??? Getting there is interesting because it's on a side street between Bethel and Fort Street Mall. You may also have to walk by some sketch people, but once you're there, it's a great little spot. Friendly bartenders and good drinks! A nice way to either start or end your night! Mahalo!

All the food at Proof Social Club is excellent, most especially the pizzas! The prices are good too :-) I've been here multiple times and tried several pizzas; the mac and cheese pizza was interesting, through I doubt I'd order it again. On the other hand, the smores pizza is totally The Bomb! Unfortunately, they don't make smores pizza slice pies very often; we just happened to luck out the last time we were here. If they happen to have any when you check this place out, be sure to get yourself a slice - it's completely awesome! We also shared an order of bruschetta and some meatball sliders, and enjoyed both our food with some good Sierra Nevada to wash everything down :-)

    How is parking?

Street parking is free after 6 if you can find it! If not, the municipal lot at Beretania and Nuuanu is super cheap, and the flat lot and parking garage at Mark’s Garage are both right across the street!

I initially tried the bakery directly across the street at the International Marketplace, but they didn't open until 7am. Advertising local coffee, I immediately took the ride upstairs and was greeted by two young ladies full of smiles and Aloha spirit! Being summertime and hot (even at 6am) I ordered a large iced latte and decided to drink it on their large open lanai. I'm glad I did. The breezes up there were perfect and watching the daylight get brighter with local birds chirping and fluttering about made for a very nice wake-up! This became my go-to stop every morning of my visit! I only ordered breakfast once and kept it low-carb so I had cheesy eggs and Portuguese sausage. Perfect and hit the spot. Located in a hotel called The Romer on Nāhua Street in Waikiki off of Kuhio (closer to Ala Wai Canal) it is a smallish unpretentious looking building on Diamond Head side of Nahua. They have valet stand in front and validate parking for up to 3 hours. The valet wasn't very friendly when we walked towards him and usually they hold the door open but this one did not. We realize he's probably not part of Lei Stand staff but it doesn't make a good first impression. Walk into the lobby and directly to your left is the Lei Stand. It is brightly neon but dark if that makes sense, and very small. If you're a fan of when it used to be on Bethel St downtown then you'll be disappointed with this venue. No view to be had, dark drapes cover the windows (we were there at 6:00 pm) and no cute little lanai or garden. Tiny tables either high tops or rounds - maybe 10 total and a small bar. There was one tiny corner booth. The lost star was for this set up but also another lost star for NO MUSIC. Music is such an important part of a place especially a bar so we were disappointed and appalled there was only silence. Bartender said the music was "broken" so we turned on our phones to get something on our table. Then two girls brought in something to light the place up with some tunes so that helped. The final lost star was it is called The Lei Stand yet there wasn't a lei stand inside the place. When we asked the bartender where it was he didn't even know what a lei was. Then we explained to him and he said it is in the hotel lobby but you have to go to front desk to let them know you wish to purchase one. Another disappointment. Thank goodness I bought her a lei from downtown in case they didn't have any. The good stars ... Star 1 goes to the drink menu and how delicious they tasted. "Rub up on my belly" was beautifully prepared and so delicious I had to have another one lol I mean how could I refuse a second guava jam infused Tito's vodka??? Bartender prepared with cute little garnish and an ice stick to keep it cold! He was very nice and took good care of us. My friend opted for the "Clifton's Curse" - yes there's a back story to this drink- and enjoyed the cognac, absinthe, bitters and sherry concoction! Ono! Star 2 goes to the food or "nibbles" as they call it. Taro chips and crack dip were yum and a nice handful of chips not too much and not too little. Hurricane fries - to die for! Plenty of furikake, parmigiano reggiano and spicy aioli. The girls who brought our food were very nice and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy, bringing us waters too. They also had a smash burger for $25 but we had dinner rez later so didn't want to indulge but it looked good. It might be cute if you wanted to do a private party here and I noticed a room across with a beautiful large table set up for a private dinner - not sure if part of hotel or bar.
