I thought the space was great! Loved the decor and vibe and the live music was a 5/5 with Gary Pak on Piano and Greg on drums. But this review is about the service. It was bad. I never went to a bar where I didn't feel welcomed in Chinatown. It was hard to get service but maybe the bartender was having an off day or he just didn't like me. But if the live music wasn't happening I would have left after waiting 30 min. They have a happy hour and he said they didn't, only to come back and say they did. I'd like to go back and give it another shot. The drink was ok. Chios and salsa state and I would not recommend getting it! Save the $5. Menu is limited so don't expect much. . 3 star is only because of the vibe & music .. otherwise it would have been a 1 star.

10/6/23 had a show out here and got two slices of pizza. Unfortunately they didn't have any of the specialty pizza but I'll be back again for them. The pizza is out on the display and you just let the staff know which ones you want so they can pop it in the oven. It's so good! Music was kickin'. The people were dancing and having a good time. Only thing was the toilet in the bathroom didn't flush. Yeah. Oh well. Proof is the bomb. Come here and eat pizza. Have a drink. Enjoy live music.

Raw Garlic Knots. Good if you wanna have to cook...bad if you're anyone else.

Haven't been since pre-Covid. Empty but it was like 5pm so maybe little too early for a Saturday? Did take out since we went holoholo during the day and just wanted to get home. My gfs ordered slices of pizza. I got the garlic knots since I was going to make pasta at home. Got home. Opened it...at first glance I thought wow, lotsa cheese and garlicky goodness. Pulled one apart. Buggah still raw! Ok, maybe just that one...Ripped um all open. All raw. Not sure the excuse since they weren't busy. My chef friend told me to bake it. I actually left the cheesy/garlic in the container since I thought would make a mess. Little did I know that half of that was raw dough. Oh well, I cooked everything and was ono. But I am taking half credit since I had to cook it.

Proof Social Club is such a cute bar! My friends and I love coming here to support the local drag queens... yes, they are very much LGBT friendly, and we love that! We ordered a few mimosas, along with the French Peasant (this was a meat and cheese board). The mimosas were light, fresh, and served in super cute mason jars. The meat and cheese board was arranged very nicely, and tasted amazing! My favorite was the creamy cheese on the bread, with some salami on top. Overall, great place to chill with some friends after work!

Came here during their Stella Artois chalice engraving event and had a lot more fun than I thought. Very chill vibes here and the perfect place for pau hana if you work in town. Only one bartender working the front of house and he was killing it! People are very friend here and easy to talk to. I love their decor and how they have our Hawaiian female ali'i on the walls!! I'm sure I'll be back!

The bartender was not friendly on trivia night. I want my money and tips back. I love Proof and her customer service was the worst.

I was looking online for food spots and bars in O'ahu and found this pizza joint that served cocktails. I saw that this place served fried rice pizza and mac n cheese pizza so I was instantly intrigued. This place is hidden in an alleyway off a small street so you may or may not have some trouble finding this place. It turns out that they can't do specialty pizzas by the slice which is a shame. They have some classic pizzas that they can do by the slice but the specialty ones on their menu can only be ordered by the whole. I ordered a slice of the meat and pepperoni pizzas which were both good. For drinks I ordered the keeper of her keys ($11) which the bartender described as a piña colada but not frozen. My second drink was the necromancer ($11) and both cocktails were good. I want to give a shoutout to my bartender Chrissy who was so nice and friendly! There is a pool table that you can play for some quarters so this is a place that you can come to for a slice of pizza, a beer, and shoot some pool with friends.

    Proof that I was there!

Tuesday night...we were at Bar 35, but wanted to keep going! 7 Pairs suggested we come here. I had never been, so why not??? Getting there is interesting because it's on a side street between Bethel and Fort Street Mall. You may also have to walk by some sketch people, but once you're there, it's a great little spot. Friendly bartenders and good drinks! A nice way to either start or end your night! Mahalo!

All the food at Proof Social Club is excellent, most especially the pizzas! The prices are good too :-) I've been here multiple times and tried several pizzas; the mac and cheese pizza was interesting, through I doubt I'd order it again. On the other hand, the smores pizza is totally The Bomb! Unfortunately, they don't make smores pizza slice pies very often; we just happened to luck out the last time we were here. If they happen to have any when you check this place out, be sure to get yourself a slice - it's completely awesome! We also shared an order of bruschetta and some meatball sliders, and enjoyed both our food with some good Sierra Nevada to wash everything down :-)

    How is parking?

Street parking is free after 6 if you can find it! If not, the municipal lot at Beretania and Nuuanu is super cheap, and the flat lot and parking garage at Mark’s Garage are both right across the street!

Wind and sheets of rain outside in Waikiki you'd never know that was happening inside the cozy interiors of the Blue Note. We arrived an hour earlier than 5:00 pm door opening but the line was already 25+. Construction is going on so you might need to climb the stairs one level to get here. Thank my lucky stars the elevator worked for me to get to the lobby. Have your tickets ready. I was hoping for a booth and we did get one off to the side. Placed our dinner order with Hannah. I told Doc if we spent $250 more it would be a 1K evening. We are eating prime rib and lamb shank plus pupu of poke nachos. I liked the taro chips since sadly I don't eat raw fish. Show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. this gives us time to leisurely enjoy our dinner. Although the prime rib was tough, the veggies were overcooked the tastiest item on the plate was the mashed potatoes. Our server was attentive and refilled our water. She was excellent cuz she took my credit card and processed the tab right then. The furniture in our booth shows wear and tear on the seats and backs. Nevertheless the ambiance is good.

We got free validated parking across the street at the Dole Cannery parking structure! We waited in the lobby of the Castle & Cooke Building where our Escort checked our names off the list and led us to the 4th Floor. Along the way, the walls were filled with portraits of previous performers such as Jim Brickman and Na Leo Pilimehana. Impressive! After walking around to what seemed to be the back of the building, we entered a large living room full of sofas, ottomans, barstools and tables. We were warmly greeted and invited to partake in refreshments of shrimp platter, croissant sandwiches, fresh fruit, pasta salad and bottled water. The Emcee, Kevin Jones of Star 101.9, kept things lively by introducing the band members, asking engaging questions , and adding interesting trivia. He really helped make this event a more comfortable and intimate one. My friends and I sat in the first row where we could check out the jewelry and shoes (and bare feet) of the band. We enjoyed watching them communicate through gestures and eye contact and how they pressed the buttons of the amplifiers with their feet! I truly enjoyed watching Ka'imi's fingers glide over the frets of his guitar so effortlessly. ..He's a very talented songwriter even though he sang songs from the Doobie Brothers, Prince, and the Pixies, too. I was also amused by his playfulness as he approached the electric fan which blew his long hair wildly around his face! We're grateful to be invited to the Oceanic VIP Music Hall. I'll admit, it was a little confusing to find at first, but after asking around, we finally made our way there and I'm glad we did! FOOD Lobster Gyoza Four delicious pieces served with gyoza sauce. Each one had a nice sized piece of lobster inside, and the flavor was spot on. The gyoza had that perfect savory bite, and the sauce brought everything together beautifully. Open-Faced Baguette Three pieces topped with creamy burrata, prosciutto, and sun-dried tomato pesto. The combination of creamy, salty, and slightly sweet flavors made these a really enjoyable bite. DRINKS Mojito Hands down, one of the best mojitos I've had! It was crisp, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. The bright citrus and fresh mint made every sip incredibly refreshing without being overly sweet. Definitely a drink I could happily sip on all night! Espresso Martini I normally don't order espresso martinis because, honestly, I haven't had many that impressed me. But THIS one completely changed my mind. Hands down the best espresso martini I've had! Smooth, rich, and delicious with just the right balance of coffee flavor and sweetness. I'd absolutely order this again. DESSERT Kona Espresso Tiramisu Of course, we had to end the night with dessert! This tiramisu was absolutely delicious. It came out in a fun, unique ball shape rather than the traditional presentation, which made it a little more interesting. The coffee and espresso flavors were rich and delicious, and every bite was so good. My only complaint? I wished there was more of it! All in all, a really good way to finish the meal. LIVE MUSIC Live music starts at 8:30 p.m., and who doesn't love a little live music with their cocktails and pupus? The evening featured a talented duo with a piano player and cello player, and they sounded fantastic together. The combination of piano and cello created such a beautiful, mellow atmosphere. It added just the right touch of elegance while still keeping the lounge feeling relaxed and comfortable. It really elevated the entire evening and made it feel like more than just going out for drinks and food. SERVICE Our waitress was extremely attentive and on point throughout the evening. She made sure we were taken care of without being overbearing, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Lewer's Lounge turned out to be such a great find! From the delicious food and seriously impressive cocktails to the attentive service and beautiful live music, everything came together for a really enjoyable night. And as far as date night goes, this place definitely gets my vote. Whether you're looking for a relaxed evening with someone special, cocktails with friends, or just a place to enjoy some great live music, Lewer's Lounge has the right vibe.

I have to agree with another reviewer that the French baguette served with the charcuterie was hard as could be and inedible. I did not enjoy the choice of cheeses as they were both of the same hard boring tastes, unimaginative, mix it up. They olives should be pitted. The tiramisu dessert was very delicious, even though very small, but expected--after all its fine dining. I have no other way to tell new manager to up their game in the food and beverage department. Just wouldn't expect Halekulani to slip in these departments. Also, manager never came around or was seen checking in his or her patrons, not very 5 star there. Just being honest. The complimentary valet parking was exceptional. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.
