Came here looking for a nice drink after spending the entire day at the beach. The place was a little hard to find since it's located inside a hotel, but once inside, it had a quiet, dimly lit atmosphere. The vibes were perfect, calm and not loud or crowded, which I honestly preferred. The drinks were fantastic. The cocktails were well made, and I was impressed by the thoughtful combination of flavors. Kudos to the bartenders. I got the Uncle China, which was a nice tequila-based drink. It didn't overpower the tequila, so I could still enjoy its subtle taste. My girlfriend got the Rub Up on My Belly, and that drink was fantastic. I would definitely recommend it. Somehow all the flavors worked perfectly together, and it was delicious.

Stopped by The Lei Stand Waikiki for a drink and absolutely loved the vibe. I ordered the "Rub Up On My Belly" cocktail, and it was so good, the yuzu soda paired perfectly with the guava jelly-infused Tito's, making it refreshing while still packing a punch. Definitely a strong drink, which I more than appreciate! The space itself is cozy and intimate, perfect for a laid-back night out or a pre-dinner drink. Service was quick and attentive, and overall is a great spot for creative cocktails with personality, would definitely come back

During our stay at the Romer hotel we decided to spend some time at this bar since it was conveniently located inside of it. The bar has an intimate yet inviting vibe to it. It's definitely cute and sexy and is great for smaller groups or a date. The bartender was really nice and helpful. I ended up getting one of their cocktails which was perfectly crafted and strong like he said it would be. We also snacked on some of their nori ahi wraps and some pineapple mochi cake with ice cream. All of which were good and off their special menu. We enjoyed or time there. It was a little on the pricier side but worth it with the ambience. I would come back again.

Cute little bar in Waikiki near international marketplace. Boutique hotel so inside was pretty cramped. Really yummy pupus and our waitress was so sweet!! She took really great care of us, recommended tasty cocktails and even re made a drink when we didn't particular enjoy the taste.

Cute little intimate bar with two sides, one being usually reserved for parties or events. Also has some delicious pupus you can order as well. Staff is so kind and fun!

I really like this place! I luv the décor and ambiance. The staff are laid back and friendly. And the cocktails are tasty. I went at 5pm on a Thursday and was seated right away. It was a hot sunny day outside, but once inside I felt transported to a flirty, tropical-chic lounge.

Was so hyped to check out The Lei Stand's new Waikīkī spot--used to be obsessed with their old Chinatown location. The new space has hints of the original speakeasy vibe, but it's brighter and the menu's smaller, so it didn't quite hit the same. That said, my mezcal-tequila Old Fashioned was yummy--super balanced and honestly the highlight. Also, the staff was super friendly and nice! I'd come back for the drinks, but hoping they dim the lights and bring a little more of that old magic back and vibes (can we have the djs come back? ) Great for: cocktail lovers, cocktail dates, a casual night out in Waikīkī.

This speakeasy is my new favorite! It is so cute inside and very easy to find! Parking can be a hit or miss but luckily we got a spot! Drinks were great and they have a menu but also you can order off the menu! Service was great, they were really nice and friendly! I will definitely be back

This was our 3rd stop on my birthday speakeasy tour with OnoliciousFoodTours.com. Our guide, Gladys hooked us up with the Aloha Platter (all vegan, all good!) from the adjacent restaurant, 855 Aloha in the Romer House Waikiki on Nahua St. We parked at Intnatl Mkt Pl and walked because our stops were in the vicinity. Neon lights, bomb vegan apps, vibe but I honestly don't remember what were drinking because this was our 3rd stop and the drinks were hard! ...BZZZZZZ The bartender went to werk with our party of 11. I plan on returning not only to The Lei Stand but 855 Aloha. Chee!

Classy vibey place for drinks and light pupus before your dinner or after your dinner, super good and creative custom cocktails incorporating a lot of local flavors. Definitely worth checking out whether you're vacationing or live on island. I think it would be a great venue for small parties too, renting out the place o

the new Lei Stand in Waikiki is cool, but the vibe just isn't the same as the old Chinatown location. The drinks are still great -- you can tell the bartenders put care into their craft -- but the atmosphere feels a bit too polished compared to the original's gritty charm and intimate energy. At the old spot, you could wander in and feel part of a scene; here, it feels more like a resort bar than a neighborhood hangout. It's still worth visiting for a solid cocktail and a familiar face behind the bar, but if you remember the Lei Stand from its Chinatown days, you might leave missing that old spark.

The Lei Stand is a new trendy bar in the Romer House Waikiki. The staff is professional and know their menu well, they make incredible recommendations and describe their options well. The music is by a DJ most nights and we attended during rap and reggae night which was awesome. Their wow lau lau drink which is like a chai espresso martini was to die for and hands down the best drink on the menu! Thanks for a great time!

Great new bar they used to be in Chinatown now reopened in Waikiki in the Romer House Waikiki hotel. Love the neon vibes in here and their cool menus they have. Drinks are also great and staff is friendly.

I'll admit, it was a little confusing to find at first, but after asking around, we finally made our way there and I'm glad we did! FOOD Lobster Gyoza Four delicious pieces served with gyoza sauce. Each one had a nice sized piece of lobster inside, and the flavor was spot on. The gyoza had that perfect savory bite, and the sauce brought everything together beautifully. Open-Faced Baguette Three pieces topped with creamy burrata, prosciutto, and sun-dried tomato pesto. The combination of creamy, salty, and slightly sweet flavors made these a really enjoyable bite. DRINKS Mojito Hands down, one of the best mojitos I've had! It was crisp, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. The bright citrus and fresh mint made every sip incredibly refreshing without being overly sweet. Definitely a drink I could happily sip on all night! Espresso Martini I normally don't order espresso martinis because, honestly, I haven't had many that impressed me. But THIS one completely changed my mind. Hands down the best espresso martini I've had! Smooth, rich, and delicious with just the right balance of coffee flavor and sweetness. I'd absolutely order this again. DESSERT Kona Espresso Tiramisu Of course, we had to end the night with dessert! This tiramisu was absolutely delicious. It came out in a fun, unique ball shape rather than the traditional presentation, which made it a little more interesting. The coffee and espresso flavors were rich and delicious, and every bite was so good. My only complaint? I wished there was more of it! All in all, a really good way to finish the meal. LIVE MUSIC Live music starts at 8:30 p.m., and who doesn't love a little live music with their cocktails and pupus? The evening featured a talented duo with a piano player and cello player, and they sounded fantastic together. The combination of piano and cello created such a beautiful, mellow atmosphere. It added just the right touch of elegance while still keeping the lounge feeling relaxed and comfortable. It really elevated the entire evening and made it feel like more than just going out for drinks and food. SERVICE Our waitress was extremely attentive and on point throughout the evening. She made sure we were taken care of without being overbearing, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Lewer's Lounge turned out to be such a great find! From the delicious food and seriously impressive cocktails to the attentive service and beautiful live music, everything came together for a really enjoyable night. And as far as date night goes, this place definitely gets my vote. Whether you're looking for a relaxed evening with someone special, cocktails with friends, or just a place to enjoy some great live music, Lewer's Lounge has the right vibe.

There's no: "Moonglow" (Benny Goodman) or "That was my heart" (honor to Ella Fitzgerald), so I asked for my favorite aperitif, "Dubonnet" , no. But, they came up with my other favorite, sambuca Mist. I have to agree with another reviewer that the French baguette served with the charcuterie was hard as could be and inedible. I did not enjoy the choice of cheeses as they were both of the same hard boring tastes, unimaginative, mix it up. They olives should be pitted. The tiramisu dessert was very delicious, even though very small, but expected--after all its fine dining. I have no other way to tell new manager to up their game in the food and beverage department. Just wouldn't expect Halekulani to slip in these departments. Also, manager never came around or was seen checking in his or her patrons, not very 5 star there. Just being honest. The complimentary valet parking was exceptional. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.

The interior was also well designed but I wish our group was sat in a different area of the bar. We got sat in this one corner and it was dark with like translucent lights, kinda like Jinx's lair from Arcane. Idk just wished we sat somewhere else with more light and visibility of the bar. The drinks were pretty good. It's a large menu and honestly I wanted to try multiple drinks but can't be getting all drunk and stuff you know the vibes. Also I know it's unrelated to this establishment but it's next to a billiards hall and that was legendary. Great vibe, great place, highly recommend.

Firstly, the vibes are IMMACULATE. 20/10…read more Wild Orange is a speakeasy hidden behind an old-school Aloha Maid vending machine. Apparently you're normally supposed to put a coin in to open the secret door, but it's broken right now, so the whole vending machine just swings right open. Slightly less secret, but still very cool. Inside is where this place really shines. Moody lighting, a giant orange tree in the middle of the room, Japanese hip hop playing in the background (I want to steal this entire playlist), and extremely cool and friendly servers and bartenders. I've been to a few other attempted "speakeasies" in Honolulu, but most are basically just dark bars with a fun door or code word. Wild Orange actually has the VIBES to make the whole concept work. Definitely worth coming just to hang out and chill. They have a full bar and an extensive specialty cocktail menu. Tried the Purple Dragon, made with ube liqueur and coconut cream. Very sweet--a little TOO sweet for my taste--but tasty and pretty. Probably should have listened to the menu and kept it as a shot, but I wanted something I could sip on for a while and chill. The Umeshu Highball was also very pretty and tasty. My friend who works as a sake distributor was impressed with their selection of good sake, so of course we had to order a bottle. Our server brought it out in an ice bucket, kept it off to the side, and completely served it for us throughout. Very classy. The food menu is fun and creative, but unfortunately not really for me because it's entirely vegan. Most times, but ESPECIALLY when I'm drinking, I want MEAT. Tried the Wild Musubi, a vegan Spam musubi. I'm not actually sure what the "meat" was. Possibly fried tofu? Whatever it was, it was definitely a passable alternative, but would have been 100x better if it were just plain old Spam. It also falls victim to what I find is a common problem with vegan attempts at Japanese food: anything teriyaki ends up being way too treacly sweet without actual meat or seafood to ground it in reality. Also tried the Char Siu Tofu Bao, fried tofu in a red Chinese-style char siu sauce on fluffy white buns. Again, fun and certainly not bad, but these would be 1000x better with actual pork. If Wild Orange had this exact same creative food menu but carnivore edition, this place would probably be 7/5 stars for me. That being said, I know being vegan will actually be a huge draw for some people, and I appreciate that the food is creative rather than just the usual sad vegan afterthoughts. Parking is pretty easy by Honolulu standards. It's inside Hawaiian Brian's, so there's a large shared parking lot. That being said, you might still have trouble finding a spot during peak gym hours since you're competing with all the 24 Hour Fitness customers. All in all, I LOVE this place. Definitely a fun stop--first, middle, only, or nightcap--on a chill night out. Will absolutely be adding Wild Orange into the rotation of places to bring out-of-town guests when I want to impress them with something cool and different. The vegan menu probably means it'll be a couple-times-a-year place for me rather than a regular haunt. But for drinks, service, atmosphere, and pure VIBES? 20/10.

That's a shame because it has the potential to be very good. When you start with a cocktail concept that is deliberately kept low key with no signage, and a drink menu that rotates and evolves, you have a pretty good floor to start. Having a cozy place to settle in and being able to enjoy food from Chris Kajioka should give 430 Pkwy a high ceiling. If you like an espresso martini try something a little different. Their Espressing My Love batches espresso with Averna, black walnut bitters, and a unique monkeypod syrup. Unfortunately, there is no espresso machine so you cannot get fresh drawn espresso to make a Carajillo the way Cafe Miro use to. The ahi brioche is a carry over from all Chris Kajioka places. The grilled cheese is excellent. Hotdogs are kicked up - it used to be a black truffled miso chicken sausage but the current one is a little different. The problem is the food preparation totally undermines the whole place. Without a separate kitchen you have frying being done just a few feet away from where cocktails are made. If you sit on the right side of the bar you will quickly understand why this doesn't work. I would come here more frequently if i didn't have to smell like cooking oil afterwards. Fix that problem and this place would rock.
