Don't misunderstand - it's not some high toned gourmet place. My five stars is for a very tasty and well made lunch served quickly and with a smile. The restaurant is located in the same building as the fixed base operation on the airport. It is VERY clean and tidy. They serve breakfast and lunch until 3 pm. My husband and I each had the bacon-chicken-ranch wrap with sides of onion rings. Yum to both. We will fly back! Not far from home. read more

This is such a cute restaurant inside the airport. Cute decor n theme for a small town airport restaurant. Very clean and the food was super fresh and tasty. The menu is kind of small and not a lot of vegetarian options but they tried to accommodate by adding no meat to a club sandwich. Very kind staff and the service was quick. read more

Ordered the chicken bacon ranch wrap for my wife to go. I was surprised at how big it was! We split it. At first it was okay but then the bacon tasted off. Like it was old. I ended up only eating half of a half. For $14 it wasn't bad if it hadn't been for the bacon. It came with fries that were good. My wife actually complained about the size of it, which I thought funny. She asked how she's was going to fit it into her mouth? I told her I'm sure she will find a way! LOL. There was no one in the dining room while I was there around noon. The carry out window allows you to see part of the kitchen and boy did it look dirty! We stopped in while passing through and were pleasantly surprised! Didn't realize it was actually at an airport until we got there. Stopped in today for breakfast and ordered the "spitfire" scramble. It was worth the trip. Scrambled eggs, chunks of ham, bacon, and sausage, topped with cheese and a side of salsa with toast all for less than $10. Yumm. This is a huge meal. Bring your hunger game. Cute little restaurant. Our GPS told us we had arrived when we still had a little ways to drive. It took us to airport hangars. Just keep driving down a little bit and you'll find it! Our waiter was very friendly and our food was pretty cheap. I had an omelet and coffee for less than $10. It's cool to watch the planes fly in also! read more

The wraps and soup are really fresh and choice. At times they have old aviation movies they show. Not the largest of places but very pleasant. Not usually crowded. It is sad that many have not discovered this place yet. They could improve their signage as this place is difficult to locate. read more

The airplane gang loves to come here. This morning three of us jumped in our personal flying machines along with friends and family and met here for yet another awesome breakfast. If you're coming by air you can pull up with plenty of room to park on the ramp right next to the restaurant. My go-to is the Hungry Man breakfast. It's three eggs, sausage, bacon, ham (maybe a side of Lipitor?), hash browns, and toast. You'll eat well and depending upon how many of your buddies eat this entree you might need a couple of extra feet of runway to get the airplane back off of the ground... The pancakes are awesome, too. The folks here are really nice and are always happy to see you. It kind of fills that void of small town hospitality that many of us have come to know and love! read more

Always a great fly-in lunch destination. Friendly staff, great food, and reasonable prices. Since it's located beside the runways at Branch County/Coldwater airport, the scenery is constantly changing with planes in and out. I'll definitely be back in the future! read more

Had a great dinner here today. Burger, fries, chips, chili, BLT were all great and the "chicken chunks" we got for the kids were a real hit (even for the adults). The BLT was actually a hearty size and good a meal. The restaurant was clean and quant. We will go back next time we are in town. read more

The portions are huge!! We went for breakfast on labor day. It was not busy at all. The food was really good. I had The Tank breakfast and my wife had the tank as well and my boys ordered off of the kid menu. It was all very good. Service was great, the owner is very nice. We arrived just after 11am (party of 2) and first were told breakfast service was over...okay fine we will order lunch. The menu looked really plain, nothing really stood out but we thought we were already there so no sense leaving (that was a mistake). We gave our orders and proceeded to wait. There were about 4 other tables occupied in the whole restaurant, so it wasn't busy. However, the cook was backed up on orders and yet still proceeded to take a break, seriously. We were trying be patient waiting for our order, when 30 minutes went by and we were told our food hadn't even been started yet, mind you I ordered a tuna sandwich which requires no cooking whatsoever. At that point we cancelled our order and left. The food that did come out to the tables around us looked completely disappointing, so we probably made the right choice by leaving. I don't know how they do it but they make a simple sandwich rise above the ordinary. Must be the freshly baked bread, among other things. The place is clean, airy and light. The food is excellent. Service is usually quite good, though once in a while, you get someone who isn't so great. The pizza looks good but I haven't tried any yet. I'll do so very soon, though. The windows overlook the airfield so you can watch airplanes when it's a nice day and people are out flying. The aircraft shows on the flat screens are enjoyable,too. Overall, a great place for lunch. read more
