Sometimes, I get the celebration cake for a dessert if, it's available on the seasonal menu. Almost $70 for lunch for 4, two slices of dried out, meat pizza from the warmer display, 2 of their posted specials which was an arugula lemon pasta salad with chicken and a canned drink. The girl on the register was nice, but on the struggle bus and even though there were many employees behind the counter, she didn't seem to want to ask for help which built up a line pretty quickly. The salads were just ok, not much chicken in one of them, maybe 5 small cubes. The pizza slices are not worth almost $18 when it's just a slice and a dry breadstick and no drink. All in all, this place was just ok, this was most likely a one and done visit for us. I usually stop by here for pizza or salad but today it was a quick stop. I went past the pizza line and directly to the dessert line. Service was quick. I wanted the boysenberry cannoli. I had been here earlier and came back specifically for this item. I am so glad I came back for it! I am picky about my cannolis. This one is one of my favorites! It is seasonal unfortunately. We have the meal plan - the single meal plan - and this is in our top five, it's delicious. The pizza comes with a big side salad - caesar - lots of cheese, just enough dressing, or breadsticks. The pasta bowl - choose your sauce and choice of meat. I usually get the pizza but the pasta is so good. I selected alfredo and chicken. I also like the long bench seating along one wall. I arrived at Prop Shop Pizzeria (Knott's Berry Farm) on Saturday (around 8:30PM). I arrived skeptical because my last two food experiences (ex: disgusting corn dog & dry sandwich) had left me jaded and untrusting. Prop Shop Pizzeria (Knott's Berry Farm) is located in the amusement park's backside by the Bumper Cars. Despite being evening, Prop Shop Pizzeria (Knott's Berry Farm) is very busy. There's a huge line. Thankfully, the line's path is well-shaded & well-lit with an outdoor roof with spinning ceiling fans. The line felt a cramped but comfortable. I waited 19 minutes to reach the counter. Staff is professional, quick, and welcoming. Staff helpfully explained my options and answered my questions. I especially liked how the food staff had clean, puffy chef outfits. I ordered the Pasta Bowl (free with Dining Pass). I selected Spaghetti Noodles, Alfredo Cheese Sauce, and Italian Meatballs. The food arrived immediately. No wait. It's served cafeteria style by staff. To my utter surprise, my Alfredo Cheese Spaghetti Pasta with Meatballs was very tasty! There was no saltiness, no wateriness, nor any strong overpowering seasonings. Rather, the ingredients tasted clean and light. The Alfredo Cheese sauce had a light thick consistency. It had a gentle taste with a light fresh melted cheese flavor. The noodles arrived plentiful. The noodles tasted clean despite having an inconsistent texture. Some were a tad mushy, but most of the noodles were springy and bouncy. And the meatballs tasted freshly made with a satisfying, nostalgic texture. These meatballs were well-seasoned while also providing that gentle bounce as it pushes lightly back as your teeth sink into them. As I ate, the world around me simply faded away. I felt genuine joy. Regarding the ambiance, Prop Shop Pizzeria (Knott's Berry Farm) is relatively-clean & well-ventilated with welcomed shade. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen. Although it's an outside dining area, it feels like a well-decorated interior that lacked walls. There's also plenty of tables and chairs. I felt very comfortable as I dined at Prop Shop Pizzeria (Knott's Berry Farm). Overall, Prop Shop Pizzeria (Knott's Berry Farm) is a popular location for good reason. I feel like having pizza and pasta as a dining choice has got to be the play for all theme parks. This one is Knotts' pizza and pasta stop. They have alcoholic drinks here, an express lanes for drinks and refills with a Coca Cola Freestyle machine, and the rest is cafeteria style. All seating and tables are covered and outside. There's always a couple of people ahead of me every time that that I go, but the wait is not so bad. Goes to show how much people love their carbs. Every time I've been here, I've only gotten their seasonal offerings for Christmas time, Halloween time, and during the Boysenberry festival. Some are hits since they're so easy to eat, reminds me of slightly better school cafeteria food with a twist (Halloween angel hair pasta a bit spicy) and the pesto pizza with the boysenberry drizzle on top. My misses have definitely been with the desserts since they're quite sweet. Our pumpkin tiramisu was barely edible and after a couple bites we had to throw it away. read more

The caesar salad is pre dressed and can't get it on the side and they put a lot of dressing on it. Some of you may like that for me it was way too dressed. The lines were not long but the service was a bit slow. Despite the movie style interior, the food here brought it down two stars. I got pasta with marina sauce and some of the noodles were hard and were chewy. The pasta had no flavor in it either. The prices were also ridiculous. Not our first choice for dining given the price and how far it is compared to the grand entrance. If you enter through the back entrance (which is sometimes open if it's crowded), then this place is right next door on the left right past the railroad tracks. The menu is simple and cafeteria like where you have a few meal options but variety of the meal. You can choose a salad, pizza, or pasta meal. The a la carte options are very few but given the price the meal should be sufficient enough. A whole pizza is 57$, it's a good option when you have a lot in your group. If it's just two or three (like we usually have) then the meal options are better. Outside is the alcoholic options, they have a variety of refreshments. Overall not a bad place for a pizza bite but we'd probably only come if the others are too long of a wait and we are near this place. read more

We spent a couple of hours at Knott's Berry Farm and needed some lunch. We have been trying to try new options, and decided on this Italian "cafeteria." When you walk in, you grab a tray and go down the line costing what you want. There is a very large "dining room" which is kind of like an outdoor room--like a covered patio with a lot of side walls. It is not a real indoor room, but it protected us from the cold, rainy weather that hit kind of suddenly. They have pasta, pizza, salads, c and desserts. There are seasonal choices, too. Right now is the "Knotts Merry Farm" menu, which included chorizo, mushroom, and pumpkin ravioli and birria pizza. We ordered the birria pizza, spaghetti with Bolognese sauce and meatballs, a Caesar salad, and breadsticks. Everything was fine for theme park food. The flavor of the birria was really good. We are season pass holders. This is not our first time here. We have the dining plan. We came on a Tuesday evening. There was a family before us. They didn't appear to be busy. Today the service was terrible! Maybe because there was only one person serving the pasta and pizza? She did not look particularly happy to be working. She served the family before us and stood there staring at us. How about "next!" It was very odd behavior. I told her we had 2 dining plans. She gave us our pizza and I asked for the garlic sticks that were supposed to go with it. If I hadn't of asked she would've just moved on. Again, that's not ok! They only have outdoor seating. We came for the Marcie's Alfredo Pasta Pinwheel that is posted all over social media. And it was pretty good. It's bread filled with macaroni and cheese, topped with Alfredo sauce. There's seasoning and roasted tomatoes inside also. Definitely a show stopper. Two people could share this dish. I also ordered penne pasta with Alfredo sauce. I skipped the protein. They have a plant based bolognese that I wanted to try, but it was made in a marinara sauce. I wanted Alfredo. All good though. These are everyday selections, yet others are available based on season or event. For me, best was penne with bolognese (either) with grilled veggies. But with Peanuts event, I chOse the rigatoni with spicy sausage & bolognese sauce blend ...... it kicks! So make sure to have drink available. Brand new Italian restaurante that opened August 2022. So clean inside and out. There is seating under the sun (partial depending on the time of day) or in shaded areas under the Walter Knott Theatre. Highly recommend ANY time. Pretty new Italian restaurant in the park that became one of my favorite places to eat lunch or dinner. The portions are great and the pasta dish is customizable in a sense of choosing the sauce, pasta, protein, etc., which is nice. All their sauces are well seasoned and tasty. Pizzas are especially good so I recommend you to try that at least. They also have wonderful choices of desserts including traditional Italian treats such as Tiramisu and Cannoli. The servers at the food stand are patient, nice and professional on what they do. As you go to the next station, they are already there to serve and move the line quickly. And, the whole time, they do not lost their smiles. There is only an outside seating and it is large area with plenty of seats and space. My friend and I were at Knott's this past Sunday. After watching the DJ Lance Rock show (located in Walter Knotts Theater), we decided to take a lunch break at Prop Shop Pizzeria (PSP) which was right next door. We splurged just a tad here... 3 slices of pizza (italian veggie, cauliflower veggie, BBQ chicken), chicken marinara penne, some garlic rolls, cinnabon cheesecake, and chocolate chip cannoli. All the pizzas were delicious... my least fav was cauliflower veggies... crust was a little soft. I didn't know that the name of the pizza is really referring to the crust... I learned something new that day. My fav pizza was the italian veggie... crust was thick and chewy. Chicken marinara penne was okay... nothing special... I ended up taking the rest of this home. We finished all the pizza though... no take-home there LOL. Garlic rolls were semi-hard probably been under the heat lamp for a while... bummer! Cheesecake was divine with the right amount of sweetness... yummy! The cannoli on the other hand was way too sweet... will not get this again! They have outside patio dining which was nice. We had some visitors at our table... flies that didn't want to go anywhere else. They just loved our foods. No one else was swapping at flies... must have been the sweet cannoli LOL. We just covered the foods with napkins. Now that I've been to the Boardwalk BBQ and seen their food items, I probably would choose them next time. Still glad we tried PSP though. Okay so this place is unique! Location: It's located deep inside of Knotts Berry Farm near the bumper cars. Menu: They sell whole pizzas, slices, and custom pasta bowls. They also have garlic knots and a few desserts. Now here is the thing with this place. For being inside of a theme park I didn't expect much. Does it have decent food? Yes. I visited Pop Shop Pizzeria at Knott's Berry Farm recently, and while the food was actually pretty good, the customer service was absolutely terrible--especially from who seemed to be a manager named Briana. From the moment we interacted with her, she had a rude and dismissive attitude. Our order was ready, which a kind young woman helped box, but instead handing us the pizza while we waited in line to pay, Briana came behind the young woman and refused to give us our food until we could prove that we had paid. Mind you she did not do this for any other family, only us. Even the woman in front reassured me and said they didn't make anyone else do that. She acted as if we were trying to scam our way into a pizza, which was both frustrating and embarrassing. Even after we showed proof of payment, her attitude didn't change. She continued to be condescending and dismissive, making the entire experience uncomfortable. Knott's Berry Farm is supposed to be a fun place, but dealing with Briana's unprofessionalism put a damper on our visit. Good food means nothing if the service is this terrible. If management actually cares about guest experience, they should seriously reconsider who they put in charge. I won't be eating here again. read more

We went to the information booth to voice our concerns, and they made it right. They even gave us a free funnel cake, it wasn't that great either. On Veteran's appreciation day at Knotts, vets and their guests (up to 6) got in for $19.00 each. The park was only 1/3 to 1/2 full (until 3 pm when the kids got out of school) and there was little to no wait for the rides and restaurants. We opted for the all day food pass which was an excellent option, and this was our second restaurant stop. My kids, who love cheese pizza, absolutely devoured their fairly big slices. The spaghetti with bolognese sauce and meatballs was good and the young man who helped us was very polite, friendly and enthusiastic. He actually appeared to like to be there (that's refreshing). The Caesar side salads had just enough dressing and the Buffalo mozzarella antipasto salad was delicious. I really wanted to try a cannoli, but it wasn't included with the pass, bummer. When we went to check out and get our arm bands scanned, the girl working the register seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else, anywhere but Knotts. So, you win some and you lose some. We were so impressed with the food, we came back on our last stop right before we left the park. The location, across from the bumper cars and around the corner from Pony Express was easy to get to and the dining area, which is outdoors but covered, is spacious and good for large groups. For pizza and pasta that didn't taste like fast food, this is a refreshing change to normal amusement park food.
