We also had a bottle of wine. Service was great and ambiance was Everything you'd want in a hotel bar. In the morning my husband and I had cereal and ate it in our room. I've been a regular since 2009 and seeing as how I work in the area, it's quick and convenient for me to stop in and get a coffee or breakfast or both. The coffees aren't like Starbucks however they try their best. The area is always clean and the staff is always super friendly and accommodating! Thankful for the customer service! read more

Located inside the Cerritos Sheraton Hotel, this small "restaurant" offers a small menu of pedestrian fare for lunch. I attempted to come here for dinner in the past only to find out they only serve a breakfast buffet and lunch. This is wise of them as there are a dozen chain restaurants nearby that serve better food than here at more reasonable prices. Just past the main entrance in the interior of the Sheraton you'll see a small "Grille 91" sign next to a small banquet room with minimal decor. I came for lunch and, as stated on a sign at the door, seated myself. My first choice for a table was covered in salt (both table and chair) so I chose another one. I quickly noticed my place setting only had a spoon. Looking at the other tables nearby I realized the settings on each table were bizarrely missing utensils - one had only a fork, another a knife and spoon and another had nothing at all. After ordering I grabbed a fork and knife from another table. I ordered a club sandwich and iced tea. The sandwich came out within 5 minutes and it was served on ordinary toasted bread cut into four sections. The deli turkey, bacon, tomato and lettuce - even the limited amount of avocado - were fresh. I was glad they were gentle with the mayo. The fruit provided as a side (mostly melon and pineapple) was also fresh. But this triple decker sandwich was stacked too high - I couldn't take a bite. I opened my mouth so wide I thought my jaw was going to pop. I tried squishing it down as much as I could. Impossible. So I had to deconstruct it in order to eat it. I prefer to just sit, eat and enjoy a sandwich rather than struggle with it and try to figure out how to eat it like some sort of puzzle. Having to take it apart made it messy and a genuine pain in the backside to eat. It was a decent sandwich but a bit bland and certainly nothing out of the ordinary...except for the price. You'd expect to pay more at a hotel restaurant and this was no exception. Club sandwich and iced tea with standard tip was over $20. Service was friendly and attentive. There was only one guy on staff but he adequately handled the four occupied tables with ease. I won't be coming back but if I were staying at the hotel I might try the breakfast buffet. Lunch and dinner would be better in all respects at any of the restaurants in the surrounding area. read more

Otherwise the breakfast buffet would cost $17 per person plus tax which is pretty steep for traditional continental breakfast (scramble eggs, sausage, bacon, potato, french toasts were empty, lots of fruits, oatmeal. After waiting forever for them to take my order I got a $16.00 Mac and cheese that was so disgusting. It had corn in it and was really bland. I couldn't even eat it. Huge mistake! Also, the seats and tables were dirty. It wasn't a lot of guests so I'm confused as to why they dont have time to do an occasional floor sweep/clean. Location. Location. Location. I keep coming back here because it a skip away from work and they make starbucks drinks. Granted there is an actual Starbucks but I would rather come here when it's across a small parking lot vs across the street. The worker there is friendly and for the most part they are pretty quick with service. They also sell food and pastries that are ok, nothing special. read more

Just came back from the Sheraton Hotel/Grille 91 watching the Laker game, and apparently, they have live music there every Thursday night. The band is a jazz group called the Art of Sax, and they played a very eclectic mix. They also sound very good and a few ladies even danced when their songs played. I highly recommend coming here for the live music and dinner or relaxing at the bar. They play from 5pm to 8pm. For Thursdays during the summer, the restaurant has special buffet-like deals also from 5-8pm, in addition to their regular dinner menu. Today's happened to be an all-you-can eat pasta buffet with garlic bread, roasted vegetables, salad and a drink all for $8.95! I felt I just had to share this gem with everyone. read more

Located in the Sheraton Cerritos, across from the Cerritos Performing Arts Center, this is a hotel cafe primarily intended for guests of the hotel. Went for Sunday Brunch after staying for a night at the Sheraton. Their breakfast buffet goes for $16/pp. Do I think it is worth $16? Not really. But service was fine and the food wasn't bad. Selections included: Scrambled Eggs Bread/English Muffins Oatmeal Fresh Fruit Homestyle Potatoes Biscuits and Gravy French Toast Bacon, Sausage This is worth considering if you're staying at the hotel and you want to eat something for breakfast without having to venture outward. Going on a weekend was good because the brunch was pretty busy. On a slow day, I'd imagine that food wouldn't circulate so quickly and it would be less fresh. If you are staying at this hotel and you want to venture outward, there is a Carrows down the street and there are several cafes within a mile . (Polly's Pies and French Baguette are my personal picks within that criterion). If you're content with bacon, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and oatmeal, then this is a viable option. It's worth coming to if your breakfast is comped, but $16/pp is pretty steep for what they offer. After the designated brunch time (11am on weekends and 9am on weekdays), they do have an a la carte menu. I haven't tried this, but they have a reasonable selection of offerings. Decided to go here for a 9 am breakfast for Christmas morning. Wanted to try something different and there weren't a whole lot of places open. It's inside the Sheraton, which is a nice enough hotel. There's a bar and outdoor seating although during breakfast I didn't see anybody out there. Others reviewed this place for dinner and after hours cocktails (I can see how it might be a decent place for that sort of thing). We had the breakfast buffet which had the usual fair, cereal, oatmeal, brown sugar, rasins, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, danishes, has browns, toast, yogurt, etc. $15 per person. It's a nice place to go but you could get a decent enough breakfast for under $10 at Denny's. Nothing special about the food other then that it's a buffet and somewhat nicer atmosphere. Weekend breakfast buffet: There was all this food that looks like it was sitting there for a couple hours...and the place was empty....and it didn't look like any one else was going to be having a late brunch, so.......... I ate an entire mountainous plate of bacon and sausage. And, a entire mountainous plate of eggs and potatoes. My friend being a petite woman had maybe a 10th of what I had...and some other healthy things =P She, was kinda in shock that i had killed all that food in one sitting. I would had camped out and finished the entire tray of bacon, but we had stuff to do. dang. Service was pretty thin. We had to keep walking around to get oj and water. This is gem in C-town, is a place to get down. Located inside the Sheraton Hotel, the best part is that they have $3 happy hour cocktails from 4-7pm. And they use premium liquor! Too bad I don't live in C-town anymore. read more

I want to preface this review with the fact that I am usually a fan of Starwood properties, I also want to add the fact that this particular Sheraton looked very nice upon entering. This is where my compliments end.. My old man took me to watch some performance at the Cerritos Performing Arts center and given that we were in a time crunch, we ducked into the Sheraton next door to grab a quick bite to eat before the show started. What we ordered: Poached pear and gorgonzola salad - raspberry vinaigrette dressing was overly sweet, almost tasted like raspberry syrup and it ruined the entire salad Appetizer trio (coconut shrimp, fried calamari and wontons) - coconut shrimp was drenched in some nasty syrup that made the fried crust completely soggy and prevented you from tasting actual shrimp. fried calamari was soggy and it disintegrated in your mouth which is a really disgusting texture for fried calamari to have. fried wontons had a filling with a strange consistency like samosas you order at indian restaurants, only they weren't good like samosas and tasted burnt and over seasoned Bottom line: when you know for a fact that you could've had a better meal with a microwave dinner, that's when you know that the food was crap. It seems to be a trend these days, to provide great customer service and serve mediocre food - THIS IS NOT OKAY. Stay away. read more

So my husband and I came here for dinner on Friday night, my girlfriend manages this restaurant so we got the VIP treatment :). We had just missed the dinner crowd which apparently comes from the Performing Arts center so there was more than enough seating. We had a bottle of wine at my friends suggestion, it was a malbec from Argentina. sure wish I got the name it was an excellent recommendation. We ordered some appetizers, duck tacos, tuna tartar and these mozzarella "poppers" (wish I remembered the name had a little to much to drink) ;). Not sure about the duck tacos, I am a little hesitant eating animals which are not the norm, probably would have been better off if I didn't know which meat I was eating. The tuna tartar was excellent, the perfect amount of wasabi and the tuna tasted fresh. The mozzarella "poppers" were delicious! I ordered the flat Iron steak and my hubs ordered coffee rubbed filet mignon. Both were so delicious and cooked to perfection. Mine came with chimichurri sauce...oh my goodness I could put that sauce on everything it was so good! We of course ended the meal with dessert of creme brulee and these little mini cupcakes. 5 of them on a plate. So cute and delicious. Had a delicious dessert wine and literally rolled myself out of there. I live 20 minutes from here and don't know how I made it home in my food induced coma. Wow I may have over done it but damn that food was good. Can not wait to go back and apparently this is a new menu so looking forward to try everything on the menu. read more

This nice lounge is located inside the Sheraton. Was here for an afterparty of my girlfriend's wedding. The interior is nicely decorated and they have nice tv's. The bartender knows how to make stiff drinks. Its a full bar, but they don't really have a wide selection of beers. No bluemoon :(. But I would come back with my friends if we don't feel like drinking at a rowdy bar and just want to grab a drink and relax. read more

I was recently there with relatives for lunch. I ordered a (whole) tuna sandwich because the menu only listed half a sandwich with soup or salad. I did not want soup or salad. However, when it was served, I was very disappointed. The two sandwich halfs were presented on a plate--plain and simple. No lettuce or tomato in the sandwich--only tuna. No trim of parsley or sliced orange with a twist on the plate. Absolutely no presentation, nothing to make the plate look appealing. One would expect better at the Sheraton! We stayed at this Sheraton and ate at the restaurant and bar several times while we were there because we got $5 off food vouchers for each day we elected to not have our rooms cleaned. I had a turkey sandwich and caesar salad for lunch that were very good. For dinner, we had a pizza, which was mediocre. The toppings and sauce were very good, but the pizza was undercooked and the bread was too doughy for my taste. The bar has a huge wine and cocktail menu. I had some wine that was good and reasonably priced per glass. The cocktail I had wasn't great, but there's plenty more on the menu that I'm sure are better. read more
