Date of Visit: 7/18/26 Time of Visit: 6:30pm My family and I celebrated my brother-in-law's birthday at this restaurant due to his recommendation. The interior of the restaurant was very old-school Italian with Italian themed decor (flags, posters, etc). It was rather dimly lit, but that's quite typical in most Italian restaurants. Our server was very on point. He was very funny, too. The dishes that my group ordered were pretty good overall. It's not the very best pasta we've ever had, but not the worst. That's the general consensus from the members of my party. The one dish that garnered the loudest disdain was the Linguine and Clam dish my younger sister ordered. She said the clams didn't taste fresh and were a huge turn off for her. I ordered the Filet Mignon Borghese and it was quite good. The sauce was very umami and the filet mignon was super tender. I also loved the mushrooms that were mixed in with the meat. If I were to return here, I'd definitely order that dish again. read more

We hosted a memorial luncheon for 36 people in A'Roma's private event room. Everything about the day was absolutely magical. From my first outreach, Adriana was very responsive and helpful. We reserved the date and time, and then Adriana helped us decide on a menu which included appetizers, pasta dishes, salad, meatballs, dessert and more. They also offered a full bar for the luncheon. We were able to do all the planning, etc. over the phone. The day of the luncheon, we arrived early and were greeted by Christian who was our main contact. He brought two extra tables into the room so we could set up photo displays, and quickly and seamlessly reacted when our headcount went from 30 people to 36 just minutes before guests were scheduled to arrive. In addition to Christian, Benji and Alondra ensured the comfort of our guests by offering drinks, refills, quick clean-up of table settings as we moved to the next meal offering, and many other kindnesses. Our guests commented not only on the beautiful room and the food, but on the friendliness and professionalism of the crew. A'Roma's private room is beautiful, and the afternoon was truly amazing. Tiramisu felt fresh. The staff was very friendly. Complimentary bread was good with the spread. Felt refreshing. Ambience was good. Outdoor seating would have been the best with lights. Maybe we lucked out on a not so busy week night, or maybe it was the timing of out meal, but it was enjoyable having the restaurant partially full with the ability to have a nice conversation. Friends took me here to celebrate my birthday. Restaurant located in a small busy center and decor of the restaurant is very classic and simple. The restaurant was very busy which was a promising start. Unfortunately, I was not too impressed with the dish that I ordered. For almost $50. I would expect better quality seafood for my seafood pasta dish. The scallops were minuscule, the fish overcooked and falling apart into small pieces and the shellfish were pretty dehydrated. In terms of taste, it was also not very memorable. Both the calamari and salad were acceptable, but nothing to rave about. Overall, not a place that I would return. If you want real Italian food with amazing flavor and a wonderful selection of wine, this place is it! We started with calamari, which was very lightly breaded, which we loved, and came with a sauce. It was good, but nothing special. My husband loved his sausage and peppers sandwich. I was craving a vodka sauce with shrimp and it was so good, however it was $42 for pasta and shrimp. Definitely a special occasion restaurant. Service was good, the restaurant was busy for a Thursday evening and I appreciated the low light, but not too low that you can't see. Today I finally decided to go to A'ROMA near my home. It was a long day for me to start my day from 2 in the morning until I finished my aqua class, home cleaning, and etc for the Summer. He was so friendly to explain about wine, appetizers, and pizzas.... I started first toasted bread w mascarpone cream cheese, ordered 12 inch vegetable pizza w extra pepperonis $5. Pizza crust was not thin like Napoli pizza, that is good point for me. Lots of veggies.... I chose Moscato sweet wine. My hubby got 3 chardonnay glasses. Tasty!! For entrées, I got spicy penne w extra grilled chicken $11, my hubby got lasagna. I loved spicy penne. Little kick, tomato sauce was perfect w garlic, EVOO. I tasted little lasagna, loved the creamy flavor, texture. Everything including the service, was great. I had a great time after a long day. The quality is real Italian. It's been a couple of decades since I've been here. My wife and I decided to try it since she's heard me talk about how long this establishment has been here. It did not disappoint. The ambiance is fantastic. The dark tinted windows kept the place nice and cool. Food was delicious. You can tell how everything was prepared fresh. The portions were generous. The big surprise for me was their tiramisu which I don't normally care for. I almost didn't leave anything for my wife. The service was good. Very friendly staff. Everything about our first experience here today was fabulous! We were fortunate to have Joey as our server and could not have asked for someone more knowledgeable, kind or attentive. ALL OF IT - from the beautiful restaurant, to the wines, to the Calamari Fritti appetizer, to the Rigatoni Alla Vodka topped with a breaded chicken breast that my daughter ordered, to the Filetto Capellini that I ordered - it was all phenomenal!! And then we had the Lemon Cake a la mode. OMG!! Hands down, this was the BEST lemon cake I've ever had. Look at the picture! This is my new go to Italian place, and I am driving 40 minutes to go to it!! My bestfriend and I ordered the rigatoni alla vodka, and it was delicious. The portion was perfect and made for some good leftovers. The sauce in the dish was perfectly balanced. Not to mention, the bread with the mascarpone and tomato spread, yummm. We ate almost the whole basket before our food came. Our waitress was very friendly and made us feel even more welcome. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received. This is not the Aroma I remember when the father was running the business. Since the children have taken over, the experience has changed dramatically. I called to inquire about making a reservation and reserving a private room for a large party. From the beginning of the conversation, Adriana was rude and dismissive. I was simply trying to get information about availability and hours, but her tone and responses made me feel like my business was an inconvenience. I have been a loyal customer for many years, but after the way I was treated on the phone, I no longer want to return. It is truly unfortunate because the father built a great reputation through hard work and excellent customer service. I hope management recognizes how much a negative customer experience can impact a family business and takes steps to improve before more loyal customers decide to go elsewhere. Update: Lol... it seems like you're letting your emotions drive your responses with these petty and unprofessional comments. Unlike the experience I had with you, I had a respectful conversation with your father, who apologized. That's what professionalism looks like. I'm not sure why you continue to rant. located in la palma's centerpointe plaza this restaurant has ample parking and a fancy, moody ambiance. i had high hopes for this place because the reviews were good and it looked a bit pricey but we were honestly quite disappointed with the food. the staff were friendly and it was otherwise a nice experience. Calamari Fritti Half Size if you know me you know i love me some calamari, and i appreciated that they sold a half size and a full size of this appetizer. unfortunately this calamari was quite overcooked. it was rubbery and so chewy i felt like i was chewing forever for one bite. Complimentary Bread honestly the best thing we ate in this meal, this bread was soft inside and crispy outside. it was served with butter and marinara mixed together which i've never had but it was so good with the toasted bread. Rigatoni Alla Vodka with Grilled Chicken Breast the noodles in this dish weren't perfectly al dente, but they weren't too soft or mushy either. the noodles didn't taste the most fresh or stand out to me in any way and we were a bit disappointed in the sauce. instead of a rich vodka sauce we were met with a very cheesy tasting sauce. it was more like mac n cheese than a vodka pasta and the dish was a bit light in sauce overall. most of the pasta dishes don't come with protein sadly, but you can add different kinds of protein for $8-16 depending on your protein choice. for this dish we added grilled chicken breast but it was a regretful decision. the chicken was thin and dry and tough to eat. Gnocchi Al Pomodoro with Breaded Chicken Breast again the gnocchi here wasn't anything special but it wasn't awful either. the sauce was flavorful and enjoyable for me, but again the chicken was so dry and not enjoyable to eat and the breading was barely there. i felt like i may as well have just ordered the regular chicken breast. also they tipped my plate over when delivering so please ignore the mess . read more

Although it was a pleasant dining experience I only rated 3 stars and here's why. Food - the food was tasty and flavorful. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese with meat sauce and Italian wedding soup. The spaghetti was really good with lots of flavor. The soup was not good at all. Very watery no meatballs and no pasta. Just spinach and cheese (I guess that's what it was) very bland no flavor at all. I would not recommend at all. I told our server I didn't like it and he replaced it with a house salad which was good. My sister had the lobster ravioli and my niece had the penne arrabbriatta with breaded chicken which were both very tasty. The issue that I have is that the entrees were overpriced for what they were. Now this is just my personal opinion; basic pasta should not cost close to $30. To add a protein was an additional $11 so you're paying about $40. That's quite pricey. The basic small house salad was almost $10. Service and Ambience - the service was excellent! Our server ( I believe his name was Joey) was very kind, friendly and attentive. A+ service! The ambiance was very nice , clean and elegant. The restaurant is located in a shopping center so there is ample parking. Again, my overall dining experience was pleasant, but the 3 stars are really based on price. Chicken was juicy. Not dry. Sauce tasted good...and lots of mushrooms..and I mean like half the plate. All the dishes tasted great. Pasta cooked al dente. Servings are just right. However, my 4 stars reflect the pricing. It's a bit on the pricier side. Their pasta starts at $27 and additional $11 and so, (depending on the kind of meat you'll add) to add meat on your pasta. I do think the sauce in the lasagna wasn't as rich as other places, and the layers were thin but it was simple and tasty overall. The same for the short rib dish.
