Review for catering at our school's Teacher Appreciation Week luncheon! The penne pomodoro, creamy pesto, and vodka rigatoni were all absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and enjoyed by everyone. The yummy garlic bread was the perfect addition too! We truly appreciated the wonderful food and highly recommend A'Roma for any catering event.

A delightful Italian dinner! Maybe we lucked out on a not so busy week night, or maybe it was the timing of out meal, but it was enjoyable having the restaurant partially full with the ability to have a nice conversation. Our waiter was great! All recommendations were solid. Our party of 4 ordered the following dishes, most of which we shared: Crab Cakes Salad Mozzarella Sticks Chicken Parm Lasagna Spumoni Ball Lemon Cake Everything was amazing! The best surprise to me was the lasagna. It's not a dish I would normally order, but this one was different and fantastic. A leisurely meal where we didn't feel rushed. Wonderful atmosphere. Great for many occasions. It was great that the small strip mall has plenty of parking.

Friends took me here to celebrate my birthday. Restaurant located in a small busy center and decor of the restaurant is very classic and simple. The restaurant was very busy which was a promising start. Unfortunately, I was not too impressed with the dish that I ordered. For almost $50. I would expect better quality seafood for my seafood pasta dish. The scallops were minuscule, the fish overcooked and falling apart into small pieces and the shellfish were pretty dehydrated. In terms of taste, it was also not very memorable. Both the calamari and salad were acceptable, but nothing to rave about. Overall, not a place that I would return. The service was nice thus the 2 stars

If you want real Italian food with amazing flavor and a wonderful selection of wine, this place is it! We started with calamari, which was very lightly breaded, which we loved, and came with a sauce. It was good, but nothing special. My husband loved his sausage and peppers sandwich. I was craving a vodka sauce with shrimp and it was so good, however it was $42 for pasta and shrimp. Definitely a special occasion restaurant. Service was good, the restaurant was busy for a Thursday evening and I appreciated the low light, but not too low that you can't see. We look forward to returning!

Today I finally decided to go to A'ROMA near my home. It was a long day for me to start my day from 2 in the morning until I finished my aqua class, home cleaning, and etc for the Summer. I was sooooo tired, burned out completely. My hubby suggested to go there to relax having some wine and Italian comfort foods. First impression was amazing. The ambiance of dining area is fancy, upscale, cozy Italian vibe. I love table cloth w fabric napkins, glasses, and silverware.....All the deco are antique vibe, antique piano, beautiful wine rack in the middle of dining area, and separate bar next to dining area. I felt I was in Rome. Reminded of my old memory spent in Rome when I was a student in Paris. Joey, owner's son welcomed us at the opening time, 4:00 this afternoon. He was so friendly to explain about wine, appetizers, and pizzas.... I started first toasted bread w mascarpone cream cheese, ordered 12 inch vegetable pizza w extra pepperonis $5. Pizza crust was not thin like Napoli pizza, that is good point for me. Lots of veggies.... I chose Moscato sweet wine. My hubby got 3 chardonnay glasses. Tasty!! For entrées, I got spicy penne w extra grilled chicken $11, my hubby got lasagna. I loved spicy penne. Little kick, tomato sauce was perfect w garlic, EVOO. I tasted little lasagna, loved the creamy flavor, texture. Everything including the service, was great. I had a great time after a long day. The quality is real Italian. Some menus are pricey but worthy to pay high quality of authentic foods, services, and ambiance. I told my hubby to come to celebrate our anniversary in August. They close Sunday and Monday. Our Anniversary is Monday.....what??? Thanks!! Joey!!! We really enjoyed the dinner with great service today. Strongly recommend A'ROMA Ristorante.

Everything about our first experience here today was fabulous! We were fortunate to have Joey as our server and could not have asked for someone more knowledgeable, kind or attentive. ALL OF IT - from the beautiful restaurant, to the wines, to the Calamari Fritti appetizer, to the Rigatoni Alla Vodka topped with a breaded chicken breast that my daughter ordered, to the Filetto Capellini that I ordered - it was all phenomenal!! And then we had the Lemon Cake a la mode. OMG!! Hands down, this was the BEST lemon cake I've ever had. Look at the picture! We were so impressed, we asked to meet the wonderful woman who makes this delicacy but Joey said his mom was busy doing the dishes! Bless her heart and on Mother's Day to boot!We are definitely going back to this family owned gem, because God introduced us to Mama Josie's Lemon Cake. Happy Mother's Day!

It was my first time visiting this spot and everything from the service, ambiance, to food was delicious. The wine selection is also on the more affordable end, with many options for those on a budget! I would return and try a new pasta next time. I got the rigatoni alla vodka which was delicious and a good serving size. The complimentary bread was also one of our highlights here!

Rigatoni a la Joey Gnochi a la vodka Clam chowder
    Jiliza N.

Rigatoni a la Joey: 3/5, pasta was aldente, pesto tastes herby but I feel like needed more flavor?, maybe a bit more creamy as well?, also I would recommend you add some type of protein because I didn't & it was pretty plain. Gnocchi a la vodka: 2/5... maybe I shouldn't have changed the pasta to gnocchi? I thought it would match the sauce but... not really! originally it was supposed to be rigatoni! but yknow what, I didn't really like the sauce anyways :( it tasted watered down? not creamy? needed a lot more seasonings for sure. Clam chowder: sadly it was not creamy enough for me!!! the clam flavor wasn't there either. I honestly want to give a big fat 5 stars for the service given here though. Please find Benjamin!! He's the absolute best & made sure we were well taken care of like family! This place was giving date night because of the dim lighting!

I found the authentic italian upscale ristorante near home. I waited for months until I really wanted to try for dinner. My wife is picky for the ambiance, service, quality, and location for the restaurants. She loved here! Antique vibe, classic ambiance w cozy, upscale menus. Our server, Joey, actually owner's son, he was awesome. Super attentive, friendly, welcoming. My wife and I felt relaxed, enjoyed dinner time around 4. I asked Joey, what time is packed then he said after 7 until close. We were lucky to have a great dinner around 4 to 5:30. We don't like too packed in dining area. The wine chardonnay was so good, my wife picked Moscato was good. She loves sweet fruity flavors. The toasted bread w mascaponi cream cheese was awesome. I was almost full because of toasted bread. Was soooo good. We ordered 12 inch veggie pizza w extra pepperonis. The crust was crispy, not like Napoli pizza. Loved pizza. My entrée was Lasagna, my wife got the spicy penne w grilled chicken. We both loved the foods. I can feel real Italian foods. Really comfort foods for both of us. Pros Quality, service, flavors: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars, mixed antique and classic, some modern vibe Bar: separate next to dining area, different vibe. Cons Business hour: Sunday & Monday closed Check the Lunch and dinner time I was so happy to find the authentic italian restaurant near home. I can't wait to taste other menus. Thank you! Joey!! Your service was awesome.

This was our 1st time here. The service & food was amazing!! We will for sure be back. The Carpaccio Di Manzo, Calamari, clam chowder is amazing! The Long Island was delicious!! We will for sure come back! We loved the service!! Alondra is awesome!!! Thank you!!

Gnocchi Al Pomodoro with Breaded Chicken Breast

located in la palma's centerpointe plaza this restaurant has ample parking and a fancy, moody ambiance. i had high hopes for this place because the reviews were good and it looked a bit pricey but we were honestly quite disappointed with the food. the staff were friendly and it was otherwise a nice experience. Calamari Fritti Half Size if you know me you know i love me some calamari, and i appreciated that they sold a half size and a full size of this appetizer. unfortunately this calamari was quite overcooked. it was rubbery and so chewy i felt like i was chewing forever for one bite. Complimentary Bread honestly the best thing we ate in this meal, this bread was soft inside and crispy outside. it was served with butter and marinara mixed together which i've never had but it was so good with the toasted bread. Rigatoni Alla Vodka with Grilled Chicken Breast the noodles in this dish weren't perfectly al dente, but they weren't too soft or mushy either. the noodles didn't taste the most fresh or stand out to me in any way and we were a bit disappointed in the sauce. instead of a rich vodka sauce we were met with a very cheesy tasting sauce. it was more like mac n cheese than a vodka pasta and the dish was a bit light in sauce overall. most of the pasta dishes don't come with protein sadly, but you can add different kinds of protein for $8-16 depending on your protein choice. for this dish we added grilled chicken breast but it was a regretful decision. the chicken was thin and dry and tough to eat. Gnocchi Al Pomodoro with Breaded Chicken Breast again the gnocchi here wasn't anything special but it wasn't awful either. the sauce was flavorful and enjoyable for me, but again the chicken was so dry and not enjoyable to eat and the breading was barely there. i felt like i may as well have just ordered the regular chicken breast. also they tipped my plate over when delivering so please ignore the mess .

Our entrees included Chicken parmigiana (8/10), veal parmigiana (7/10) , and bacon carbonara with shrimp (8/10), quite rich and creamy, but not goopy. All quite good. Nice that they have Peroni on tap, tasted fairly fresh (8/10). Veal cutlet portion felt a little undersized but chicken was hearty, and red sauce (both marinara and meat sauce) are deep red, slightly thick and pasty...not a light sauce. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal, except for the end (when we suffered a accidental water spill and had to mop it uo ourselves). Garlic bread (6/10) was pale and had no taste of garlic: just butter, salt and pepper. At least it tasted fresh and warm. We had spumoni (9/10) and tiramisu (6/10) for dessert. Enjoyed the spumoni but I would skip tiramisu when coming back: beautifully presented but all the art was on the plate, instead of in the flavor of the tiramisu. Ricci's has been around since 1944. But from the outside and inside, you wouldn't guess that. The building seems pretty modern, as well as the interior, a somewhat classic upscale vibe. I really want to like this place (I have a fondness for historic dining) and I look forward to coming back to try the sandwiches and the pizza, both of which look good.

The meal started out well with the Caprese, which was actually good. Next came our entree, the carbonara was even worse and by far the biggest disappointment of the meal--the pasta was so overcooked that the sauce completely dried up and turned into scrambled eggs. The "poached egg" on top was also completely well-done, so it literally felt like eating boiled eggs with dry, bland pasta. After that, they brought out our other appetizer, the stuffed mushrooms, which were also noticeably under-seasoned. Finally, the pizza arrived, which was decent, but it's pretty hard to mess up a pizza. The service just made everything worse. Our server told us right at the beginning that sourdough bread was coming out, but it never arrived--we only realized it after we paid the check. Our water glasses were never refilled once throughout our stay. To top it off, when the desserts were brought out, our server just dropped them in the middle of our large table without giving us any small plates and completely disappeared. Because we were seated at the large table, it was really awkward for everyone to reach and share. Since our server was nowhere to be found, we actually had to flag down a completely different server just to get small plates. Our original server only finally resurfaced when we asked for the check. Between the bland food and the total lack of basic service, we definitely won't be coming back.

Located in the same space at Bakers and Baristas, the restaurant was flipped into Luka in the evening hours. Dimly lit for a romantic vibe, the ambiance was warm yet approachable. What initially drew me to Luka was seeing photos of their Chicken Liver Mousse! The mousse itself is rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious! It comes on a croissant with a seasonal fruit compote (ours was blueberry). It's also so gorgeous! A dish that truly tasted as good as it looks. The next dish we had was the Grilled Oyster Mushrooms. These completely blew us away! Something about the use of agrodolce, garlic, fennel pollen, chili powder, and red harissa made the flavor so savory and complex. I've never had mushrooms prepared in this way before. I will really miss these! We also had the Brussel Sprouts with pork jus glaze, chicharron, scallion, and fresno. I really enjoyed the different textures from the ingredients, including the crunch from the chicharrons. We had to get one of their signature dishes, the Potato Situation! Crispy on the outside with potato and melted provolone on the inside, they give a very generous portion of parmigiano reggiano and chive dust on top. Such a fun dish to cut into! For our last dish, we got the Crab Pasta. It came with fusilli, a rich cream sauce, capers, and calabrian toasted panko--a great ending to the meal! I really enjoyed my meal here and hope that there will be plans to open up Luka again one day!

Very delicious, though the menu and flavors aren't particularly inspired. Hamachi crudo was excellent and probably my favorite of the night. Great zesty flavor, fresh fish. Beef tartare was very standard fare, albeit with a huge mound of chives (which I did enjoy). Portion sizes for both were bigger than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. If you're not that hungry, the appetizers here are sort of filling. As for the crab pasta: I liked it, but it's filled in with mainly shredded crab. I ended up taking it home and adding some frozen lobster tail, and that made it feel a tad more complete. Overall: Great for a casual but chic dinner.

I have a witness who saw me bite into the sandwich, and the hair was wrapped inside the deli meat as it came out. By coincidence, I also have a home security camera that captured the moment. The hair did not come from my head--it had a blonde tone from end to end, unlike my own. You also stated that I received an item for free because it supposedly didn't ring up. That is simply incorrect. My card statement shows that I was charged for both items. I understand that you've been in business for 26 years, and that's commendable. However, every business can make a mistake. What surprised me most wasn't finding the hair--it was your decision to publicly accuse a customer of fabricating the experience instead of acknowledging that errors can happen. My review reflects exactly what happened. Rather than attacking my credibility and integrity a better response would have been to address the issue professionally and focus on making sure it doesn't happen again. Do better.
