The taquitos had a unique sweet marshmallow purée that was scorched and complimented the sweet potato very well. Additionally, the set up was very aesthetic. The chicken in the banh mi was crusted with oats which was something new but worked very well. The meat wasn't dry and the bread was chewy although I wished there was more veggie or filling so it's not 80% bread. The service was decent and parking was accessible. read more

The food is amazing here. Salmon crudo is fresh, sauce has a little kick to it. Brussels sprouts are amazing, I want to come back again just for the Brussel sprouts! Lobster roll in a soft buttery bun. The braised short rib tender and flavorful, just fall off the bone perfection. The interior is lovely. They also have a nice outdoor seating area. We came here for my birthday brunch and the staff was so nice I would have given this spot 5 stars for the service alone. The Croque Madame is absolutely delicious. I thought the dish might be a simple ham and cheese sandwich, but the flavor was so phenomenal we barely spoke a word while scarfing down our meal. Highly recommend! The staff surprised me with a birthday song and the whole restaurant joined, which was so sweet. The salsa verde crema really enhanced the flavor and it was a good mix of sweetness from the sweet potatoes and savory of the salsa verde. So I came back after about a 1.5 year break since I was really craving their burger. As i looked at their new menu, I didn't notice my favorite burger on there (lots of tears)... but they did have a different burger. After going back and forth of whether I wanted to give this new burger a shot, I finally decided to pull the trigger. What the f. This burger was even BETTER than my previous favorite burger. Did someone say GOAT? It's a cheeseburger on steroids. The meat is so incredibly soft. Seriously though, go try it. I cannot describe the unbelievableness that I had eaten that night. What a great find! There are not enough words to put in this tiny box to express how amazing of a place this is. The food was extremely intelligent and surprised at every turn: sweet potato taquitos that were packed with flavor from the three salsas and whimsy from the toasted meringue, fresh salmon crudo served with an amazing sauce, and to finish a stunning chocolate ganache tart that completed the meal nicely. The quality of the presentation, tastiness of every bite was outstanding! Highly recommend trying this one out! Of course they also have a La cart menus but we decided to try their special and we are so glad we did! Ambiance is quaint and love the outdoor seating area! For lunch, my wife had the Gourmand Burger which included crispy leeks, cheese, tomato, basil and caper aioli. She loved it so much she would not let me have any! I ordered the Oat Fried Chicken Banh Mi which included pickled vegetables, jalapeno, cilantro, aioli and maggi. I used to live in Vietnam and I thought this was a great Banh Mi! For Happy Hour, I ordered a margarita and a friend who joined us for happy hour ordered a gin-based cocktail. Both were excellent. The prices for the dishes were reasonable and good value. The service was great: both our waiter and the woman who owns the restaurant were warm, friendly and inviting. The ambiance was relaxed and stylish: people ate here, socialized here and worked here. The ambience here is cute, but I was quite disappointed in the service. The party I was with had a reservation, so it's not like they weren't prepared for people to dine with them. Some people in my party got their brunch orders within 20 minutes, but for others it took close to 45 minutes. Things like pancakes or an omelette. I typically try to extend grace, but they never came over and expressed that they were short staffed or anything, we had to inquire about our food. By the time I received my omelette, half of my party was done eating. The food was good, but I'm not able to give more than 3 stars because of the service. Also, the parking is quite limited in the area. They have two assigned spots behind the restaurant, but the rest is metered parking that's only good for an hour. Some people in my party had to keep leaving to put money in the meter. I know it's not anything the restaurant can control, this is more of a heads up to potential patrons. Lastly, there was 1 single bathroom for women and 1 single bathroom for men in the entire restaurant and they were quite small. The women's bathroom did not match the vibe of the restaurant, with its over flowing trash and general dinginess. I was a little surprised when I walked in, if I'm being honest. Overall, the food was good, just be prepared for a wait and to circle the block for parking (or use ride share). read more

My experience at this place was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. From the start, the service was horrendous. We asked the servers for napkins, and after waiting for what felt like forever, they only brought two napkins for three people to share. We tried to get their attention again, but our requests were completely ignored. I decided to call the manager today to voice my concerns, and I honestly can't believe what happened next. She was incredibly rude, calling me a "bitch" and telling me to "f*** off." When I tried to explain the situation, she claimed our "energy" was the problem. We had never been to this restaurant before, and now I can see why it has such poor reviews. This place is far from what I would consider a "restaurant." The lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and toxic attitude from the manager left us feeling disrespected and unheard. We will NEVER return. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially when there are so many better options nearby. Try Lazy Daisy instead, better customer service and quality food for a fraction of the cost and you don't have to deal with any attitudes read more

The sauces on all items were so delicious!
