    Dinner room is very beautiful.

Very well done, authentic Italian food. My wife and I will definitely revisit this restaurant. Lasagna was surprisingly light and filling (if that makes sense) it was enough food to be full but was really easy to eat. Pepperoni pizza was so fresh and loved the Roman style bread making and cooking. My kids never fish their whole pizza including the crust. This pizza, they demolished.

Really good Italian food! We love the grilled calamari salad, the penne, spaghetti bottarga and the grilled branzino especially the spinach that comes with it. It was seasoned perfectly. It tastes just like the spinach at Madeo, but with a slightly bigger portion. They also have my favorite dessert from Madeo, Nonna's Cake, and it's just as delicious. Everything tastes very similar to Madeo, but at a slightly lower price. The service is excellent, and the restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

A nice Italian restaurant directly across the street from Cedars Sinai. Walked across the street and had a margherita pizza and Peroni. Great happy hour prices and service. Sat on the outside patio. Second time here. The last time I had lunch here I ordered the eggplant parmesan and it was delicious. Looking forward to visiting again snd trying something new.

My photos came out bad so I called and they said I could use two of theirs. But this is what we got.

Wow, is this place great. They have the best Italian food in Beverly Grove. There is nothing not to love. It is family owned and I think a guy named Cesare is the chef and owner. He is adorable. We saw him there. What a nice guy. This place is stunning inside and out. It is so very comfortable. Make a reservation, this place is now super popular. It is fine dinning and expensive so get over that. The service is just great. They have the best staff that go out of their way to keep you happy and comfortable. They have the best drinks--we had a couple. My photos did not come out well so I called them and they said we have two of what you had and you can use. I did. Better than mine could be. There is nothing not to love here. Their lamb chops are so great their veal scaloppini is great. We love their pasta and salads. Even their figs are great. Go there.

I came to celebrate my 3 year anniversary with my boyfriend. He found the most perfect place to celebrate our very special day. It's family owned and immediately when you walk into the space you feel so welcomed. Pamela the co owner of this beautiful restaurant immediately after sitting us down, offered to take a picture of me in my dress and also of me and my boyfriend. She was so sweet! We ordered the rosemary bread for an appetizer which was delicious specially drizzled with some olive oil. I ordered a red blend to pair with my bolognese entree, which paired perfectly! The bolognese was delicious, perfect on the salt and quickly disappeared off my plate unfortunately. My boyfriend ordered the Maitò which he raved about, and so did I. Not too sure what the sauce was made out of besides tomato and basil but that was one of the best penne pastas I have tried in the longest. Thank you for making this night such a special one. This place is one of one.

We decided to try Cesare because of the good reviews, and had a hybrid happy hour/regular menu dinner at the bar. Our favorite dish was the buffalo burrata salad with tomato and basil. The tomato's were sweet and acidic which is sometimes hard to get in the winter, and the burrata was from buffalo milk which gives it a nice tangy flavor. The other items we tried were all ok but nothing really stood out. The pinsa margherita was tasty but a bit disappointing because the crust was more like regular pizza than the light airy crust pinsa should have. The tuna tartar seemed like good quality tuna but lacked in flavor. A little salt or sesame oil may have brought out the flavor. The atmosphere is very upscale with a nicely appointed dining room. We were there early and there were only a few tables seated so it was pretty quiet, and you could easily have a conversation with your companions which was nice.

Dining at Cesare feels like stepping back into my study abroad days in Italy. From the moment you sit down, the owners personally greet each table, welcoming you like family in a way that immediately sets the tone--warm, unpretentious, and genuinely Italian. That feeling continues with the small details, like the olives and generous shards of Parmesan placed on the table as you're seated, just as you'd find in a neighborhood restaurant. The food itself is where Cesare truly shines. The ravioli--famously highlighted by Forbes--is delicate and deeply comforting, while the grilled calamari is perfectly tender with a subtle smokiness. The shrimp scampi is rich and mouthwatering without feeling heavy, and the pasta Bolognese delivers that slow-simmered depth that only comes from doing things properly. What makes it all even more special is that every dish is made to order. Nothing feels rushed or pre-prepared--each plate arrives with intention, reinforcing that same slower, more meaningful pace of dining I remember from Italy. Cesare doesn't try to reinvent Italian food--it simply honors it. And in doing so, it brings you right back to the kind of meals that linger long after the table is cleared.

I've gone several times for lunch. Wonderful quality food with exceptional taste, and a reasonable price. Excellent service. I highly recommend it.

Friendly welcoming service, delicious dishes and such a romantic vibe! Checked off all the boxes. Hubby and I had a fantastic dinner. We started with a fresh baked focaccia half garlic and half rosemary equally fantastic. He had the Bolognese and I lucked up on their Lasagna special. We've spent many a night in Italy so this felt like we were transported right back. Everything was exquisite. So much so that I did something I rarely do -- forgot to take pictures of our entrees! I guess we were too caught up in the moment and taking it all in.

Came here last night for the first time. Had been wanting to try it out after walking by last week, and also hearing the owner Cesare used to own Madeo. Was greeted by Cesare and his wife Pamela, and had an incredible experience. The food was delicious -- got a salad, ravioli and branzino with tomato sauce. Our waiter Gilberto was so nice to, we really vibed. Said he's been working for the family for 25 years. Overall, super grateful we found this place. Will definitely be back

I am a bit late to the party eating at Cesare. But I am now a fan The restaurant is a perfect size with an inviting dimly lit decor. The bar is populated with wine bottles as they await their liquor license. Which is why I question the reason for such a high $50 corkage fee However the service and the food were all top notch. Our server was Philipo who was professional, personable and attentive When we first got there, the restaurant was 50 percent full at 7 pm. By 8:30 pm every table, the bar and outside tables were packed Here is what we had We started with the focaccia pinsa bread and pear & cheese pinsa that were delicious. I recommend the pear pinsa The artichoke salad was one of the best in the city although a bit small on the portion side The meatballs were addictive and I soaked the pinsa in the well balanced sauce The pesto gnocchi sauce was great but not a huge fan of gnocchi Linguini with clams were cooked perfect and the sauce and clam sauce were bringing me to the east coast shores with every bite. The clams were a decent size for west coast restaurants- not tiny manila clams that have no business calling themselves clams. The mushroom risotto was loaded with umami and I loved the nutty yet creamy texture of the risotto The Branzino was one of the best in the city. Fresh and the piccata was almost infused into the fish There were vegetables too. Spinach and green beans that were farm fresh and clean All this food and $50 corkage fee for four people before tip was $350. This is a great place for a birthday or anniversary, unless you are loaded- then go once a week! I will be back and recommend you try Cesare as well

You could almost miss it from the street as it's kind of hidden which is definitely part of its charm. About a century ago it was a studio for silent film star Charlie Chaplin and later a library for Sherman, which was the name of West Hollywood before it was incorporated. So this is a beautiful and historic location with a fascinating history, V Wine Room serves about 30 different wines by the glass and a large selection by the bottle, mostly small California wineries from the Napa Valley. The menu also features sparkling wines, natural wines and sakes from small Japanese producers. They have food to accompany the drinks as well: delicious Roman-style pizzas, cheese boards and charcuterie, fish and even chocolate. I've always managed to find free parking on side streets just up the street like on West Knoll for a couple hours, but there's also valet parking right in front and a city parking lot about a block west

I didn't make it here until March 2026 and after my first visit, I'm sorry I didn't come earlier. My husband and I came here on a Sunday night, with a last minute reservation I'd made on Resy. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we came in around 5:30ish. A lot of the tables were empty. They had both indoor and outdoor dining available, but the majority of the seats were indoor. The ambiance here is dark and chic, it reminded me very much of restaurants in NYC. It would make for a good spot for a date night or girls' night out. We made it here in time to order one thing from their happy hour menu, the tater tots. These were heavy but moreish, it was hard to stop eating them even when my stomach was telling me I was full. We also shared the corn, which I believe may have been a special/seasonal dish. It will go down as one of the best corn dishes I've ever eaten in a restaurant. My husband got the burger for his main and I got the mussels. The mussels were pretty fresh and silky, and were overall excellent, but I didn't love the broth they came in. My husband's burger was fantastic. It's one of the best burgers I've eaten at a restaurant in LA. Service was lovely and efficient. Met Him At A Bar seemed like a good option, and one of my girlfriends made a reservation for four. Our reservation was at 7:00 PM. I street-parked and walked to the restaurant, where one of my friends was waiting outside. I asked why she wasn't sitting at our table, and she told me that our table was right by the entrance. She didn't like that spot and thought the tables farther inside looked much more comfortable and cozy. Since people were sitting at one of those tables, she wanted to wait until they left. Personally, I thought the table by the entrance was perfectly fine, but I was also STARVING! Another friend arrived and also disliked the table, so we decided to wait. After a while, I was getting way too hungry, so we sat at the bar and ordered an appetizer and drinks while waiting. I first ordered the Garlic Shrimp and asked if it was spicy. I was told it was, so I asked if they could make it without the spice because I can't eat spicy food. He said he would check with the kitchen, but since I was starving and it sounded like it might take too long, I changed my order to Garlic Bread. One of my girlfriends ordered a glass of wine, and since she had made the reservation and gone through the trouble of arranging everything, I treated her to the wine and garlic bread. Then, of course, our friend who is ALWAYS late arrived about 30 minutes late! By then, the rest of us had already decided what to order from the Dine LA menu. We wanted to try as many dishes as possible, so we ordered different items and shared everything. When our late friend arrived, we ordered his dishes separately. For the first course, we had Caesar Salad, Bruschetta, and Meatballs. For the second course, we ordered Rigatoni Vodka, Cacio e Pepe, and Margherita Pizza. For dessert, everyone ordered Tiramisu. Overall, I thought the food was good. My favorites were the Bruschetta, Meatballs, Rigatoni Vodka, and Tiramisu. The Cacio e Pepe was not my favorite because I thought they used way too much black pepper, and my other friends agreed. Our group had mixed reactions overall. Except for one person, the other two felt the food didn't quite live up to their expectations and were somewhat disappointed. But everyone's taste is different, so I completely understand. Considering how expensive everything has become these days, I thought the Dine LA price was pretty reasonable. It was $45 per person, and with tax and tip, it came to $60 each. For that price, I thought the amount of food and the overall experience were pretty good. I also really appreciated how friendly and attentive all the staff members were. I usually don't drink alcohol, and especially when I'm driving, I NEVER drink--not even a sip. That has been my personal rule for decades. So I just ordered water, and I loved how the staff kept coming by and refilling my glass whenever it got low. I drink a LOT of water, so I really appreciated their attentiveness. Now, about parking: valet parking is $17. I decided to street-park instead. One of my friends also street-parked, but unfortunately she got a parking ticket and was VERY upset. I had originally found a spot where a sign said a parking permit was required, so I decided not to take the risk and moved my car. Before leaving, I asked a man walking his dog if it was okay to park there. He said he had seen many cars parked there and they had been fine, but I still didn't trust it because the sign clearly said permits were required. I told him, "I don't think that's allowed." He was very nice and suggested going about three blocks farther, where there was plenty of street parking without a permit. I followed his advice and parked there. Unfortunately, my friend who stayed in the permit-only spot ended up getting a ticket. Another friend parked in the parking structure across the street and said it cost $18. Since I had parked farther away and didn't want to walk alone at night, I asked him to drop me off at my car after dinner, and he kindly did. So my parking recommendation is to use the $17 valet or street-park about three blocks away where no permit is required. I definitely would NOT recommend parking in the permit-only spaces unless you want to risk getting a ticket. One of the funniest things about this neighborhood is the restaurant names. The restaurant we went to is called "Met Him At A Bar," and literally right across the street is "Met Her At A Bar." There's also another restaurant called "The Night We Met." I have to say, the names are pretty creative and definitely make this neighborhood more fun! Overall, we had a fun evening together, and for $60 per person including tax and tip, I thought it was a pretty decent Dine LA experience.

Daisy was literally the sweetest we've come across in a long time in terms of Customer Service not only was she attentive, but she was caring. She was very much involved and just array of sunshine. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy honestly it felt like she was one of the girls. We all had an instant connection and almost felt like we were friends. We shared a lot of laughs and stories and I don't think I've had an experience like that before she's special. Everyone in the party loved her and honestly wanted to take her with us We were a party of 10 so she definitely had her handful but she took care of us and we love her for that. She definitely helped in celebrating this special moment. I also would like to give a shout out to Raymundo one of the other workers that helped us in a bachelorette dare to find someone to serenade the bride to be and he's sang this beautiful Spanish ballad. It just was an overall sweet experience and I thank them for helping us wrap this special day in a bow! As for the food delicious the charcuterie board is sooooooo good. Oh my goodness the oven baked brie bread with truffle on it blew my mind. I would honestly come back here and just eat that all day but because our experience was so amazing especially with Daisy I would definitely come back with my crew just to see her again.

I happened to be making an early morning delivery down the street at Allo and had always been curious about Wally's $39 lunch prix fixe menu. Honestly, it sounded almost too good to be true. I walked in right when they opened at 11:32 a.m. and grabbed a seat at the bar. My bartender and server, Shaline A., absolutely made my day. She was warm, welcoming, attentive, and provided genuine hospitality from start to finish. I started with the Caesar salad (with anchovies). Personally, I think a traditional Caesar should always have anchovies they're part of what makes it so special. For my entrée, I had the dorade fish], and it was beautifully prepared. Every bite reflected the quality and attention to detail that Wally's is known for. To finish, I enjoyed the cheese plate featuring a truffle cheese that day. Let me tell you... A+! It was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. From the service to the food and the overall experience, Wally's exceeded my expectations. The $39 prix fixe lunch is an incredible value for the quality you receive. I highly recommend stopping by, and I'll definitely be back.
