This was my second time coming to the location, the first time was for an O2 Sensor which the welder took great care of the issue. I then went this time for my beater truck which needed some strut towers installed the old ones were rusted. Let me tell you the price was unbeatable and they completely my car in a matter of days. Also the lady at the counter was so nice and friendly, makes you feel right at home. Let me tell you I will be coming back for all my automotive needs!

Bought a used car of an auto body repair place in the same complex as Owings Automotive. The…read moreseller recommended for a MD state inspection so I agreed. It passed MD state inspection with flying colors. No issues. I knew the tires should have failed because the tread wear indicators were exposed at the same level as the tread itself. I let that go because I had negotiated a price that would allow me to buy new tires. When the tires were being put on the garage called and told me it needed new brakes all around. The front should have never passed MD state inspection, metal on metal on the right side pads. The left side was at the minimum. The rotors also needed to be turned. The back brakes were at the state minimum so nevertheless they passed as expected. Be aware of this place.

Eddie is very approachable and friendly and was willing to work with me and the insurance company to get the custom headlights on the car repaired properly, which I apprecated. Unfortunately, it took over 6 WEEKS and lots of missed promises and several blatant lies from Eddie and Cindy for this repair to be completed, which even bearing in mind the slight complication of finding the right parts to match what was on the car, is pretty ridiculous. The insurance company even cut off the rental car and the shop had to pay for the last few days. I would have accepted this delay if the workmanship was excellent. Unfortunately, the car was dirty when I picked it up, they had not refilled the AC which I immediately noticed was not working and had to wait longer, and the car was still quite dirty even after a quick cleaning by the staff. I had to pay to get a real detailing done later. They also ordered the wrong headlights but did make another small change to the car to make them match, with my permission, which was ok. But the most disappointing is the sloppy work on the paint. I've attached one example of how carelessly and poorly done the paint is... see the giant glob dripping down the door? Lots of dust and other contaminants in the rest of the paint. I think Eddie would probably fix it but I would have to go back and ask for yet another correction and I'm so sick of dealing with this problem and shop. Especially since it's 35 mins (took me an hour one of the times because of traffic) away from where I live in DC.

I have brought both of my cars here for repairs and they are good on the warranty. I got the transmission fixed in one of my cars and after repair it slipped a couple of days later. I had it towed in again and it was fixed free of charge. Not all mechanics are as honest. My second car was a Hyundai Sonata I brought in due to my oil light coming on. They gave me a oil change and then my car was ok. 2 days later my engine died and I got it towed back to them. They did some research and noticed my car engine was recalled. They recommended I take my car back to the Hyundai dealership. And I did and ended up getting a NEW engine. I'm telling this story because if it wasn't for them I would have been out of a car and just took it as a loss. I am so grateful for them. And I always come here when I have issues with my car. They are honest and the price is always reasonable and the work is under warranty if you purchase the parts through them. So glad I found them :-)
