Dr. Ngo is very knowledgeable and good at her work. I admit she got my gums better and educate me on how to brush and take care of my teeth properly. But there were few things that I didn't quite like. I found out that deep cleaning would only cost around $400 with other dentists. And Dr. Ngo charged $1k because she's using laser. Which I found out at a new dentist that it didn't really heal my gum. Dr. Ngo said I had few cavities here and there. And 2 other dentists I went to said I had NO cavity. Another thing, Dr. Ngo was very concerned with my 2 fillings and insisted that I do root canal and crown (which would cost $3k even with the insurance). I went to my mom's dentist and this other new dentist and both of them said my teeth have no problem!! Lastly, Dr. Ngo said no orthodontist would take me when they look at my teeth but hey, I'm on the 4th month now wearing braces. In conclusion, many of her diagnoses were misleading and inaccurate.
