Empanadas - Chicken and Beef - $4.89 each - The pastry is flakey and filled with delicious meat. Unfortunately, they were out of the pulled pork with mango BBQ, so we tried chicken and beef. Both were excellent, I wouldn't rank one above another. It comes with a side of garlic cilantro sauce, and it's to die for. Yeah, they aren't cheap, but holy hell they are fantastic. I've never had an empanada that I thought, "Hey, I'd buy this again," until now. Seriously, this is a must try. 5/5 stars. Tres Leches Cake - $5.99 - Here again, same thought, "I never had a tres leches cake I'd ever buy again," until now. This was really good. The cake held up on its own, and the milk was sweet but not overly sweet. Hubby said this was the best tres leches cake he has tried, and I definitely agree with that. 5/5 stars. Senoritas - $5.69 - Now, I didn't realize how sweet this pastry was. When we arrived, there wasn't much left to choose from in the dessert case, so we picked the two left in the case (this and the tres leches cake). This you NEED to pair with coffee. It's good, but overly sweet. It would have been nice to have a warning that we should be buying coffee with it. I picked the chocolate flavor, and it would have worked really well with coffee. The other two flavors were espresso and vanilla. 4/5 stars. Service is always friendly. Ambiance is still nice. There's some board games for people to play in the back of the restaurant. My only concern is that the tables are a little sticky. If someone could just clean the tables more often, that would be great. You need to come here. You don't want to miss out on this place.

We enjoyed a fresh salad, several delicious tapas tastings, the most wonderful cheese cake in years, and tasty wines and beverages all for a reasonable price given what we ordered. We went on a Sunday and they were not busy, which is shocking with the high level of food flavor happening here. We had the olive oil and bread, pattatas bravos potatoes, meatballs to start for starters. The olive oil and bread dip was fresh and bursting with flavor. The meatballs were different than any I've tasted but delicious. The saffron in the meatballs elevated it to another level. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and delicious! We then had steak skewers and crab cake sliders. Again very tender, flavorful, and fresh! We wrapped it up with cheesecake (best I've ever had), crème brûlée, and raspberry ginache. The raspberry ginache had multiple layers of flavor, crunch and creaminess. The entire meal was outstanding! Service was perfection! If you have not eaten here it is a must. Cost was also very reasonable and in my opinion cheaper than chain restaurants but 1,000 times better. It was so good we forgot to take pictures.

We sat at the bar and were very well taken care of by Christian, who provided excellent service from start to finish. I decided to order the empanadas, guac, and churros from the happy hour menu. Everything was $5/each. I went with the steak empanadas, cuz unfortunately you can't mix and match flavors. For me, the texture was a bit off. Christian noticed my hesitation right away and kindly offered to replace them. He brought out the chicken empanadas instead, and they were much better. Not phenomenal, but enjoyable. My classic margarita was refreshing... until the manager offered me a sample of the Carriage House margarita. Whew! Yaaaass! That was deliciously potent! Easily two drinks in one, so pace yourself. It has officially become my new go-to leaded bev when dining here. If paella is your thing, I'd absolutely recommend it. That's usually my standard order. But just a heads up... sometimes it can be a lil like my friend when my outfit is cuter than hers - salty! So, you may find yourself needing another margarita to help balance your palate. And don't forget to add to your Cunningham rewards!!!! 1000 points equals a $100 gift card.

I order guacamole, but also tried the ceviche and cauliflower - all good! I was impressed by the ceviche. I got the taco salad for my entree. It was just okay for me. I didn't see a lot of meat, so I lost interest pretty fast. I'd try something else next time, but no complaints overall.
