Well, I'm bummed because it looked like a great go-to coffee shop a few months ago and now this is the second time we had to wait 40 mins (!) for our coffee and pastries. They had one employee working with about 10 customers in the store ordering drinks while I was there (not sure if there were more sitting downstairs, but if so they hadn't recently ordered). So I waited 15mins plus for a couple lattes after ordering. When the employee got me my drinks, she had forgotten I had ordered two drinks so at first wouldn't give me both. But also she confused which drink was which. This wasn't a huge deal, my boyfriend just got a sip of unexpected lavender...but considering she thought the drinks were for separate orders that could have been concerning. The drinks were ok. The coffee itself is very good. I didn't realize they used ground lavender instead of oil/flavoring, and I wasn't a huge fan of lavender bits. But some people may like that. Lastly the worker was wearing a thin sheer scarf as a face covering, which made me uncomfortable. This is one of the coziest coffee shops in the Sobro area. For more hustle and bustle, pick a seat upstairs. For a more cozy, intimate setting, head downstairs. The coffee is always good and they have a nice selection of snacks if you've got the munchies. Definitely stop by for a pick-me-up if you're in the area! read more

Couldn't be happier to have a coffee shop within 2 blocks of my front door. I attempted to visit twice and came too late in the afternoon on both attempts. Then, the hours were extended to 4pm (yay!) and I made it! I have tried a latte and it was great. They serve an assortment of local coffee roasters in the drip bar, and their chai is AMAZING. Made by the master from SoBro Cafe, and it is everything good about chai. Not too sweet, but full of spice and flavor. The baristas are friendly, and I've been very pleased that there are always people there chatting, working and otherwise enjoying the chill vibe. We have made a new little Sunday afternoon tradition of stopping in for a chai on a long stroll- and we love it. read more

This is an atmospheric place to grab a great cup of coffee. If you enjoy big chairs and comfy seats, this place is a real winner. The iced mocha I had was also top notch. It was a little bit hard to park, and I could see it being a little crowded with a few too many people. The pastry I ordered was also good, but not great like the coffee. So excited to have this coffee shop in my area! The atmosphere was really unique and eclectic. They even have a little kids area downstairs for little ones. There is a ton of seating space. Tried the "Miel" latte consisting of honey, cinnamon and nutmeg. Very smooth and pairing it with oat milk was definitely a great recommendation by the barista. Latte was great, can't attest to the drip or pour over though. Outside of the menu I would say the environment was super chill. This location is prime for a true coffee shop, thus definitely filling a void in area. Drip coffee is by local roasters limelight and circadian, both decent. The espresso drinks are what this place specializes in and collectively are better than drip options. They make their chocolate ganache for mochas and vanilla syrup for vanilla drinks. Vibe is middle of the road for coffee shops in city. Two stories and kid friendly. No cold brew that I saw on menu but it is winter and thus option was not pursued heavily, so will check back. Main issue was the wait. Took around 15 mins after ordering to get latte made. I think this is natural growth and will improve with a few weeks time of being open. Staff very friendly. They have multiple tea options as well as your typical drip coffee and latte, etc. selection. The staff are kind, and the shop is community oriented, even having a "have a drink on us" sign near the register for those who forgot their money or aren't able to pay. Wifi is free and there are tables for those who need to get their work done. Outdoor seating is also available and something I'll be taking advantage of once the weather starts warming up! I had to try this local coffee shop after hearing such great reviews from my friends at Butler. This place has been on my list for awhile and I finally went for a study session on my day off. The whole aesthetic is eclectic and cute, which made me want to sit in one of their comfy corners and study for hours. I love that there are multiple floors, and customers can sit in a new location with completely different decorations on each visit to this unique spot. Now the coffee... Amazing! I'm no coffee expert, but I have a feeling the people at Prufrock really know what they're doing. The coffee I tried was full of flavor and extremely caffeinated, which I always appreciate as a busy student. They offer several rotating coffee options so I'm excited to try something different next time I come in. I also can't wait to try the food! I did not realize they offer small breakfast options so I will definitley be back with an empty stomach. Another highlight of my visit was the staff. I wish I got a name of the person I spoke to because they were so attentive and I could tell they enjoyed working there! It gave me the laid-back feel of my current job, which also has a great work environment. Overall, this little place has so much charm and I'm happy to support another local spot in Indy. I got an almond milk latte and my daughter had a raspberry danish which she definitely enjoyed!! We ventured down to the basement area where she happily played in the toy area for 30 minutes. A very homey atmosphere, good coffee, sweets, and very friendly staff. It has a huge space on the two levels. The espresso was pretty decent and Circadian coffee and Limelight coffee served as a drip coffee. And, all materials of the to-go cup are certified compostable. My only complaint was that the order counter is located in the narrow hallway and the restroom door facing the counter so that a little bit busy to use the restroom. read more

worst service I've ever experience, this place has not only spat in my food but I've found bugs around the place. the food isn't fresh which is very obvious, I've experienced the owner not only have a bad attitude toward the customers but also the staff. I thought this was going to be a new cozy location for myself as I love finding cute little spots to hang out at but this place is not one of those locations, the overal energy I've experienced was not only bad for my aura but was also visible from others aswell. I hope this place gets better from the exterior and interior, I also hope the owner comes to their senses and becomes more open minded about any and all situation. Prufrock is full of eclectic vibes, kitschy decor, and fabulous coffee! I love walking in and seeing how perfectly mishmashed the seating is, it seems like they went to a Goodwill and found the most perfect vintage chairs that just tie the place together. Their coffee is very good and you'll want to drink it for here because there's ample seating in the basement, including lots of books to browse and a small play area for kids.
