I LOVED Pruneyard cinemas pre-covid. This was the local spot, it is cozy, clean & luxurious. The theater is very well maintained. The food options/quality is not the way it used to be. We couldn't stop raving about the fried pickles but now they are spears and fall apart when you're biting them. It's hard to see in the theaters which makes it more difficult to eat (please change it back!) They also used to have a lot more gourmet salads and better appetizers. We tried orange chicken rice bowl and also the Kung fu chow mein. Hard pass on the orange chicken, it was like not crispy at all. Although both items are over priced ($16 each) I would recommend the chow mein if you're deciding between the two, it was actually pretty good in comparison. read more

One star for the movie, comfortable reclining seats, and the food we ordered was pretty good and came quickly after ordering. Other than that, the service we received tonight was absolutely ATROCIOUS. The ending is the worst part. I had ordered two Sprites and popcorn at the concession right before the movie started. By the time I got back to my seat the movie NOPE had already started. We started eating our food and once we tasted our Sprites we knew something was off. It tasted like there was no syrup in it, just straight up carbonation, and if you've ever tasted that you know it's gross. So even though the movie was about 10-15 min already I decided to go back to the concession to exchange them. There were no customers as I got to the concessions. There was one employee (who was the same girl who gave me the drinks) going over receipts, counting tips, etc. I stood there waiting for a minute until she looked up to acknowledge me. When she did I said "excuse me, these Sprites I got do not taste good, I think theres something wrong with the sprite. Can I get something else?" She says "let me go check for you" and then goes in the back. So as I'm standing there waiting, another employee walking back and forth filling up drinks asks if I need help. I said "I think the other girl is checking for me." Then the first employee who went to "check" comes back doesn't even say a word or evens acknowledge me. ??? Okay. She goes back to the same thing she was doing before I got there (counting tips and/or check receipts) She did NOT say word about a new drink, what the problem is, or even if she notified anyone else for help. I was standing there ignored. There was a few more employees walking behind the counter grabbing popcorn and drinks filling orders for what seemed to be other people in their seats. I stood there well into the beginning of the movie. It was like I was invisible. A simple "can I offer you something else" would have sufficed. Finally I shouted "is someone going to help me" while I was literally the only customer there. Then this creepy guy with an apron comes behind the register getting popcorn. He said you don't need to be rude and use that language around here. I said "can you help me with my drink" then another employee said "we gotta call the manager." At this point I'm missing a big chunk of the movie already! I'm frustrated as hell bc this could've been over & done with in 2 minutes so I said "listen I don't give a fuck who you are my pregnant gf is in the movie by herself, and I came here to get the drinks changed because they taste like shit." The manager comes, who is a younger lady probably in her early 20s, and I explain the drink situation to her. She asks "what can I get you?" and she was able to get me two new cokes right away. She wasn't there earlier unfortunately bc she was the only pleasant, competent employee I spoke to. I asked if there was a manager here that's above her. She said no but I could get the contact info on the website. FINALLY I go back to my seat to watch the movie. THEN halfway through the movie, literally AN HOUR HAS PASSED, an old man in a white tshirt and dog tags comes to my seat DURING the movie and starts RUDELY TALKING (not whispering!) saying "what's your problem? What's going on?? I'm going to make you leave the theater" I can't even get a word in bc he's just going off in front of the whole theater in my face with no mask on. ALSO MIND YOU I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THIS MAN IS BC HE DID NOT ADDRESS HIMSELF AS THE MANAGER OR ANYONE OF AUTHORITY. I tell him I'll talk to him outside bc why the hell would I have a full on conversation with him inside the theater disturbing other movie goers. He says "you don't talk to the staff this way" and I said the staff must have some poor training bc they have horrible communication issues. I explained exactly what happened and not once did he address the original situation at all. He was coming at me hostile bc of what I said to them and telling ME to apologize. I did not get a SINGLE apology for the (lack) of service I received even after he realized his staff was in the wrong. Something that could've been dealt with in less than 2 minutes turned into 30 with the interruptions. Between the tickets ($37) and food (concessions $19.50 & kitchen $52.50) we spent well over $100 tonight and I do not think we will be back just based on this horrible experience. Now I realize we should've asked for a refund for the movie bc I missed about 1/4 of it. Welp. read more

A few weeks ago my family and I went to pick up some popcorn and icee's for our family movie night. When we arrived we noticed how busy the Cinema Patio was for a Friday night. Between taking orders and bringing out drinks and food for his tables, Dylan went above and beyond to help us. He took the time to take our order, and even brought it out to us when it was ready. I'm writing this review off 2 different visits to the theatre - once to see Christopher Robin at a sunday matinee, and for the second time more recently on a tuesday evening for Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald. My first experience was great! My mom, grandma, auntie and I all ordered service to our seats. The food and drinks were great, and everything came within a reasonable timeframe at the start of the movie. The second experience was not so great. We ordered 15 mins before the start of the movie & 45 minutes into the show, had to press the call button to see where our popcorn & drinks were - the waiter goes to check. He returns 10 minutes later to let us know concessions closed, so there's no popcorn - we still don't have our drinks. When we finally got our drinks, they were wrong. Super bummer. The manager waved the bill, but it's just not the same, watching a movie without the popcorn. Overall, I really enjoy this location, seats are super comfy, but I think from now on, I'll just order at concession before going in, and saving myself the automatic 18% gratuity charge, and be sure I have popcorn during my movie! read more

Pro: + location: Pruneyard (nice, relaxing, and romantic) it's also new! + decor: clean for the most part +one of the newest dine in theater in San Jose +new reclining seats that goes all the way back +about 6-7 rows in the theater I was in (spacious and not too far from the screen) +cedar room bar and billiards! +rocky road popcorn! Yummy Con: -lack tentative customer service. After pressing the call button, it did take a while for a server to take our orders and received it -drinks are a little pricey due to the fact they serve it to you (you might want to go drink at the Cedar Room bar upon entering) same goes for the snacks at the concession stand ***20% gratuity ): -SUPER HARD to locate if you're not familiar with the area. *** pass orchard city kitchen and lulu's (please put up signs) -misleading movie time sign at the entrance. For a long while I thought the movie theater was located in the hotel LOL OPPS -probably add built in lights under the table so we can view our menus without having to use our phones ? Awesome theater! Boyfriend and I went on a Saturday after lunch and were surprised that the tickets only cost $10 (for the matinee price). We walked past the small concession stand into the theater. There were reclining chairs with small tables attached. THEY HAVE DINING SERVICES AVAILABLE HERE!!!! The little restaurant next door will bring you any foods and drinks on their menu, which to our surprise, had a TON of food options. Fun little date night place. It can be pricey if you buy foods/drinks, but a nicer theater to go to for a movie! read more

What a fun, new theater experience. Comfy recliners, booze, and food service right at your seat! Oh, and the actual movie wasn't bad either. It's been a while since I've hung out at the Pruneyard. The place really has a hip new vibe. This theater fits right in. I love the reserve seating. But that's nothing new. Service right at your seat, now that's cool. We ordered some sodas and popcorn right from our seat. Luis, our server, was so quick to bring it out. What's cool was he came back a few minutes later with some napkins. Didn't ask for them, so I thought that was pretty impressive service. Oh the little things. Kudos to Luis. No more "hoping" for good seats. No more waiting in line for food. No more crappy seats. Great service is how i would describe this place. They make the food and drinks, so fast. And they have your bill ready the moment the credits play at the end of the show. As an adult i always dreamed of eating real food and drinking alcohol at a cinema(legally). Better late than never. It IS expensive. Even for 2. 1st their was the Mountain View Cineplex with the leather recliners - comfortable. Then their was the upstairs Los Gatos theater ultra comfortable leather recliners and separate ottomans. Now there is the leather recliner (I believe to the flattest recline to date), sliding tray tables, and full food and beverage service throughout the entire movie. The comfort, service, & food was excellent - each 5 Stars individually, BUT $18 per glass for a Pinot Noir in a movie theater is outrageous !!! I hope someone in the corporate office can strike some sort of balance. read more

Cool concept, poor view from seat This is another in the wave of high-service movie experiences in the area. My wife, kids, and I are fans-- comfy up in a nice recliner, eat good food, watch a fun movie... it's a hoot. For Pruneyard Cinemas, there are a couple things that make it a mixed experience. On the good side, the place is nicely updated, the staff is friendly, and the food is pretty good. That said, a couple things knock some stars off. First, the chairs are organized is a way that it's not quite stadium seating and our kids struggled to watch the movie. Even my wife had some difficulty when someone sat in the seat in front of her. The person wasn't tall, but the levels of the seats just aren't elevated enough. Fortunately, that person started slouching part-way into the new Fantastic Beasts. Second, the theater was cold and the food became unappetizing as the oil from the fries and such coagulated. Third, it was so dark, that my kids couldn't see their food to eat it without using our phones as flashlights. Last, the price is a bit high for the food quality. Will likely go again since it's close. We'll look to see if there's true stadium seating in another theater at this location. read more

What a great experience. We've been waiting so long for this movie theater to open. We were greeted by management, She was so kind and explained everything. For those who want to know: this place is not part of a movie theater chain. It's being ran by a private owner. They have a beautiful bar with an individual door that you can hang out before your movie starts. You can order food or drinks before or during the movies. Drink prices are decent, but I expected lowprices for the food. Interior design was awesome. They had two different ways of buying tickets: Old fashion way and self service. Seats are comfortable. Sound and picture quality was amazing. Go Pruneyard cinema! My wishes: 1. Since this is a place that you can eat and drink while you're watching movies, cleanliness is the key. I really really hope they do know that and don't give up on that. 2. They are an independent movie theater and I hope they show independent movies too. I understand that as a business they have to survive and show all hollywoods movies but I hope they can squeeze in some good independent movies so Campbell can has a unique and cultured cinema. 3. I suggest that they offer a free blanket too lol Updates: 1.Went there another time and this time ordered food too. Nachos was cold and It was kinda hassle to have them change it. 2.They make you to accept their 20% gratuity before using their service. They say we gonna add 20% gratuity to your order, are you ok with that? How can I say no to that in middle of movie? This is my third or fourth time at PC since it opened (I really miss Camera 7). There are so many things I like about this theatre, and I would like to patronize it more. At the end of the day, I'm tired of food getting delivered to patrons during the opening scene of whatever I'm seeing. And it always happens. Imagine sitting there anticipating the opening musical number to "Aladdin." 30 seconds into the number, your view is completely blocked by the group in front of you being served what seems like a 12 course meal, along with the noise that comes with a group that size being served. "80 For Brady." I'm sitting there enjoying the opening scene and it happens again -- another group getting their orders served during the opening scene and it distracted me from catching what could have been important details. If it weren't for this dynamic, I would give PC five stars and I would patronize it more often. I love the seats. There's a lot of room. I'm very happy with the snack options available to me. I have not personally tried the Cedar Room, but it does look warm and inviting. I recognize there's a balance that needs to be had with a "full service" movie/dining experience. However, can we please stop with the food/beverage deliveries during the first ten minutes of the flick? read more

I love this theater. I've been coming here since they remodeled and have not regretted it. The seats are super comfy, they've got food and drink service and it's this nice little secret in Campbell so there's usually still tickets to big releases even when other theaters are sold out. The last movie I watched here was Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and as always it was a good time. The kitchen is through Cedar Room next door. Whenever there's a big release there's a special dish that has some punny name to go along with the release (such as the "Scarlet Sand'Witch" during Doctor Strange) The food is good, if not a little pricey but they do have a pretty good beer selection, which for a beer enthusiast like me is key. All in all a great theater that I continue to come to for all the Marvel releases and most other blockbuster-action movies. read more

Haven't been back since all the renovation and I'm so glad i did! They have recliners here which is the in thing now. But they also have servers here that come to your seats to take your order! That's not like Century or AMC that I've been to before. I'm taking away 1 star because it was kind of difficult to check in at the kiosk by yourself. But then a worker said that we can just go to the check in line. That was easy enough. Just show him out email tickets. We got inside just in time, it was super dark, but we assumed that these were our seats. It did take us a while to find the button to call the server but it's under the tray on the arm to the front. You really can't see the menu, maybe that's why i should come earlier to check out the menu Ect. We didn't order food from here but just drinks. I would def come here again to watch a movie! Really dig the idea and have enjoyed my experiences here tho it can get a little weird with people coming and going to deliver food/drinks. Props to the servers for tip-toeing their way in the dark to get people their goods. Pretty impressive. Theatre itself is high quality. Comfy seats. Spacious. Screens and sound quality is top-notch. horrible service does not seem like anyone knows what their doing or talking about good luck finding someone to help you or a manager on duty especially if your part of the movie club supposedly. we came to see the new venom on 10/25 Friday 9:35PM showing there is no one to help with tickets the only employee was the ONE female worker with glasses behind the concession stand with a line almost up to the door. we are part of the movie club ours is $7 off 2 movie tickets, 2 large pop corns and $20 food voucher which we pay $25 for and is good until 12/31 for use once a month. The $7 coupon for the tickets they give you on the phone is a QR code so you are unable to add it onto the app or the mobile site even when trying to scan it on their kiosk scanner it DOES NOT WORK! this happened to us last month too but there was a actual worker at the ticket stand to help us she had to take us to a computer at the concession stand and do it there but she could not scan the $7 off coupon last month either so she just gave us free tickets. Today we tried again since earlier in the day to add our tickets to our app even tried the mobile site again we were again unable to. so we came early to do it in person the only employee around was that one female with glasses I asked her if someone could help since we have these $7 off vouchers and unable to use on app or kiosk she tells us we need to get into the concession stand line and she will see if she can assist us she then asks for info of movie club member Alvarez,Valentina last name and first looks up on the movie club sheet of paper then asks what seats we want on the screen we select them, she asks how many popcorns and to go to our seats to order the rest with our $20 food and drink voucher leave the tab open and hand it to one of the servers at the end we went to our seats, scanned the menu did exactly what she said, and it was not allowing us so during the movie i missed some bc I ended up just going up to one of the servers and he got our order. We go to our seats and we thought it was strange she didn't give us tickets after asking which seats we wanted and selected them we thought maybe we would pay for it after with the food voucher since we didn't get tickets nothing was explained or even have us pay after selecting the seats so we checked the app and noticed our seats were still open we didn't want to be interrupted during the movie more if there was an issue. I had to go back to the concession stand when the movie already started so i missed MORE AGAIN the line still with that same one employee I informed the same female with glasses that our seats were still open just wanted to make sure they were selected that SHE had us select we want to make sure we have tickets incase someone bought those seats since they were open after selecting we did not want to be interrupted. she then tells me we still need to buy our tickets which we have been trying to do since we walked in! i'm not sure why she asked us all which seats we wanted let us choose them and not finish the transaction? what was the point of that?! i told her so why did you have us choose our tickets? she had NO answer and told me to take a deep breath and calm down bc she was feeling like she needed to ? lol I wasn't rude just stating facts since she had us pick our seats then wasted our time 2-3x bc what of what she was telling us. my sister had to leave the movie also to explain to her this happened last month too we cannot do it on the kiosk with the QR code she kept insisting we could then said she could NOT help us with the $7 off for the tickets b/c the manager was NOT there and that we would have to pay full price we paid em and just went back inside so i missed parts of the movie since we were being told wrong information so not sure what is the point of being part of this movie club if your not able to use it when you want. They need more employees and staff who know what they're talking about , a manager on duty is definitely needed this was a mess I don't even want to go back to use the last 3 months that's how bad this experience was most cinemas would make this right especially since we paid full price after being a movie club member bc a "manager was not on duty" to do the code for us. so again not sure why this cinema has this option for a movie club when you pay full price if no manager is on duty to scan it they're basically taking more $ from you. Went to see Elf on Monday and had a great time. After I had a small hiccup with the charges on my credit card. I emailed the Pruneyard at the email they state on their website and within 1 hour I had a response from Nick and he immediately helped me and got everything worked out. Great customer service, great location and I love the small cozy theater. Will continue to search for movies at the Pruneyard first before going anywhere else. read more

I guess it because you can order food, but the last thing I want to enjoy a movie is to be 6 inches from a stranger chowing down on dinner. The ads before the film clearly states to press the seat button to order food. A loud man arrived and was very dismissive and told us to use the barcodes at the seat. This is my first time ever at the movie theater in Campbell. Pros: comfy seats which recline, you can order an adult beverage from the Cedar Room and bring into the theater with you, lots of leg room, have in theater dining service. Reserved seating, and the price for popcorn and drinks are much cheaper than at AMC and Century. Cons: getting in and out of seat is a little tight with the tray table, seats are not very side, I noticed they charge 20% gratuity if you order in the theater, so my advice is order your and bring in your drinks and food. We saw Incredibles 2 during its opening weekend and it was not busy or crowded at all. I will definitely visit them again. read more

This turned out to be a very expensive outing to see a movie. Price for 2 matinee tickets (so they were discounted), 2 hotdogs, 2 drinks, and a regular size popcorn added up to about $80. I very clearly specified the condiment toppings for each hotdog. But both arrived (30 minutes after ordering) with plastic condiment packets on the side, and the hotdogs were overcooked and dried out. Seats were nice, and the staff was nice, although clearly in training. Could be why we were the only ones in the theater. I prefer to support local businesses, but the price is excessive for the experience. read more

I went here a while back. Thought to try it out since I heard there's a wait staff to take your orders at the theater. My first impression when I went to take a seat was that the theater space was smaller. It's not a complaint. Smaller space gives you a more intimate feel. In addition to the theater being small, so are the seats. Now that's a complaint! Doesn't give you much room especially for people who are really tall or heavy set. The tables that were attached to the seats were also small. So don't order too much food since there's not much space to hold everything. I ordered nachos and flavored popcorn. They ran out of the rocky road popcorn (most popular). Out of the two, I really liked the popcorn. The nachos were ok. Overdosed on the topping so the chips became soggy. Their small sizes for food are actually pretty big. I ordered a small and it looked like a large! Overall, I would come back because wait staff were courteous and the food was not bad. Got to the theater and too many workers wandering around. We were in 10 minutes of our movies and suddenly it just stops playing. The movie literally cut out. Finally, after 10 minutes an usher came and explain as to why the projector stopped working. They gave us an option to wait or get a refund. Glad we didn't' stay, I heard the movie didn't come back and neither the next showing. Overall, the remodeled theater is nice and roomy. But, they don't explain to you how to get the attention of the servers or ushers. Also, you have servers bringing food and taking orders while the movie is on. So, you get distracted from the movements and whispering. They should not allow moviegoers to order food or drinks after the movie had already started. read more

We came here on 2/26 for a movie and decided to eat dinner too. I've seen movies and comedy shows here. The seats are comfy but I don't like seeing movies there much because the theater is not very dark (probably because servers need to see as they are walking around through the entire movie), so the colors and contrast on the screen are not good. For the premium price of everything here, it should be perfect. I ordered the 4 cheese macaroni shells because it sounded like a gourmet Mac and cheese. What I got looked and tasted like boxed Annie's macaroni and cheese, complete with watery white cheese sauce and elbows instead of shells. I returned it for the buttermilk chicken tenders which turned out to be a worse idea. For $16, I received a burnt platter of mostly fries and 4 tiny chicken nugget size burned pieces of chicken. I'm not exaggerating, look at the photos. I was ready to enjoy the movie and not stress about my food at this point so I just ate it. There was a cold random piece of some other food at the bottom of my fries that I ate assuming it was just a cold piece of fry. I don't want to think about what it actually was. I am a sauce lover and usually can't get enough sauce but there was so little chicken I had plenty of sauce leftover. My husband got the loaded nachos which were actually huge and pretty good. He also got a large popcorn, one cocktail, and a soda. I got an old fashioned and it was really small but tasted good thankfully. The total was over $111 not including tip. Keep in mind that doesn't include the ticket price. There's a $17 service fee, whatever that is. What a rip off. I don't think I'll be back for anything but the comedy shows unless they improve the experience. read more

Attended their Culinary Cinema series here, was really looking forward to this experience and here for the first time. Watched "Rear Window" starring James Stewart and Grace Kelly. Have never seen the movie before and it was really good, however the food was not. The appetizer of smoked salmon canapé and the dessert (lime jello with pineapple pieces and coconut - felt like I was in a cafeteria) was fine. The entrée of "Chicken a la Thorwald" with Courtyard vegetables was not worth it. Basically chicken breast strips cooked in a white gravy with LOTS of whole fingerling potatoes, a few pieces of cauliflowers, asparagus, mushrooms and peas. It came barely lukewarm and the chicken was dry. Perhaps it was a good thing that it was served during the movie, dark and you couldn't see it. Entered the stark lobby to the inescapably loud and pounding beats of the adjoining club next door separated by a curtain. It was Joketown. The recliners were more comfortable than others but the bright stair lights were in my eye the entire movie, so much so that I had to sit with my knee blocking it, even after covering the light with a menu. I don't go to a movie theater for pounding music and an eye exam, especially if I have to walk up a tiny flight of stairs to a one-sink bathroom. Because it's walking distance and surrounded by good restaurants, I would only consider going on a non-DJ weeknight in an inside seat away from the eye-level flashlights. read more

I'm normally not one to leave a negative review for a local business I want to see thrive, but my experience at the Pruneyard Cinemas tonight was so bizarrely off-putting that I must encourage others to stay away until they get it together. I met up with two friends about an hour before our scheduled showtime for The Green Knight. We decided to grab drinks and snacks at Cedar Room, the restaurant/bar attached to Pruneyard Cinemas that provides all their food and drink. We got seated fine, the waiter seemed friendly enough, but after 20 minutes of waiting we still hadn't been checked in on or placed an order. One of my friends went to the bar to see if he could just directly place his drink order, as it was getting somewhat close to our showtime and we didn't want to rush. He was turned away and told they don't serve people at the bar. Weird, but slightly understandable given COVID. At that point it was twenty minutes to our showtime so we decided to just go in and order from our seats. This is when things got particularly bad. The ticket checker was incredibly rude. I don't want to disparage working class people, I've worked the same exact job before (at the same theater to boot back when it was Camera 7), so I get not liking your job. But hostility towards customers isn't going to make it any easier. They have a sign upfront saying "proof of vaccination required." There is no indication that this is a future policy that starts next week, so my friend immediately pulled out his vaccination card to show the ticket checker. He just stared blankly and rudely said with an edge, "I need your tickets." That particular friend had bought his ticket with me so they were both on my phone so I say no problem, pull them up, and show him the barcode that was sent to me when I bought the tickets and he just... stares at me. I wait a moment then ask "Do you like need to scan it or something?" He responds coldly "That's only two tickets," and then stares coldly at my other friend (who had already pulled up his own ticket on his phone). I tell ticket man that friend has his own and we go to the theater. Poor worker morale is the first sign of a bad business and this dude's mood very much started telling me a story about this place. My next issue comes when we finally get to place our drink orders. The beer I had my eye on in the Cedar Room was not on the list for Pruneyard Cinemas. When I inquired about this, the waitress (very kind, very friendly) went to find out and for some reason I still do not understand at all, there's just certain beers they don't deliver to the theater. Apparently if I had ordered it in Cedar Room myself I could have walked to my theater seat with it, but ordering that beer from my seat was impossible. This makes NO sense and is just a convoluted frustrating structure. While placing our food orders our nice waitress had trouble finding a few food items on her electronic device and mentioned "they're always changing stuff on us and not telling." Poor communication is another sign of a poorly run business. The food came out bizarrely fast. Like, one of my friends was still ordering when my other friend's order came out. Normally this would be cool, but the quality is abysmal and I'm sure the quick and careless preparation is indicative of that. I strongly suspect that are misrepresenting menu items as well. I ordered the chicken strips and mac and cheese. The chicken strips tasted like Tyson's frozen chicken strips and the mac and cheese tasted so straight up like Velveeta that I'm near positive that it IS Velveeta and not whatever three cheese blend they're claiming. The food wasn't just not quality, it was BAD. Oh yeah, and to top it off, they charge 20% standard gratuity on all theater orders and then have the audacity to include another line for a tip. My final complaint, and the absolute deal breaker of why I will not be coming back, there is sound bleed. All throughout our movie we could clearly hear dialogue and sound effects from Stillwater. Sound bleed has been a known issue since this was Camera 7 (I knew about it when I worked there) and it was never fixed with the renovations. In fact, all during my tenure at Camera 7 there was talks about how it was going to be upgraded to a luxury theater and better sound proofing would be part of that. Unsurprisingly Jack cheaped out. When I mentioned I suspected the issue was sound bleed to an employee they wrote me off and said "you're not even near another theater." This was a super disappointing experience. I really want a nice local place where I can enjoy good movies, good drinks, and good food, and Pruneyard Cinemas is really dropping the ball. This fails to capture anything about the luxury theater experience (except maybe the recliners) while still charging you exorbitant prices for food you can get in the freezer aisle. Hope they get it together, but I won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

Almost two years since we were in a theater, we had a great evening at the Pruneyard Cinema. The reclining seats, cocktails/wine, and food were great. I definitely recommend the Cedar Salad (Caesar) with chicken as well as the Coconut Fried Shrimp and House Fries. My husband's Vampire Cosmo was delicious. The theater is well maintained and the staff is very friendly. We look forward to our next visit. read more

This is truly a grand idea! Movie and dinner. Very cool and very ingenious! Just be advised there are times when there are distractions with the servers bringing food to customers in their seats, and customers that buy the food making noise and talking. If you can deal with that, this is a great place to enjoy a movie and a burger. I didn't try the food, but the food I saw looked scrumptious! The staff are friendly, courteous, and helpful. The price is reasonable too considering a %20 surcharge for food ordered in your seat. The movie screens are small, but still enjoyably entertaining enough to make it worth while coming here. Also, the reclining seats are comfortable and spacious. Super fantastic place, come hungry and try the food service in your seat. read more

Our first time here. Decided to give it a try after going to the Eclipse in Las Vegas. How fun. The food was delicious and the seats are great. We sat at the very front but because you can really recline back it was no problem at all. I was able to see the screen and enjoy the show. read more

Seats are comfortable and it's nice to recline, but.... The smell of the theater was greasy and gross. It was stuffy and it felt like I was sitting in a dirty restaurant. So unappetizing I had no desire to order any food. Not worth the price to have that experience. read more
