Very quick efficient service. The one downer is there an online coupon which they will not accept. You have to have a printer, somewhere handy and print a copy or they will not honor the certificate. I think that's really a sad situation. read more

I've taken my cars there for years! I didn't know to drive my truck after service for computer to "reset" before smog check. They told me to go drive it on highway. Usually 80 miles will reset computer. I drove had to drive mine for about 350 miles. Took it by several times during that time to check for reset ... they never charged me extra for the "rechecks". I was going out of town so needed tags that day ... they were beyond wonderful. Will only tale my vehicles to them. read more

Drove in right when they opened without an appointment and the gentleman at the bay told me to just drive my car up to the bay and come inside. Front desk lady was very pleasant and told me to have a seat while they smog test my car - and in 10 mins on the dot I passed and was free to go! Highly recommend this spot if you're looking to get in and out. Paid $60 for everything and was pretty happy for the value, service, and pleasantry of the staff! BEWARE! I agree with several other reviews, some of which look like we're suppressed. This place is a RIP OFF for charging for cars not working with their machines when the battery's been replaced. Anyone can tell when there's a new battery in there, and they should have the decency to ask you about it before going through the motions so they don't charge you without giving you any service. They are definitely rip off artists at worst! A smog check is to test whether your car passes a smog test when put through it, if it doesn't work with their machine, then they need to take responsibility for that, as they are unable to perform the smog check, DO TO THE FAULT OF THEIR MACHINES. They shouldn't charge you for a service not provided. Definitely not recommending and would say steer clear of this one! I found another one close by who were decent enough to let me know whether they could run it through their machine or not in the first place. BEWARE! read more

WARNING! Lots of deceptive tactics here. The $8 fee for the "Smog Certificate" is not necessary! They have to put it in the system the DMV access to allow your registration. Don't pay their petty junk fee for a certificate you don't need. If you are selling your vehicle, maybe this is an option to consider. My car passed all inspections except one: ODBII monitors not ready. This was a petty tactic to generate a re-inspection to gain another $40 in fees on top of the $60 they charged. What a terrible policy for a business to do such a disservice to our community! I have filed a complaint with the BAR (Bureau of Auto Repair) and I will NEVER take any of my cars there again! Their personnel could hardly explain anything with this situation, but many YouTube videos explain how not to get ripped off like I did by shops like this one! I can only hope they go out of business and get out of Palm Springs with their tactics. read more

Terrible service, I came to get my lowrider smogged. And the fat white man was extremely rude. Send to go get my vehicle "fixed" and walked away. I had drove an hour here because they said they can do it, called ahead of time because low riders need a special type of smog, they said yes we can do it. Not only did I pay 80 dollars for this smog to not pass he messed up one my tires running over the bumper. Great job guys!!!! read more

Excellent place to get a smog test! It was the first time in my life that I had a request from the DMV to get a smog test done in order to renew the registration on my car, so I started looking at places. PS Smog doesn't require a reservation, so I gave them a call. They told me there was currently no one in the bay, so I headed out. It took literally less than 15 minutes from me arriving, checking in, the car getting tested, paying and heading out. Staff was friendly, explained the process to me on arrival and efficiently took care of everything. read more

The woman front desk, oh man, she's rude. She didn't know words "talk slowly", or didn't know word "compassions" either. First woman, from the bay, she's nice. I told her that I have a stroke and that do not believe my face, I'm not grouchy, and she laughed. Second woman, from the front desk. I would change the bay woman to the front desk, and the front desk move... well, cleaning the office? In the end, they were fast (less customers?) from the bay woman and the man check my car smog. read more

This is by far the best experience I have ever had getting a smog test. It is a drive through facility. They meet you at your car. You go inside and sign the work order and they drive your car in. In the immaculate waiting room you can sit and watch them test your car. In less than 10 minutes your car is delivered back to the front and you are on your way. It was vehicle registration renewal time requiring a smog certificate. PS smog gets down to their business of smog testing your car. I noticed that there were three bays in their large service station. As I pulled up to their lot, one car was in the bay undergoing the smog test, and another car was being pulled in for testing. From entering the clean lobby to leaving with the smog certificate in hand, the entire smog test process lasted about twenty minutes. The service people are no-hassle, efficient- friendly types. The cost of the smog test with certificate is $52. This was my second visit to this business in the past three to four years. Both visits were extremely hassle-free. read more
