Came here for a late night meal. It wasn't super packed. The server greeted us. The wings were awesome! Drinks were good. Our server was super cool and very engaging. I hate I didn't get her name. She was cheering for me to eat more than 3 wings. I didn't. I will definitely visit again

Great local joint right across from the Hyatt Regency on Bay! always had a great amount of people in there, and the music was good. Service was pretty prompt, and the drinks were very good. Great selection of bar food. Note -- all to go items come with a service charge.

We had the Cool Ranch Dorito chicken and waffles and it was delicious! Paige the bartender was so sweet, and attentive ! I definitely want to come back and try the pulled pork Mac and cheese. Great happy hour special! Your typical dive bar feel, but loved the atmosphere We couldn't leave without trying the famous pickle shots.

PS is always one of our factor places to stop. There isn't much pizzaz, but their kitchen is open late and the drinks are priced well. The staff is awesome, too! This is one of the more layer back options downtown, which is always appreciated as everything is starting to go for the same "cocktail lounge" vibe. Great options on draft, and the menu had tons of options as well. There's normally spots playing too.

The reason why I am giving this three stars is because we get it on a Wednesday evening and this is the only place open after 10pm and serving food. I didn't have a high expectations due to it being the only food place open. I just wanted some good wings my friend just wanted a great quesadilla and both were lackluster. My chicken wings came way over seasoned. I literally ate 2. Again, I'm giving this three stars because I was able to order for an extra surcharge of $2.99 "flats only." My friend ate one wing and could barely finish it. I let our Server know, how OVER SEASONED, the wings were, wish I would've gotten her name. " She stated that "they always toss them that much." The only reason why I did not return the whole plate but how they made their french fries, little potato wedge kind of peels, they were absolutely delicious. I don't even like potatoes and dipped and ketchup and ranch. Absolutely amazing. my friend got the chicken quesadilla, And she thought it was very mediocre. The bartender was friendly. He came and took our plates and he was absolutely amazing. In a short interaction we had. Salad was amazing. Wish I had got it tossed. I don't think I will return to this place, due to the lack of customer service of our server.

Service was great. Had good a good drink and very nice server! Until I went into the men's restroom. I made them aware of this photo. . Not only were they displaying video coverage of the news and Epstein files, they promoted it. Which a country divided doesn't need to display division in a place of leisure and good conversations with friends as well as making new friends of all party's and ways of life. I love my dive bars, biker bars, and aged graffiti in bathrooms just as much as the next person who loves a dive but this crossed the line. It's great to see who's all been touring a spot. Although, This is a disgusting display of inhumanity that needs no party preference, race or religion. They did not take action when shown . They're response was "they will try to deal with it later".. We left immediately.

Big pours and big slices at this mainstay right on Bay Street. Surprisingly, for late night eats, the pizza here is significantly better than I had expected. Never order 3 slices, though... you will not finish.

This restaurant was located across the street from our hotel. Hours are pretty late, so this was one of a few options for places to eat. There's a bar and TVs if you like to watch sports. Restaurant was clean and plenty of seating and vibes were pretty good. Ordering was simple and typical sports bar food on the menu. I ordered a Smashburger and it was pretty decent. Patty was flavorful and meat was seasoned pretty well. Tater tots were perfectly cooked and there was a large portion served with my burger. Our waitress was pretty nice and gave good recommendations.

Well.... I don't really know what I was expecting but seeing as it was after midnight and fast food wasn't going to cut it this place popped up in my tedious search so we came. The atmosphere is cool, the music wasn't too loud and the server was just as interactive as I would've liked. The bartender was a comedian but he didn't do too much so that was appreciated. The sweet tea had no sugar (so it went back), the lemonade was a fount drink so blah, the pepperoni pizza definitely gave high school cafeteria vibes and the wings came out cold and under cooked the first time, but on the second try they were pretty good. The onion rings were perfect and that was the cheapest thing we ordered. I definitely wouldn't write home about this place but every blue moon I'd come back as long as I ordered my wings fried hard and the onion rings always tasted the same.

What are the odds that a group of 12 Green Bay Packers fans from South Florida could find a Packer bar in Savannah? We did....PS Tavern on Bay Street; and even more surprising was that the owners are from Colorado! This was a great place to watch Packer playoff football! The place was PACKED and had all the special things that made watching the game even more fun.... Free Jell-O shots for each touchdown; broadcasted songs & chants, Miller bucket specials, pickle shots, and even cheese curds on the menu. Overall it is a typical "historic" looking sports bar. Lots of wooden booths, high tops, a bar, brick walls decorated with sports and alcohol signage. The service was pretty good while we were there, which was great since the bar was packed with people wall to wall and many patrons just standing. (We actually got there an hour before the game and secured the last seating area....way in the back.) Savannah isn't necessarily a town known for sports; but if you want to watch a game, PS Tavern is definitely a great option right in the heart of the historic downtown district. Plus it won't break the bank!

Five star sports bar. If you're looking for 5 star service with delectable pub fare, this is your place. We have had the good fortune to order in and visit this unassuming pub; both encounters leaving us pleasantly satiated and inebriated (responsibly of course). This is the place to come if you want to indulge in bar snacks while mediating your guilt. Fried pickles, pile of tots, cool ranch Doritos chicken tenders, Nashville hot chicken sliders, quesadillas, house potato chips, sweet potato fries and homemade ranch- allll the YES's. Not your standard BS downtown bar- this is your elevated Sunday's best sport bar. The place you want to hang out for hours snacking and drinking because they've made it too wonderful to leave. If you have the pleasure of being served by Thea (please excuse if it's incorrectly spelled) make sure you tip her well, she's awesome. For sure coming back, again, again and again. read more

In town for just a few days and this is the first place we hit fleet March Madness. Bartender Brittany was wicked awesome and super funny. Gave us some good tips on what to see and do. They're menu looked great; had a calzone and a slice of pizza. House-made marinara was excellent! Recommend to anyone and everyone. read more

Interesting place. Service can be slow sometimes because it is seat yourself and usually pretty crowded. Food is good for being bar food. The slice of pizza is as big as three! Overall a relaxed environment, and a great place to hang out and watch football. read more

Our daughter was visiting from Charleston and picked this place she loves Bloody Mary's. This place is awful, from the service to the food, to the claim of the best Bloody Mary in Savannah. You always feel bad writing bad reviews but then obviously the business doesn't feel bad about serving you poor quality food so I'd rather save someone else from a bad experience and waste of money. They were slow but the waitress took forever with our service beginning to end and was not warm or friendly at all! We ordered the buffalo nachos and the cheese curds. The nachos were terrible and the curds & dip were grocery store level. My daughter & I both ordered a bloody mary. Both tasted like dirty socks...or at least how you'd think dirty socks taste like! My husband said no way proceeded to take a drink and spit it out. read more

We came here with the intention that we would be getting great food and drinks late night. The exact opposite happened. It's not even busy and it took 20 min for drinks to come and over an hour for food to come. Food was underwhelming and service sucked too. Won't be coming back. read more

One of our favorite places we visited while in Savannah! If you're looking for a casual dinner with a great atmosphere, this is it! The fried pickles were great. The salads were fresh. The drinks were cold. The staff was so friendly! While we sat at the bar for a couple drinks after our meal, a few of the workers recommended things to do in Savannah and we sat there and enjoyed taking to them for at least 20-30 min. I would definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone else! read more

Taylor was a wonderful server. The pizza is fantastic! The fried gator was way too salty. Unfortunately, during my experience, there was a sorority party puking in the bathroom. It also appears this bar is a fan bar of the Green Bay Packers. Which to me is negative points. Good pizza tho! read more

We used to go here when it was JJ Bonerz, but I was so pleased to see it did not lose any of it's casual, comfortable charm (besides being a Bears fan and being surrounded by Green Bay Packers flare... haha) It's a great place to grab a drink and listen to some live music. If you're a pickle lover, they have pickle shots! Their 19th Hioe cocktail is amazing. Lemon bourbon with sweet tea and lemonade. It's perfect for the warm weather coming up!! I havent really tried their food besides their pizza, which definitely hit the spot! Bartenders and wait staff are always super attentive and kind. read more

Stopped in to get the Bloody that is mentioned in a lot of reviews. They have a decent happy hour if you are stopping in during the week. I sat at the bar rail and service was nice enough. Definitely sports bar feel. The bloody had a good amount of garnishes and had some good spice to it. I would love to go back and try some food. read more

Food was actually really good, beer list is decent, fun atmosphere. So why three stars? Service was REALLY bad. We stood around for five to ten minutes and no staff greeted us even though it was clear we had not been served or seated. Once we finally got a table, our server was a bit on the inattentive side, and never brought a requested item until the meal was already over. read more

Our first stop in our mini honeymoon in Savannah. We were looking for a place to watch Monday Night Football. Perfect place. Our waitress was very nice. Gave us suggestions for good drinks. Suggested the Italian Nachos and neither my wife nor I were disappointed in that suggestion. I had the spicy Nashville chicken. It had a good kick to it. I like spicy food and I thought it was perfect. It wasn't a fancy bar but I wasn't wanting that anyway. If you'd like a place to hangout and have a few drinks while watching sports, this is that place. Would highly recommend. read more

Great way to kill time before our Ghost Tour. I had a Stella! The kids and I split two appetizers, garlic cheesy bread and buffalo shrimp. The bread was yummy. The Buffalo Shrimp was off the chain!!! Huge hit with my kiddos who Love spicy food!!! read more

Great little tavern across street from Hyatt .. cool rustic exposed brick.. tvs to watch the game.. good music ... great friendly service .. wings fries and fried pickles were all on the mark. Picked were battered onsite not like normal prebreaded slices they cut spears into lols like six sections batter them and fry.. makes a great fried pickle. Just right for watching the cubs/ nationals . Enjoyed food, service and atmosphere will be back while visiting. Packers fans will have found a new home in savannah if they visit...only thing from green bay missing was a cheesehead but I am sure it shows up on game day. read more

After working in town we were looking for a sports bar to relax and check out the Thursday night football game. The bar had no empty seats so we asked if we could get the game on at an empty corner of the room. After a bunch of unfriendly attitude the server annoyingly granted us the request. Surrounded by Packers memorabilia and coming from Wisconsin, I ask who the Packers fan of this 5 star sports bar is. She makes a disgusted face and says "No one. The owner bought it this way," and storms away. The smallest amount of wings you can order is a pound (like 15 wings) and we were denied being able to get two flavors. The coleslaw was pure mayonnaise- couldn't eat more than one taste. The wings were veiny and not close to worth $1 a piece. The best part of the experience was the fries. Don't waste your money here! read more

We were visiting from out of town and were looking for a place to watch the playoff games. Great place to watch football on Sundays. It is a Packers bar so it got really packed about half an hour before they played. So get there early if they are playing. Fun place, people were friendly and food was great!! Good Bloody Mary's too! read more

Saigon Cafe on Waters Ave. closed, and that was the last place I knew in Savannah that served that exquisite, clear soup. I always get chicken soup (pho ga). The new owners are doing good work, but I'd been spoiled. The broth doesn't have the depth, and it isn't hot enough. It's gotta come smoking, fogging glasses, clearing sinuses. But Boomy's brings the broth. I've been there two or three times, and it's my new pho go-to. The noodles are wider than At Saigon Cafe, but that's fine; they hold their bite longer without getting mushy. Please note: Boomy's is a bar on Congress Street in Downtown Savannah. It's wheelchair accessible and laid back. A Dad out with his two young boys asked if one kid could use the bathroom and was welcomed ... no purchase, no hesitation. And a lady in a wheelchair with her companion and her dog ducked in for a soft drink and a rest. Everyone's welcome. Nothing about its façade or dive-bar vibe suggests it serves bangin' Vietnamese food. Waitstaff is quick to show you the burger menu on the back, in case pho isn't your jam. Because they serve Thai food as well, they're careful to have you choose your heat level. They're happy to give you pepper flakes on the side and Sriracha at the table. But my pho didn't need it. My lunch companion got the rare beef pho. The hot soup came with thin slices of beef wrapping in foil on the side. Drop it in and it cooks. Looked delicious. My pho ga was amazing. I rarely can eat it all, but I did that day. My only minor complaint is that the bean sprouts looked a little less than fresh, but I'm not a big fan of them in soup anyway. Didn't slow me up one bit. But I AM a big fan of their cucumber and tomato salad. Cukes, chopped tomatoes, grated carrots, and maybe grated radish were all dressed with fish sauce, maybe rice vinegar, and a little sugar. If I'd had some cilantro I would have added it; cilantro is expensive these days. Can't blame them for not including it. It may be available by request. Oh, and try the cocktails. I had the tequila cooler and subbed watermelon vodka for cucumber vodka. So refreshing. Go to Boomy's. Get there on one of the few remaining cool days of spring. Or if you come down with a spring cold. Or if you work downtown in an office meat locker, go to warm up from the inside out. It's worth the hunt for parking.

There were nice chunks of beef but the larger pieces were slightly dry and chewy. Our server Matt took good care of us (like our request to rearrange the tables and chairs to accommodate our group) so kudos to him.

I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Overall- it's good food, decent ambiance... but there are soooo many good options in Savannah. You have to be exceptional to stand out in that city.
