Just like the PT Noodles in Litchfield Park, this one has some of the best noodles in town! I love ordering a Lemongrass and Chili Oil wings and they are so delicious! For the main course, I order the Meatball Pho with extra vegetables extra spicy and it does not disappoint! Very delicious! Overall, this is one of my main go to spots. I guess this place is... fine? People seem to like it? But I came here for pho, and the pho was 'meh' at best. The broth was almost sugary sweet, and really didn't have a beefy flavor. I'd be *EXTREMELY* surprised to go to the kitchen and see pots of simmering bones... it tastes more like they took some chicken stock, threw in a few packets of 'pho flavor', and let that simmer for awhile. On top of that, they don't have tendon or tripe, which is an absolute no-go for me. At least they're honest enough not to call it "dac biet". It looks like this is one of those places that tries to cater to picky, squeamish white people, and I'm sure that there are plenty of those who enjoy it, but for me it'll be a hard pass unless/until they get their pho game right. PT Noodles is one of my favorite Viet restaurants! This location is easy to access and is located near a Target and Starbucks... so it's super convenient to get all your errands done while satisfying that Viet food craving! The inside of the restaurant is always clean and well-maintained, if not a bit small... but I am glad to see them with all of their tables consistently occupied than having too many tables and wasted space. The food is always fresh and delicious... and their service is top notch, especially for a Viet restaurant! Gotta love an eatery that stays open until 10:00 PM! So the price is a bit on the higher end of the spectrum. My "Pho with Rare Steak and Tendon" was $8.29 but I was still impressed. I had asked for my steak to be on the side and wow, the quality! Was I looking at raw meat or fresh cut tuna? Dat color! The soup itself was very flavorful and clean. I'm absolutely drooling over how good it was upon reflection. My friend had got the "Special Noodle Soup" for $10.99 and was depressed over his overcooked chicken but that's for him to cry about in his own Yelp review. My bowl was bomb. Upon my second visit, I got the Papaya Salad with Pork & Shrimp and shared an order of spring rolls. The papaya salad was massive and super refreshing with great flavor. I also enjoyed the spring rolls although I wish they had peanut sauce and not just hoisin sauce with crushed peanuts. Most of the staff is great. There has only been one person I didn't care for, the younger lady, who was inattentive, rude to her co-workers, and turned the lights off on us while we were packing up to leave. The food was extremely mid tier. The noodles were extremely thick and the meat was hard to chew. I ordered the Pho Tai and a "sprite" which the waitress failed to mention was not sprite. The spring rolls were fresh, but the peanut sauce was not my favorite. The pho noodles were choppy as opposed to continuous long strands. This place has very good ambiance, and I am quite surprised how well I love the food! Literally, their calamari is a must try - the best one I have had in A WHILE! Their chicken and fried rice is bomb as well! Love love love it! I came all the way from central phoenix to try this place out since about all the Vietnamese restaurants close at 9pm in Phoenix - and I am glad I made the trek down to Avondale! This place was ok. I've been to better places for pho. The decor was nice and modern. It wasn't busy so we got seated right away. We got seated at the booth and it wasn't clean, still have some crumbs on the seat so I have to get a napkin to wipe it off myself before sitting down. For the service, I feel the waitress was rushing us. I know it's nice to have a fast service but we haven't been seated that long and she came over to take our orders when we barely take a look at the menu. My boyfriend order the vegetarian curry and the tofu spring rolls. I order the pho and the egg rolls. My boyfriend like the curry, got lots of flavors but he doesn't like the tofu spring rolls just because they only wrap 1/2 small slice of tofu for each rolls and the rest is a lot of noodles and lettuce, so I feel like it's a rip off. My pho was ok, I can find other better places for pho than this place. It was pretty sweet and I don't taste the pho flavors. I love the egg rolls though, very good seasoning for that. I just think it's a decent place to go eat, but not the best and I wouldn't recommend to come here if you want a good bowl of pho. read more

I really wanted to give them a great review but I don't know.... First off, restaurant was so hot. It's summer so please don't be stingy about electricity bills or whatever. We got seated right away but the server doesn't really put customer first. Is wiping down a table more important than a customer waiting? I can understand if they need to wipe it down fast when there's a wait but in this case there was only 3 tables and plenty of tables not being used at that moment. Server came over and drop off some water. After a few moments of looking over their menu he came over and took our order. Food came out, looks amazing but doesn't taste like what it looks like... We order their grilled pork with vermicelli and fried eggrolls. The meat was definitely 80% fat and the rest was meat (SEE PHOTO). Pork was marinated so sweet, and the fish sauce was on the salty side... I can't speak for their Pho because I'm not really a pho person but if they can't marinate the pork right I don't know if I want to even try their pho. Service was alright, they have a call button so they check up on us once and never came back. At first, this place looks good, is clean and has a decent vibe...though music is too loud and I think distracts everyone from the purpose of the restaurant. I had Pho Tai and spring rolls. The food came out quickly and the wait staff was very good all around. The Pho was fair because it was watery and I needed to add a lot of chili paste, and hoisin to bring it back to life. I suspect the broth is one of the instant broths and not (fully) homemade. They used less than a small handful of beef but included just the right amount of veggies on the side. The noodles were done perfectly. The Spring rolls are all about presentation but they short change you by stuffing greens to substitute the shrimp which was a minuscule amount. Lastly, the green tea was actually pretty good...but from a tea bag and in a styrofoam cup. I have a pet peeve about drinking hot liquids in a restaurant...they should always give you a real mug and a pot of tea. read more

Following all covid-19 procedures such as masks, tables farther apart etc. ---------- Previous Update - I've been back 4 times in the last 2 weeks every bowl has been hot, service excellent. It would have been awesome if it had been hot, as the basil and jalapeños add more flavor when the broth is hot. We stopped by this location to take a break and look around after a long drive from Sacramento. We decided to have lunch here and glad we did. It was a late Monday afternoon and the place was pretty quiet. First their menu was unique with a cool design on the front, I loved it. Set up was pretty typical but their decor are unique Vietnamese pieces with a clean environment. We ordered their happy hour pho which comes with a choice of 1 spring roll or egg roll and a soda. Chicken viet sandwich, Vietnamese traditional coffee, and a boba drink to go. The pho broth was fresh, light, and clean with a hint of sweetness. The sandwich was really delicious too, loved the chicken meat, you can taste the lemongrass herbs in it. Overall, delicious food and service was great! However, I was disappointed that they didn't make my boba drink towards the end because I can tell, it's been sitting and waiting for us. The smoothie was melted already but it was delicious because they use actual fruits to make instead of powder. If we live in the area, this would be our to go place. Therefore, we would recommend this location for everyone who loves asian food or want to explore food outside their comfort zone. read more
