Stopped in for dinner after being recommended from locals. We were set right away at a high top. Server was super friendly. Nice bar area with a few table games available. The menu was pretty good. We tried several different things and shared around the table. The food, was just ok. Each thing we tried (nachos, Brussels sprouts, chicken strips, hot dog, fish n chips, pizza) was mediocre. Nothing horrible but also not that wonderful. I would most likely not return if given the chance.

This place was packed!! Now I understand why! The servers were on point and the food was amazing! I can't wait to take my hubs there for a date night!! They had outdoor seating which is great for anytime it's not 100+ outside. I highly recommend you check this place out!

First timers. And it was a hit!! The host at the front was very sweet and accommodating to our needs. Our waiter was cool, he was very polite and knowledgeable about the food, which was a plus. He was also very patient with us because we were indecisive about which drinks to get. Even with having a big party, our food came out in a decent time and was hot. It was flavorful and well portioned. The decor was nice, it had a good vibe. Restroom was clean. A major plus. I recommend you check out this Pub.

Went there for a UA basketball game. They had all the tvs tuned to the game and the sound on! The food was great, especially the nachos, but the tacos, wings, and salad were also really good. Service was friendly and fast. Going back tomorrow for another game day.

Stopped in after doing the ASARCO mine Tour nearby - we had never even heard of the spot. It was after the lunch crowd but before dinner so it was pretty empty- but the space was clean and relaxed. Our waiter was super friendly and gave us great deink suggestions. We happened to order the exact same dishes as a table near us and we all laughed and agreed it was all pretty tasty. It is a far drive for us normally but I can confidently say if I was in the area I would go back. The Philly cheesesteak was so good I made my husband share. The pulled pork was equally as good so of course I didn't want to share!

I don't understand the bad reviews. I'm glad we took a chance. We were sat immediately, our server was Ananicia(??). I know I got that wrong‍. She was on top of things! It looked like she was the only server in this busy place but she did a great job! The food was delicious, I highly recommend the Sahuarita dog. We also had the Brussels and bacon which was just as tasty. It was lunchtime so we didn't have beer but they have plenty of choices. The decor was cute with the barrels. I highly recommend giving this place a chance, you won't regret it.

The reviews had me skeptical to try the place out, but it was just down the road and served drinks and had sports on so my wife and I gave it a shot and we were more than happy that we did. There's plenty of seating and we were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and genuinely looked happy to serve us, the other servers I watched helping other guests were also attentive and friendly. The margaritas we ordered were large and delicious, and the food was great. My wife and I enjoyed our time!

The lettuce wraps are the only thing I like here and I always crave them. The beer is cold and the bartender is nice.

This is really a sports bar, with TV's blasting everywhere. Don't go there for the food, or to have conversation.

A nice sports bar atmosphere. Good for family. Service and food were 3-4 stars. I'll come again.

Bellied right up to the bar, got drinks and menus immediately, waited less than 5 minutes to order food, and food was out in less than 10 minutes after that. My husband ordered a patty melt and fries (amazing and the patty was cooked to a perfect rare) and I had a "girl lunch" salad with some of his fries. Michelle was absolutely wonderful and it was lovely talking to her and another patron (may have been the owner!) at the bar about Bisbee and Tombstone. We hope to be back for lunch on our return home - 10/10, would recommend!

Our bartender was extremely busy, but she still managed to check on us regularly (kudos to her for that). For drinks, we ordered a house Cabernet Sauvignon and a draft beer, both were great. For snacks, we tried the chicken wings: half honey sauce (our favorite, crispy and delicious) and half bourbon. The bourbon wings had great flavor, though we felt they were slightly undercooked. Prices are very reasonable. The bathrooms were clean, but they were missing paper towels. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu

Dark beams, creaky floors, mounted longhorns, and a massive old Brunswick backbar that probably has more stories than half the regulars. Walking in feels like stepping onto a movie set, except the beer is cold and the people are real. The menu is refreshingly short: burgers, a couple sandwiches, green-chile stew, and usually a burrito or enchilada plate. Nothing fancy, but everything is made in-house and tastes like it. We were bummed they were 86'd on the beef burrito the day we went but the cheeseburger more than made up for it. Hand-formed patty, properly griddled with crisp edges, good cheddar, fresh toppings, and a toasted bun that held together. Fries were hot and salty. Service is friendly in that small-town "you're not a stranger for long" way. Prices are fair, the patio dogs are welcome, and there's live music on weekends that somehow never drowns out conversation. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Patagonia, make the detour. Grab a stool at the ancient bar, order whatever they still have left, and soak in one of the most authentic saloons southern Arizona has left.

Ever heard of a beer press? Ingredients to flavor your draft mixed in a French Press. Oh and the house made old fashioned bitters are tell tale cocktail elevaters that really shine. Bob also took time to read over sugar content/Cals on NA drinks in fridge with me, tiny writing and low lighting, he was very understanding and patient in helping to make a selection. The pizza? It's Jaime's from next door but no app or running there needed, the bar takes the order, delivers when ready and has the extra condiments behind the bar to parm red chili flakes or black pepper up your slices. The bottom is crisp and 72-hr cold fermented dough has great flavor as does the sauce which has slight tang and zestiness, and now my go to over Empire Pizza, my previous downtown fave. Got the Gorgonzola bacon salad with house croutons, heirloom tomatoes and for $7 small, it was plenty for both of us pre-pizza. It's large, nice and proper cold, so delicious and had the hubby singing it's praises, we can't wait to try another salad as the quality of ingredients and house made dressing was tops! Good Oak has a dark speakeasy vibe with long velvety drapes to greet you on entry, a photo booth to capture your pre and post giggly highs from what the gorgeous wood bar will provide, along a long counter with wood booths to hide away in and sip the night away. But at the end of the day, they're just too simple to be memorable. Really, these are cocktails for people who don't know much about cocktails. Just about everything on the menu is safe. Too safe. A few classics, and a few originals with like three ingredients. My Sonoran Old Fashioned (Tequila, honey, lemon) was OK but it didn't add any sort of bitters or house-made syrups for pizzazz, nor did it employ an agave spirit with any depth. What a snooze. Same for the admittedly cute drink featuring prickly pear--just straightforward and unimaginative. Nothing really appealed to me, so I went with my personal top-shelf staple--a Hendrick's and tonic. But they didn't even have Hendricks! Guess they were too busy using the limited space for a bunch of whiskeys. Spoiler alert: They don't even have the biggest (or most curated) whiskey list within a couple hundred meters. They used to have a kitchen too, and I wanted to try that, but it looks like they simply gave up on that in favor of outsourcing food to the adjacent pizzeria. I don't mean any disrespect, but there's nothing Good Oak can do that isn't done better by someone else on Congress. A charming and quiet reprieve from an otherwise loud and partygoing district, but if you want to be wowed by premium beverages, just keep walking.
