Went there 6 mo ago with a group of people, food rates 3-4 if it wasn't for that extra human hair embedded in my friend's flatbread. Waitress did not apologize and seemed very irritated when we ask how long it would take since we all had our food and she didn't. No apologies!!!! Service was ok besides the hair episode. Went back this weekend and my food was cold, felt more like it came out of the fridge. Had to chase our server down, took 20 mins to get new food, by the time, the other part was almost done. No apologies! Then I told the owner who gave me a nasty attitude about it and became very defensive. Read my private message on Facebook and hasn't responded. We, again, had the chicken rice bowl and it was as good or better than remembered. Our server Jake was awesome. We had to eat outside because we have a dog and he was very accommodating, brought water for the pup. If we could, we would only go when Jake is there, but sure that the other servers are very good as well. Good food, good brew, great service! read more

The owner came out to greet us and a few other guests, he made us feel very welcomed. The staff is very friendly and checked on us whenever our pitchers were running low. We came in to try the wings and they indisputably exceeded our expectations. We will be coming back, loved it! We also had a chance to enjoy and partake in kareoke. read more

Was down here on business with an associate. Went in for dinner. I paid for food and he paid for the adult beverages. Both on credit cards. Both had our credit cards charged more than what we authorized on our credit card receipts! Seems like they like to inflate the tips. The food was only so-so. We got in before Happy Hour was over and we did not receive the Happy Hour pricing when brought up we got a snarky response. Going back again???? I think not. Already disputed the additional charges. Stumbled upon Pub 1922 on the way back from Tubac to Tucson. Hostesses were friendly and helpful. We sat outside and service was quick and friendly. Waiter needs to learn more about wine choices whether he's a wine drinker or not. Other than that he was an excellent waiter. Had the fish and chips. Batter was just right and fried perfectly without excess grease. Fries were hot and well seasoned. My iced tea (I was the DD) was tasty, especially for a pub. Prices were reasonable. We had a great experience overall, and I would definitely return. read more

This place deserves no stars. The picture below is a $6 kids meal at pub1922 in Sahuarita......wow! My husband and I had the pork Mac n cheese and the pasta was hard! We love Pub22! We recently moved to Quail Creek and have been 4 times and each time was great. Servers are very nice, the food is really good and we like the atmosphere. We've gone at different times each visit and it's always busy. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I've had the fish and chips twice and they are excellent. I had the carne asada tacos on Saturday and they were good too. I'm glad we weren't swayed by the reviews. It's become a favorite hang out for us. read more

Visited with my husband for lunch since he works nearby. He has been a few times and says it was pretty good. Place was very open, airy and service was decent. Menu sounds fun and innovative but what actually came out of the kitchen was just okay. We ordered the short ribs/mac&cheese (rather bland and lacked that comfort creaminess that I was expecting), butternut/apple soup (overly sweet for me but husband liked it) and the pretzels (menu said it was served with 2 sauces but only a water cheese sauce was there along with an empty area for the other sauce??). My husband says that he is a fan of the French Dippers paired with a Purple Haze beer. Guess if I ever go back, I might just have to try what he says for once. Haha. read more

So I have read a bajillion reviews on this place since it's opening. It's the closest thing to a decent sit down place that doesn't close at 8pm here in green valley /Sahuarita. We have gone here a lot and have never had a bad meal. The owner/manager also makes it a point to stop and check it on every table, which I appreciate. I don't love a sports bar atmosphere, and when there is a big game on it gets LOUD (which I hate while Im trying to enjoy a meal) but other than that, I really have no complaints. I am a vegetarian and they even have some options for me, although I wish they would add a veggie burger to the menu! I have a love/hate relationship with Pub22. Being that there aren't many restaurants in the Sahuarita area, this is a decent place to go. The atmosphere makes it a great place to grab a drink. Their indoor/outdoor bar makes a beautiful Arizona day even better. Their menu drives me crazy. It is a different format than most and it drives me crazy. It's just not easy to read. Ordering a pizza from Pub 1922 is like ordering it from Papa Murphys! i.e. Uncooked! Having ordered one previously, I asked for it to be well done and not limp. Either the waitress or the cooking staff are ADD. Pizza came undone and limp. Pizza was loaded with good ingredients but pizza sucked. Stay away from this item! Service is always so so. I do love the food here it's very good. I think The pricing is fair. The only reason we don't come here is we don't want to have to deal with extremely slow service. Numerous times we've sat down and ordered drinks. And gotten our appetizers and then our food and then when we're almost done eating get our drinks. Went to Pub 1922 prior to attending a little league baseball game this week. Found out they have a pretty decent happy hour menu with drink and food specials. Didn't have any of the beer specials this trip, but we did order food from the happy hour menu. We had the quesadilla and bbq pork sliders with just soda/tea to drink. Quesadilla was just ok, but the bbq pork was fantastic! The specials were even large enough to split with 2 bbq sliders on one plate & 4 pieces of quesadilla on the other. We think the 2 sliders & fries would be plenty. Back to the bbq pork - tender, tasty bbq, with a pickle and onion ring, and piled high. Don't miss this one . . . and only $5. Service was good - drinks came quickly and refilled during the meal - food came out hot & fresh. Improvement from last visit Pub 1922 - keep it up! read more

Second Chance visit. We tried this place in Sept 13 after they had changed from El Charo. It was marginal then, so we thought we'd let them work out the bugs and try it again. BIG MISTAKE. Pricey and terrible food. I had Fish & Chips--12.75. the fish (2 pcs.) was mushy and tasteless. The fries cold and limp. A thimble sized serving of coleslaw. We couldn't finish the meal. My wife had Nachos with chicken--11.75. Made with cheese sauce type topping with a very little grated cheese on top. Cold and pretty tasteless. I think the only was this place stays open is because it is the only bar/restaurant in Rancho Sahuarita, but we'll definitely never be back. read more

I've been to the pub a number of times now and each time is just like the last... terrible customer service. Takes forever to be greeted , checked on and even get food. I waited 35 mins once for some fried pickles when the place was not packed (only to have a hair in it). I do like the menu but it's the customer service that's the worst. Visiting from Washington state, couldn't believe the quality of food put out for such an affordable price! BBQ burger was amazing, the sauce was divine. Nice selection of beers (Dragoon IPA was great) & happy hour prices were insanely good! No way we could find prices like that where we live. I will be back for sure next time I'm in town. read more

The waitress could not get the tab correct. it was corrected for Military disconnect and the price went up. Not Vet friendly al all. in the hour that we had waited for the tab, there was one waitress that I believe might have been with the walking dead. Never saw her doing anything but walk around real slow, I could only assume she was family to the place. My wife and I ordered together and my plate showed up an half hour later. We came here, from a request from my realtor. It was really good! I ordered the side salad and pizza. It was super yummy,and filling. Hubby had the fish sandwich and fries it was HUGE! Lots of fries. He loved it. The service was really good and fast. We got our food very fast and the waitress was really nice and attentive. Excited to come back to try more yummy things on the menu. Four of us went on a Tuesday evening and had the worst nachos and mac&cheese ever! The nachos had 1 Tblsp of chopped soggy tomatoes and the worst tasting jar of disgusting cheese poured over the nacho chips! The Mac n cheese was just as disgusting. Plus the waiter said he would be right back to take our order vanished for 20 minutes, later we had to actually walk over to the bar and ask where our waiter was!! The lettuce cups here are delicious. The service is good and the staff usually friendly... On the nights they have a singer her voice is great but it's too loud to have conversations at your table. It's not a bad little place to have a quick bite and enjoy a beer or two. read more
