The food is generally ok--the chicken tacos are pretty tasty. The issue is service. Our order was taken after 25 minutes of waiting...when I finally walked up to the bar and asked if I could order. Then, of course, my order was wrong: wrong salad dressing, meat wasn't cooked how I ordered, and no CHEESE on my CHEESEburger, but I was so hungry I dealt with it. Asked for refills on chocolate milk, and 12 minutes later waitresss walked over with a gallon jug and a promise to return with the chocolate syrup, which never came. Always the same waitress when we go, and always the same disappointing service. The waitress is very nice. I sincerely believe she is a good person, but being a good person doesn't make you a good waitress. We've been there several times, but I think I've reached the limit with my patience for such poor service. read more

We moved to the area about three months ago and found this place the first week we were here. We've used carry out and eaten there. Both experiences were good. When we ate there, we were a bit nervous if it was okay for our elementary aged kids, but the waitress assured us it was fine since we were on the restaurant side. The bar and adult darts, etc on one side of the building and restaurant on the other. The food was delicious and the waitress was great with the kids. I ate at pub 72 for the first time this past Sunday (around 1:30pm). our waitress came and took our drink order without wearing a mask. we looked around a noticed another waitress on the patio area who was unmasked aswell. when she came back with our drinks everyone at our table immediately put our masks on because we felt so uncomfortable with the lack of social distance and the unmasked waitress. the waitress stood to the left of me and leaned infront of my face to pass out drinks to everyone at our table. she was about 6 inches from me without a mask on. at this point I asked her if there was a reason none of the wait staff was were wearing masks. her response was that in Gilberts the town does not mandate employees to wear masks. I was appalled by this response since it is a state mandated order. our group continued to keep our masks on Everytime the waitress came outside. I will not be eating at this venue again for I feel that the safety of myself and the group was put in harm's way. read more

Despite being insanely busy for a fundraiser, they were very good. Food was tasty and prepared quickly. We had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, which was HUGE and the Blackened Chicken Sandwich. Went in just for carry out! Food was ready in 15 minutes! Younger male which could have been the owner was making sure all customers were thanked as they were leaving very outgoing and greeted me when I walked in. As I waited for the food the bar tender politely offered me a drink! Got home and the food was amazing! Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, half a dozen wings, and the sampler. Each were great portions and very tastey. The inside of the establishment seemed to be a very great environment with strong focus on customer service! We will definitely be back and next time we will eat there! read more

Was hoping the food was as good as it was when it was The Point so my boyfriend and I stopped in for a late lunch on a friday. I went to Pub 72 for the first time with my wife and daughter, but we won't be going back. Here's why: very bad service - we had to go to the bar to get refills on our drinks, silverware for our food, and pepper/cheese for our pizza...food wasn't that good - I got the Pub 72 burger and it had no taste (and I now feel sick from it), my daughter had the ribs and they were bad, my wife had the pizza and it was ok, but it came out 15 minutes after my daughter and I got our food, the fries and tater tots were very good, but the tots aren't worth an extra $2...patrons - there were 4 guys at the bar who were VERY drunk (at 5:30pm) and kept getting served; they were loud and ogled the few women in the bar; the owner and bar tenders seemed to cater to these guys to the detriment of everyone else who was waiting to be served...owner - he never seemed to help and instead just talked to his regulars; one family of 4 came in and after waiting at their table for about 10 minutes, they went to the bar to ask for menus; the owner saw all this and did nothing. I guess if you're a regular drunk, then this would be a good place, but I wouldn't want to go there enough to be a regular. I REALLY wanted to like this place, but the lack of service and poor quality of the food proved that this place is nothing more than a dive bar. read more

Food is great, ordered the jumbo wings with barbecue which are HUGE but delicious. Highly recommend trying their crispy fries since you can't get fries like that anywhere else. Prices are good for the amount they serve you. Servers are very nice and friendly. It is family friendly but it does get loud at night at times. Highly recommend this place to try. Only thing they could improve upon is just checking up on you more but other than that had a great experience. read more

We went there for breakfast today (Sunday). This is the WORST place to go for anything except to use the toilet. How is it that it can take 40 minutes to cook eggs and pancakes? Went there Friday early at 4:00 pm to beat the Good Friday rush, hoping to get a good as usual meal, but low & behold, there was only one person working the tables, the bar, & ringing out customers. No problem RIGHT!!! WRONG!!! She said it wasn't busy last week,& didn't expect it to be busy today. GOOD FRIDAY! give me a break! She put the order in for our fish fry, it came back with the wrong fry's that were cold, the fish was warm, she forgot the Tarter sauce & the lemon. Told her about the wrong fry's that were to Cajun Fry's not the house fry's, she went back & brought back the house fry's with Cajun salt dump on top of the house fry's. The price of the All U Can eat Cod was $11.95, got he bill the price was $13.95, gave to the owner, he said nothing to me, he took the bill & changed it to read Perch at 11.95, which the Menu said the price for the Cod was $11.95 & the Perch was $13.95. He gave it back to me & didn't say anything or explained what happen! When a owner doesn't care about their customers then neither do I care about going there again! It was a nice place to go but they like a lot of places change the way they do things ,& its not the same anymore. Yes! Our go to for a quick date. The staff is fantastic. We try to have something different to eat every time. We have never been disappointed. I wander how good everyone would still mention the brunch is if they had witnessed the owner talking on his cell phone while standing over the skillet of hash-browns and eating off of it with his bare fingers over and over again, then fumbling with his cell phone some more while using the other hand to pick more has-browns off of the skillet? Then watching the remaining hash-browns that he had ate off of/and ate over be served to customers. Talk about ewww!!!
