Pubbelly sushi in Brickell was a great experience. The restaurant was a trendy atmosphere very casual, but still nice restaurant. I went for drinks at the bar and had appetizers. I unfortunately did not photograph the short belly wontons. They were phenomenal and I will definitely be returning for those. The drinks were also very good. We were at the bar and it was a fantastic experience. The bartender was extremely friendly and made great recommendations for our drinks to pair with our food.

Located in the Brickell City Centre, this sushi spot is conveniently located on the 4th level by the CMX theatre. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. It was a busy Thursday night when my guest and I arrived. We sat in the bar and we ordered a few appetizers such as the spicy edamame that some spice to it (we are used to spicy so it wasn't too hot at all), shishito peppers, miso soup, and kimchi fried rice. The latter of the three dishes was served without the requested egg but the food runner was quick to bring it back with it right away. The restaurant has adequate seating and it has a comfortable setting with excellent air conditioning. The staff appear to work cohesively well with one another and that made the experience smooth and enjoyable. The dishes were overall tasty and it was a good place to dine after a busy day. I also noticed they had a margarita special early on in the week and am very intrigued to try that next time!

Overall, a lovely sushi spot in Brickell City Center. Excellent service (shout out to Lauren), and great tasting sushi. The regular menu pricing is not competitive, but if you catch their Happy Hour or the Monday/Tuesday 12 dollar rolls deal - it's worth coming. We had an early dinner on a Monday night (btw, that's probably the only Japanese place open on a Monday) - and the place was full of customers.

Wasn't planning on eating here, but it was a rainy day on a holiday weekend so all the restaurants in brickell city center were super packed with 1 hour+ wait times and this was the only place where we got sat immediately. Upon arrival, the host immediately greeted us and sat us at the only available table which was right behind the host stand outside on the patio, which was fine. With so many restaurants with long waits we were just happy to be sat, no matter if the table wasn't the ideal spot. After we were sat, it took forever for our server to come greet us. When she finally did, she basically asked us what kind of water we want and said she would be back but I made her take our drink orders as well as we had already been waiting for a decent amount of time. After we got our drinks, she took our food order. When the food came out, it was a little messed up. 2/3 of the people at our table ordered nigiri but they brought it all out on one plate, which wasn't an issue but we didn't know what was what. When we tried asking the man who brought the food out to us what was what, he must have misunderstood and he just took the food back. He then returned and had plated all the nigiri on their own separate plate. We didn't ask for this, we only were asking what was what. As for the food, I got the crispy hamachi and the tuna nigiri and salmon nigiri. The tuna nigiri had a super weird ketchup-like sauce on it which was kind of nasty, however, the salmon nigiri was super delicious and buttery. The crispy hamachi was also super delicious. I also enjoyed my drink which was the La chula. I don't think my 9 pieces of sushi and 1 drink was worth $80 but that's Miami for you. My friend also got the bang bang shrimp tempura pieces and we didn't realize it came with blue cheese crumbles on it so that was pretty nasty and inedible. All in all, this place was not the vibe. Service wasn't that great, it was kinda dirty, and food was overpriced for not being that great. Will not be back.

Used to frequent this spot several years back and I'm glad to see it is still around so gave it a try again this time around and overall I feel like the quality of the food has dropped significantly. In 2026, where consumers are looking at prices more closely than ever, Pubbelly misses the mark. It's not the worst experience, they do have some great cocktail options like the milky way cocktail. And the Japanese fried chicken is juicy and cooked perfect but tastes almost blank. Flavors are definitely not a thing here, prices for the portions you're getting you can get a better deal at several other locations, and lastly the service is questionable at best. The restaurant is not packed and you will notice several staff working, they really have a large team here which is great but why is the food, drink, and service so slow with so many people working here? Overall, not the best food, not great, just okay.

On a dreary Sunday, we were walking Brickell City Centre looking for a place and decided on Pubbelly as they had no wait. It took a while for a server to come over, and we threw in some drinks and an order of the Pork Belly Gyoza. The drinks took a while to come out, but were tasty. The Gyoza was fine but not my favorite. It took a while for the server to come back over to take our actual food order. I did the Crispy Yellowtail Nigiri and Buffalo Rockshrimp Tempura. The Nigiri was good, but the shrimp had blue cheese that was not listed on the menu and was not great. The rest of the food at the table was also hit or miss. Overall, would skip this restaurant if you are looking for somewhere to eat in Brickell.

Iveth was our server again this year. She was great and very attentive. Got to start and end with crispy hamachi. We ordered the grilled octopus. Once again perfect. We had the white hot roll, very good and a nice sweeter taste. Spicy tuna roll was very good too. We tried the featured brickell roll. Highly recommend! Very savory. Ambience is very cool.

I like the ambience here... the outdoor seating is cute, but it's generally hot and muggy (they do have some fans but I'm not a fan (pun intended) of my food and I being blown on during meals. The ambiance inside is nice and this place is generally easy to get in and seated quickly, it's the wait and service once you're seated that tends to be a little slow. The drinks here are good, and they do have a decent happy hour, offering a little discount until 7pm on a selection of food and drinks which is nice.. though make sure to check your bill after as the happy hour pricing wasn't reflected so we had to request it be updated. The food here is fine but nothing special really, so I generally just come here when someone else asks to try it when we're already at the mall. I do think the kids meals here are really good though-- the portion is a good size and the options are great. My kids are picky eaters and both ate most of their food, which were healthier options than most places, so that's a win!

My friend and I sat at the bar on a Tuesday early evening and were met with some great deals. All the handrolls were $12 and they also had happy hour deals. It was great! My friend couldn't drink any alcohol and asked for a mocktail, when I tell you I wanted to give back my beer and order the same refreshing cucumber concoction is an understatement. Sara, our bartender, also overheard us say we were celebrating a big and scary health related milestone for my friend, and surprised us with her favorite dessert, bread pudding. The rolls we ordered were delicious, the service exceptional, and the overall experience was definitely something I would like to repeat.

With so many sushi spots in Brickell I am usually not a fan of fusion style sushi with tons of sauce and cream cheese in the rolls but I decided to go into pub belly for happy hour to see what they offer. When was liking in you definitely get those asian vibes with the decor and the low light atmosphere perfect for a date. Above all I can say I was not disappointed with anything I ordered even though I didn't have their sushi. The octopus was cooked to perfection which is not something said lightly. It was tender and juicy and wasn't over cooked and chewy. The short rib dumplings legit blew my mind. Topped with Parmesan cheese to give it a blast of umami that I wouldn't have thought paired together but man was I surprised. The pork belly gyozas were also a big hit in my eyes. Pan fried just enough to have a crispy exterior without ruining the interior. Sitting at the bar the service was great! Very attentive, welcoming, and providing insights to the menu you wouldn't know unless you work or are a regular. I am pleased to say that I would recommend Pubbelly to anyone looking for great food and drinks on any given night.

If Miami has a love language, Pubbelly Sushi speaks it fluently through bold flavors, playful creativity, and plates that arrive at your table like little works of edible art. This isn't just sushi this is sushi that flirts with you. Step inside and Pubbelly immediately feels like the kind of place where couples lean in a little closer and families find something everyone can agree on. There's a buzz in the air warm lighting, upbeat music, and the unmistakable aroma of truffle, soy, and fresh-cut fish drifting through the room like a promise. The menu reads like a greatest hits album of Asian Latino fusion, but nothing prepares you for how impressive each dish tastes. The Butter Krab Roll is pure indulgence soft, rich, and impossibly comforting (Warning you may fall asleep after lol.) The Tuna Big Eye Roll feels like a love letter to sushi traditionalists, while dishes like the Crispy Salmon Roll and Tostones con Ceviche prove the kitchen isn't afraid to have a little fun. And then there's the (I say hands down) The iconic Pork Belly Dumplings soft, juicy, caramelized little clouds that disappear from the table the moment they land. If you know, you know. Pubbelly is thee rare restaurant where a family can gather around a table filled with shared plates and every single person kids included can find a favorite dish. It's also the kind of spot that turns date night into a memory, It's very cozy enough to feel intimate, vibrant enough to feel alive. Dessert? Come on you can't miss it. The Miso Bread Pudding is warm, sweet, and wildly addictive one of those dishes couples end up sharing from the same spoon without thinking twice. Whether you're celebrating, reconnecting, or just craving something you can't get anywhere else, Pubbelly Sushi delivers an experience that leaves you smiling long after you've left the table.

Came for dinner with friends to celebrate our friends engagement on a Friday night. We did not have reservations but were accommodated outside as it did not seem so busy that night. We started with a lychee martini which was stiff and perfect. We ordered a few rolls and dumplings to start such as the crispy salmon roll and the short rib & truffle dumplings. The dumplings were amazing. As for service, not sure if it was an off night but the second round of drinks never came, our crispy salmon roll never came as well. For the roll, I had to ask the waiter and even so it took an additional 10 minutes. We had an avocado allergy in the table as asked if one of the rolls can be modified and were told no as they're pre-made which seemed odd the roll took 40 mins to arrive to the table. No biggie though as many of their other rolls do not contain avocado which is nice. As we sat outdoors, it was nice to people watch and feel the cool Miami breeze that night. The indoor is also decorated nicely. Overall nice experience.

The drinks were really good! My only complaint is the price. Of course handcrafted cocktails are expensive, especially in Miami, but wow. The drinks were really small, and had so much ice that they ended up being not very many sips at all. They were definitely good, but the very small size for almost $20 a drink was kind of outrageous.

I locked eyes with one of the bartender and she completely looked away from me.. several times :( took about 15 minutes and we reached our arms out and flagged bartender Reilly. Her greeting and attention was genuine so I was happy to get her. Unfortunately, she got busy and we got the initial lady that ignored us. She was not kind, not attentive and didn't really want to help us - she was very fake. With that being said, we had to remind her of our drinks after 20 minutes of placing the order, in which she responded with an attitude "it's being made. We're busy" -_- -_- :( the attitude was not needed. We watched others that came in before us being served. :( I was completely annoyed and upset. She didn't even bring the drinks to us like the other bartenders were doing, she made us get it. Poor service from this one bartender while the others were happy and servicing their patrons. After our first drinks, I noticed she spoke to her colleague and he came over and asked if we wanted to close out.. . Wtf kicking us out? We said no and he opened a tab. When she noticed we were ordering more, she was a bit more attentive. So wrong. Luckily, the drinks were delicious. Perfect. We did end up coming back to the Lasseter and got a gentleman bartender that was so kind and attentive and made our drinks even better! The attention to detail and love he made in my drinks, so that is why I decided to make make this a 3 stars rather than two. He saved this place. The toilet sitting area is very warm, not very air conditioned properly so expect to be a little warm especially after a couple of sips. It's also the walkway to an actual big restrooms for the whole building. The drinks are VERY pricy but the setting is perfect and makes up for it. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. Disney priced drinks without the Disney customer service. Do I want to come back? Yes. Am I going to be picky with the vibes coming from the bartender and chose who to go to? Also yes. Hopefully, I can increase the rating.

My ladyfriend and I arrived early to the sound bar, and there was already a hearty swarm of brodents and thots lined up to get in. Some crack head outside was shouting about IPA's. I told the door servant that I knew the DJ or something like that, and he let us right in. Once inside, the bar has that edgy big city, small hallway type of vibe. You could barely stand around in there, let alone get to the bar to order a drink. The mix of flapping gums and mixologists concocting cocktails made for a cacophonous distraction from the actual "music" we were there to "listen" to. My ladyfriend and I ducked out across the street to Black Market Miami Bar where the game was on and you could actually order a drink that didn't cost $50+. After a few libations, we headed back to Miami Sound Machine Bar (they need to put 'Miami' in every bar's name down here in case you forget where you are). There was a weird looking guy playing depressing vinyls with singing in different languages. I was more in the mood for something upbeat and groovy like salsa or merengue that I could dance to with my girls. Although I did hear the 12" Andrew Weatherall remix of Happy Mondays "Hallelujah" at some point, a staple at the Haçienda nightclub in Manchester - an institution that shook the music world and changed club culture forever. The head servant at the bar looked like Nirvana (yes, one man looking like a whole band). He was jaded and rude. I don't blame him! As the night wore on, the crowd got larger and more deplorable, and the room got smaller and smaller. I got stuck in an awkward conversation waiting to use the bathroom. I don't think sound bars are for me. Pros: The bar across the street had really fair drink prices, and the servants are polite and efficient. Cons: the ratchet yuppies that inhabit Miami's nightlife, always on the prowl to ruin a subculture with their tackiness.
