Reserved a space for 10x20 it came as two separate units but you only get one lock and have to provide a lock for the other one out of pocket. They raised the price but can't maintain the facility. You can never get anyone on the phone unless you owe them money. People are always complaining about the lack of carts. The entry is disgusting. My things were put up for auction due to lack of payment and they changed the locks (understandably). Once the balance was paid and I went to move my things I realized the locks had been changed I was never given a new set of keys and when I called them about it and left several messages I never received a return call. I traveled over 500 miles to get my things was told someone wouldn't be able to meet me until the next day after having called for 3 days (to leave a message with the property manager) I ended up having to pay a locksmith out of pocket and realized someone had been watching me move on the cameras because the sent me a move out receipt when I never confirmed my move out. So you can watch me but you can't come open the door. You don't know what someone's situation is and what they may be putting in storage. Whether it's memories or they had to move from a home they loved unexpectedly or just overflow. I just wish people were more kind and this place lacks basic customer service and I would never EVER put anything I cared about here ever again. read more

There should be a rating less than one for how poorly Public Storage, as a company, treats its customers. That said, I have been a renter at several locations by necessity and there are some wonderful people working on-site, who have been extremely helpful. But as a souless corporate entity, they just don't care. They - the alleged corporate customer service - do not respond to calls, voicemails, emails at all. It is clear that their strategy is to ignore an issue until you go away. They will continue to raise prices dramatically, while offering great discounts to strangers off the street. Extracting money from their customers and customers are their victims. Tried to jack the price up $200 and gave option to move to smaller unit or vacate. Terrible customer service and horrible treatment. Will NEVER do business with them again. Units are terrible. No upkeep. Water gets into the unit and its all a patch job. No one is friendly and downright rude. They dont mind lying to you either. When I ask them to honor what they said, they said they didnt say that. When I told them to pull the recorded conversation, they wont. When I tell them I have the recording of what they said on my security camera, they say thats not legal. They have no honor. Renters beware. Public Storage is not customer friendly by any means! After having everything we own stored for less than 2 years while we were out of state looking for a new home we know are facing a a bill of over 10 grand for a company to come in and try to salvage anything that is salvageable because of black mold! Apparently there has been a roof leak that we were unaware of as we were out of state and now our unit is covered in black mold! Public storage is refusing to take any responsibility at all! we can't get a hold of anyone in their corporate office and the local and district managers have been worthless. They required us to purchase the maximum amount of insurance that we had to buy through them (5 grand) and that will not even begin to cover the damage and losses that we have incurred. Consumer Beware. I've been using this facility for the past three years, 10x10, inside unit, first floor, climate controlled. Automatic payment, so never missed a months rent. I am paying $217 for this storage, and it goes up every year, up already 12% since moving in. You can find similar sized storage with same inside, climate control for a lot less. Once I move out, they will rent to someone new, for less than what I'm paying - so they penalize the loyal customer, and give the better rate to someone new and unproven. Shopping around and will be moving to another storage facility. You can get a 10x15, larger unit, first floor, climate controlled, on South Boulevard Public Storage for half the price??? Shop around!!! Other Public storage facilities for the same product, in the same area for more than half the price. read more

Don't move out of your unit until the end of a given month. They will not prorate your monthly rent after the 6th of the month. Use a privately or locally owned storage facility instead. Other than that, this place was very clean and well run. read more

I've been a customer since Jan 2016 and every year the rent goes up. Last week (July 5th) I came into town to find all of this trash surrounding my vehicle. Apparently, the yellow dumpster belongs to another tenant however some random tenant was evicted and decided to use this tenant's yellow dumpster. This is the story I was given anyway from the young woman working on this property. She explained that this trash has been sitting like this since around Memorial Day. She referred me to the district manager, Jake & advised me to ask for a credit, which he said he could not do. Apparently they pay an outside company to remove their trash but she frankly said she wasn't going to clean it up (although she was walking around with a broom & shovel) because she told him about the issue before. It seemed that her main concern was about me stopping my auto-pay a few weeks ago and she assumed that I would be moving out, which I wasn't planning on until I saw this. But even if I was moving out that day, how could I move with all of this trash blocking my car? I don't think it's my responsibility to touch or remove the trash that has been laying on their property for over a month. Why would they even want their property to be in this type of condition for this long? The rent is too high & keeps increasing without notice. I'm highly disappointed in the response I received from the on-site employee and from the district manager, who as of yet is apparently not in town to confirm if it has been removed since last week. This is trifling and needs to be addressed asap. I would no longer recommend this property. read more

There were three units broken into and one of them was my unit, they stole some Disney Collectibles. I am vacating this storage facility due to lack of security, the thieves apparently cased the place one day and then came back the next day and broke into three units. Why didn't someone notice the thieves the first time they were there? And why didn't they review the camera footage, that should be done everyday ESPECIALLY when they tell you that your locks are missing! All I got from the staff regarding the theft was we think we might know who did it as someones locker was auctioned off in the row where the break ins were reported, and then this person is back on the property and they see him in the Video? Why weren't the police called right then and there? No Security and they won't let YOU look at the video only the police. read more

I have been renting a climate control unit here since 2012 and they have raised my rate every year at least 20% and the premises of the climate control area needs to be cleaned up and the exterior automatic door fixed. This time of the year the interior is full of leaves and debris and the automatic door you enter in from the outside is always broken and does not close all the way which allows the heat in this area to go right out the door. read more

Very disappointing experience with Jake Oswalt the District Manager. My rent was increased just over 25% after only occupying the space for 3 months. I informed Mr. Oswalt that there were 3 other Public Storage branded facilities within 5 miles of this one renting the same size unit for less than what I currently pay.
