I have 2 units (10' x 20' and 10' x 15') at this location, & except for the app not notifying the center when I leave, I haven't had any problems. New red head employee locked my unit while I was reloading stuff to bring from my car. I had to track her down. She informed me that it was "not my (her) problem." She had seen me on the location and we had even acknowledged each other, so she knew it was my unit. At 1 point, she said that if I didn't lock my unit, even when just reloading from my car, then things could be stolen. I had the door down, no one else was on that floor, and as for trying to keep my things safe- me being stuck waiting for her was putting them in much more jeopardy than me walking it up to store it. I tried to explain, but she just kept cutting me off. There was another customer in the office & I was in a rush (bcs I was volunteering at a nonprofit function tonight), so I suggested that she help him and then she could help me. Her response? "Oh, you're funny" (WTH?!??!) and then she walked over to the customer and, sitting at the computer, glared at me and said "I'm gonna take my time." And then she proceeded to CHITCHAT with the other customer! Seriously?!?! That's how the new staff is going to treat a customer renting 2 units and causing NO problems?!?!! AVOID HER!! read more

I have made an hold on the unit 1032 before online and given a price $178. And it wipes out from my internet. And I called 800 number and she disregarded my reservation and use her new reservation to change my quote on hold! And I used another and it allowed me to hold only this time! And if they had told me I will loose the 2nd month? Then I wouldn't have done it. Chanti told me just get it and she will help. So I had came back next day, and she wasn't there, someone else did. And it allowed messed up and had they told me? I would have 2 units ( 1029 & 1032) so bring my other units from other locations that is so far! 102725 I couldn't recall my passcode to access the gate! I am here and no one is here in office, again in the office. 102725- 102825 yesterday also. And I was getting the unit 1032, and it looks like it's been given to someone? Not fair..... Do not rent here. It's a bait and switch... complete rip off and rate hikes frequently without you knowing. No transparency in the fees and their rental contract basically just gives them permission to screw you. My rent is 9 days late today and they're charging me $376 for January rent or they're getting ready to auction my stuff?? They are perpetually busy, so don't even try to chat! I spoke to Chanti tonight on the phone. Not only did she argue the specifics of my contract, she lied about sending me communication via email. The pay for your 5×5 I rent a space there in the beginning my payment was $69.00 every year the price goes up now my payment is $119. I'm on social security so my payments is always late so I'm Charged a late fee which is $20 dollars so I had to pay $142.23 this will be my last month remember this is the smallest unit they have they get you with the free month rent that's there catch to get customers and after that it's a Rip off . read more

I I came in just before close and I did not know once 6 o'clock hit all the automated doors will shutdown, so I had almost felt as if me and my crew of help had rushed on over with for nothing. It has been a year since my last review, and I have accessed my storage unit about 3 times in that time period. Things have been stable lately: the bay door has been operational on every visit, and it seems as though the flatbed cart policy has been relaxed a bit, as both times I was able to find one or more hanging around in the cart returns during early morning hours before the office was open. All the pro's I listed previously are still true: air-conditioned units, well-lit, all my stuff remained secure in the unit. The biggest con has been the continued rate hikes: Over the past year, my rates continued to rise, and I'm now paying 75% over what I signed up for just 20 months ago. I started off paying around $97 including $10 of insurance in October 2020. My bill for 8/1/22 was $168 including $15 for insurance. read more

Love Chanti! Her dedication to customer service is unparalleled. She goes well above and beyond to ensure all of the customers are taken care of, even out of her own break time. On top of being ultra friendly, she's also very informative where it counts. Note, if you're a brand new customer, you must schedule an appointment to ensure you're taken care of. Location and infrastructure look solid. Climate control units feel adequate. Access is easy enough. There are only 2 elevators that transverse the 3 floors, and can get bottle-necked if you happen to chance upon moving/storage days. HORRIBLE!! The bay doors are always broken and they will raise your rent by $30 or more every 6 months! Horrible customer service as well when you call corporate. The individual people working probably minimum wage at the actual storage units are nice but anyone in corporate is extremely rude! Horrible customer service; they raise your rates several times a year and just got YET ANOTHER 20% increase. With the next update, there will be nearly a 100% increase in just over a year. The location on Rush/Decatur in Las Vegas was recently purchased by Public Storage. While the buildings were cleaner, the customer service left little to be desired. A few months after they took over the restrooms stopped being open. When I asked the person at the front desk to open the restroom he said someone on staff lost the key. There was no plan to find the key/change the lock. From that point on the restrooms were locked. Every time my kids or I needed to use the restroom I went to the front office, but staff were rarely present. I often had to take my kids home to go to the bathroom. I called the location manager several times and left messages. I made a complaint to the company. I called the location manager for a few other things as well and always left a message. I rarely received a return call. Poor customer service. Poor management. read more

GO ELSEWHERE - ANYWHERE - just NOT here. Every storage company around offers better rates/customer service. I've had storage units many times over the years, NEVER dealt with more unprofessional, sneaky, lying people like they have here. Monique is racially biased so if you're NOT African American decent, go elsewhere. Found things disturbed several times over the last year and now that I cleared it out realized a lot of things are missing - can't prove anything because conveniently they do not have cameras inside (makes sense huh!). Oh, but that $20 lock they force you to buy but they claim to have no master key for - B.S! Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out it's management going into units as the lock was always intact. Claim to offer "climate controlled" units - PFFFTTT - they haven't even turned on the "cooling" yet and it's the end of May - it's friggin 100 degrees - no a/c. You do NOT get what you pay for. Be prepared to sweat if you need to go to your unit for anything even when the "air cooling" is on - but of course, their office is cooled appropriately. Previous reviews citing the rate increases are absolutely correct - they go up at least once a year - my 10x20 increased more than $20/month. Look at Extra Space storage.. they beat the price and have better hours and are nicer buildings. read more

Climate controlled to 100°. As soon as your payment is late they threaten to auction your unit. Highly recommend ANYWHERE ELSE!!! No access after 9pm. No dolly/cart unless you can find the attendant. No bathroom unless you can find the attendant. Did I mention you'll be moving your stuff into a 100 degree building... wtf!? Climate controlled? We have 2 climate controlled units at this property. Collectively we pay nearly $400 a month. For the last 2 months we've come to our storage units and it's really hot inside. We've complained to the people working the front and each time they said they would mention something to the manager. Nothing has been done. We are moving out of our units as of yesterday (9/22) and today (9/23). Sweating like crazy because it is hotter inside the climate controlled space than it is outside at 101 degrees. Have to go outside to take a break from the heat inside. Not acceptable. Nothing is being done about it. Guy working there today could care less. Will definitely not rent units here again or recommend anyone. read more

Let me tell you about this place, I have never in my life hated anyone as much as I do this place. My husband and I was just a month behind and we had till the 25th to pay for our storage unit. So I called that Friday and I got permission to come and pay my storage unit. We went to pay and these assholes went ahead and Auction my storage unit and I lost everything from the time I was 15 years old till now. The sad part most of the stuff was my mothers and she had passed away and now I don't have anything left of hers. This place can sucks. read more

We made a reservation online. The staff was quick to follow up and confirm our arrival time. Our move in went smoothly .. only issue is I wish she had gone into more detail (price breakdown) of my charges. I figured them out myself after leaving. It took a little time to do the paperwork so I understand the $24.99 fee. The special $1 move in was what sold me on the place. Our unit should have been on the 3rd floor which wasn't available so we where given one on the 1st floor which of course was a major plus. She did however give me details of future cost and auto pay has been put in place. We shall see how the rental goes - plan to stay for only 3 months. read more

This property is clean...most of the staff is very pleasant. However, being a storage facility, they dont have carts to move stuff in or out. Against my better judgement, my mother chose this facility, we were told they had carts ordered, yet....there have never been any available. Considering the fact that the rent here is considerably higher than others i shopped, this is unaccepteble. Just received notice...after only a few months...rent is going up $15 !!!!!!! read more
