I rented here from November 25 to July 26. I had a 10x20 for $189. I was on autopay, so never late. In July, they raised my rent to 255 WITH ZERO NOTICE. That's a 27% increase. Crazy! I'm now at a locally owned storage for $151 for a 18x36 space. I gave up convenience and some access hours. I can live with that. Alycia was a pleasure to work with. Too bad. read more

If you are looking for a place to store extra stuff with peace of mind and amazing service then you found it. There is plenty of parking and a dolly if you need it. Convenient little store inside! So having recently lost my job, I've been forced to make a few compromises to account for the substantial loss in cash flow. One of which was to come to the decison to rent out my house. In order to accomplish this however, I needed a storage space for all my furniture and other larger items that I could not possibly stuff into my parent's house. Having explored both the locations, reputation, and afforability of various storage options in the nearby Roseville/Sacramento area, I finally came to the decision to try this location as it was only about 9 miles away from my house and had a fairly competitive pricing option ($92.15 monthly for a 10X15' storage space). I arrived at the facility around 9:45am on Sunday and they opened their doors at 10am sharp. The storge space itself is accessable via gate everyday from 6am to 9pm and the office hours are something around the tune of Mon-Sat 9:30am-6pm and Sun from 10a-2p. I had made reservations in advance online but did not realize that what I had reserved was a parking space (bah..not a storage space! GRRR). But Eliz (sp?) was very accomodating and immediately offered an alternative of either a 10X10, a 10X12.5, or a 10X15 space. Not entirely sure which would be the better decision, she immediately offered to show us the storage lots so we could see for ourselves how big they really were. After taking a look and weighing it against the price, we initially opted for a 10X10 space at $74.10 monthly and also rented a 10' Budget truck at the time to transport all of my furniture in. After loading everything into the truck however, I then realized, much to my dismay, that all the stuff would take a lot more space than I had realized. I quickly called Eliz (?) up and asked if it was possible to swap to the 10X15 space. She was more than accomodating and swapped me over without any additional charges. I was very impressed by their level of customer service and the facility itself is well lit, spaciously, easily accessible, clean, and has 24hr camera surviellence. I would definately recommend Public Storage (or at least this location) for anyone looking for a storage solution. read more

5 stars ! I've never had a storage until recently. I had my belongings here for about 3-4 months and I never had a problem or concern !! All the staff were always helpful and very friendly. The process to receive and vacate was super easy as well!! If I ever need a storage again you guys are my go to ! Thank you public storage staff for making my life easier !! Started my rental in Nov . 2021 and in Jan had issue due to losing my keys. That was all my fault but when discussed with front office was told they could cut lock off and would take two weeks. Also that I needed to be present, to accomplish that they would notify me when would happen. Called little after 1 week and left V-Mail but no response. On 2-16 decided to make trip over and found out new mgr had just started. Explained all to him and he found paperwork and info on what had been done without me there. I come to this establishment every few months to help my mom clear out her belongings. Last time I came which was early spring of this year the associate who helped was very nice and professional. But I went in today to help my mom with clearing some items and we were having issues with opening the storage. My mom went to check and the lady seemed lazy. She did not want to come out to help. Luckily we were able to open the storage. But I did go back in and asked if I were not there to help my mom would she be there to help? Because some people may need assistance and for the associate not wanting to come out to help wasn't good. It's part of their job to assist people with their storage. And if they cannot walk outside for just 5 minutes out of their day to assist someone then this job is not for them. The lady that was working is named Anne. Maybe public storage needs to see what people they are hiring. read more

Jackie was at the front desk when I arrived and I didn't have to wait. She went over the hours and requirements so I knew when I had to be off the property which I greatly appreciated. But in my rush to get my truck unloaded on a Friday an hour before closing, I did not pay close attention to what I was doing. I put a piece of furniture in the storage unit, locked the unit, went back to my truck to get a new load, went to add the next load into the unit when I realized I put my furniture in the wrong unit and then couldn't find the unit. Jackie came to the rescue and helped me locate my furniture and even helped me move it to the correct one. All in all we got a good chuckle out of it. Thank you Jackie. I have been a customer of this location a few times in the last 19 years. I have always been, as satisfied as one would expect to be, dealing with the overall self storage "experience". Unfortunately, one of my storage units was broken into last month. I received a call from an employee to notify me of the break in, in the early afternoon on the next day. When I arrived, I could not see a forced point of entry into the building where my storage unit is housed and wondered how they entered. I was told that they came through the external doors of the building. I asked how could that happen? Did they have a key? I was then told that they do not lock the doors at night! So I then asked the employee about the other security measures like the cameras and various alarms and got a less than satisfactory response. Consequently, I don't believe that there was an alarm event. I filed a report with the County Sheriff's Department. It turns out that a deputy I spoke with was unaware of any burglary or even an alarm event at this location! Also, according to Google Reviews, this isn't the only break in at this location, I read on a review that several more units where burglarized approximately a week ago with the same description of a less then helpful response from the Public Storage staff. I don't understand this lack of forthrightness from Public Storage and the apparent non-reporting to authorities. This location has always been staffed adequately, provided customer service and was maintained quite well until about the six months ago. I noticed very high turnover of it's employees and managerial changes. It seems, I never see the same face twice anymore! Consequently, this might explain the deteriorating services and support at this location and the obvious lack of transparency on the multiple burglaries! Stay away until its fixed! read more

I recently went to Public Storage to help my elderly mother with a few things and I encountered one of the most amazing employees while there. Her name was Cinnamon, I just love it. I'll never forget her, she was truly amazing. Her service was top notch; she made the establishment feel luxurious and it was one of the cleanest Public Storages I've ever seen. She was beyond helpful, organized and just overall a Wonderful person. She really helped my mother and I. I hope when I go back I'm able to get that level of customer service. I honestly hope I get it everywhere. I used a POD for delivery and pick up and they helped with pick up so that I did not have to stay to meet the driver for the last pick up. Every time I called the office with a question or concern they bent over backwards to help me. Customer service 6 stars out of 5! Property is clean and always had a feeling of safety for myself and my stuff in storage.
