I recently rented a locker space that had a special going. the special was that the second month was free. the first months rent was paid in full even thought it was around the 20th of the month. there was no bill due on the 1st but on the beginning of the next first an additional payment was required to continue access to the locker. thus the locker was cleared out prior to that day so no payment was due. all in all I paid for the first month as the special stated but did not receive the benefits of the free second month due to the way the payments were prorated. no credit of any sort was offered due to this inconvenience. I would think twice before renting and double check to ensure that any benefit you think you are to receive due to renting is actually received. read more

I made reservations online under my mom's name for her senior discount but I am the primary to get in and out of Storage for her due to her being handicapped.. we talked to someone over the phone who gave us a good price and said he added me on there and said it shouldnt be a problem to get it started. Well the same weekend I went down there to start my Storage and the phone kept ringing and no manager was found. I had to come back the next day, to them saying that I couldn't open the storage because it was under my mom's name and proceeded to charge me for it but only gave me back my lock money and then I had to open up a new account and get charged for that. Also they have the most terrible times when it comes to going and getting your stuff especially if you work a full-time job and they will close it on you and send you a letter if you're even 3 min in the storage after they close. I swear I have things in the storage i am now missing when I took it all out. I'm not saying somebody stole, but it's just kind of weird because I can't find them anywhere. Updated review: Don't believe a word this company says. Your monthly payment will be racked up almost a hundred bucks give or take, without you even knowing it. They lock you out, charge you lien fees, late fees, rent and schedule an auction for your unit after 2 months. They cut your lock off and make you pay $20 for one of theirs to get back into your storage AFTER paying your rent and the fees. They close at 5:00 but on the weekends they're open until 6:00. How's anyone supposed to have time to go through, drop off, or pick up anything from their storage if they work a regular 9 to 5 job? The only reason they've listened to me and what I was going through and why I couldn't even get over to my storage at all, was because I left them a bad review on their Google page, and they wanted me to change it. The employee who works at the counter was actually nice and said she was going to try to work with them and get all the fees taken off. That still left the payment I still owed almost $300, now over 400$ and that was only being late a couple months. First month may only be a dollar but then it racks up to 60 and then before you know it you're almost at 100 and I had no clue. The person who my space which is B191, BY THE WAY will auction out to is going to be very disappointed because all it is now are some blankets, some clothes and some candles, along with some Christmas ornaments and decorations my daughter's and I made together. Have fun with that mr storage thief. You guys all should be ashamed of yourselves selling and buying peoples lives. Luckily, I had managed to get the rest of my stuff, that was worth anything to anyone else, out before they locked me out again. I know people who have been behind 6 months at other companies and never had to go up for auction. Shame on you guys for treating people like that. Alot of people use their storages to keep their most important and valuable possessions that mean the world to them. I would review you guys a zero if I could and obviously I can't. my storage unit was broken in and the thieves left a lock preventing me from re-locking it to safe the balance of my stuff. I asked the attendant to cut off the lock. I was told that the locksmith would come in a couple of weeks. I asked her to give me another unit, the same size so I could move my stuff in there and lock it. I was told that I had to pay a prorated amount for the remainder of the month, which I had already paid for. since I wasn't going to pay double I opted to move out, but I didn't get the balance of my rent back. I was given the number of the main office, where I was told the same ( company policy) I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. but I was denied. Not only did I get ripped off by the thieves, but also by Public Storage Company. read more

We stored our belongings for about 5 months at this location. We didn't visit often, maybe about 3-4 times. Each time we ran into and issue and there was no property manager on site. Once myself and two others were locked out of Building B m, our codes weren't working. It took us an hour to find a property manager. We tried to move everything out of our storage, but the storage closes way too early in my opinion. They close at 6pm, super inconvenient. However, I will say we never worried about anything being stolen so that was nice. read more

Public storage unit Brady Lane Roseville has the worst customer service. They're not responsive. They don't return phone calls. They don't refund money while they charge you service fees for late payments. They choose not to return money in a timely manner. Their units are dirty and bug ridden I would never recommend them. read more

The PS located on Tupelo has excellent customer service. Jackie helped me beyond just ordinary, she went over and beyond. It was a pleasure having her as my representative. Thanks girl! On the other hand, you can't have access to your storage after 6 p.m and if your just moving your stuff into one especially.. I would think 9 would be a lot more do-able. So far so good, great move in special, super easy sign up, everything was super easy. They provide you with a lock for $20 which is nice if you need it but if you don't , np, the front desk lady will refund your $20 happily. My space was clean, the hall leading in was well lit and the flatbed dolly was very helpful. I rented from the public storage on Tupelo in Citrus Heights. I moved from a much more expensive highly rated storage in Lincoln and I didn't like how I was treated considering how much I was paying them. This place is much cheaper and I feel like my stuff is secure. read more

I have rented a storage at this location for going on 3 years, since then Public Storage has raised their rates twice on me. I moved storage units to save money, not move to have it go up higher. This year will be the second time that they raised the rates. The manager at this location is very nice and sweet. She is very helpful and respectful. I just don't like the company has to constantly raise it's rates on a single mom trying to make ends meet. I called around and found a much better place, that's cheaper and even provides you with a free lock. They have some great people working for them; but I'm very dissatisfied with this company and they will never have my business again!!!! Not to mention, while I was at this location, my unit was also broken into, and they couldn't even see the people's faces on their cameras. Horrible place: was renting a very small unit: was supposed to be 80$ a month and then without warning they raised the price to 164$ screw this run down place: horrible lighting, homeless people continue to walk in, they do not spray for insects, on particular visit I had to fight off black windows, not to mention the droppings of rats. We were at this location for a few months before we ended up moving out of town. They weren't the greatest place to rent a unit from. Here are my reasons: Problem one.....When we first checked this place out, we asked if there were any recent break-ins. The gal up front told us no. She has been there for at least 6 months and had no problems. That sounded great to us and we decided to get a unit. Well after a couple of weeks, we found out that was a complete lie. Multiple units had recently been broken into and they completely lied to us about it in order to get our business. After reading yelp reviews and Facebook posts from other renters, I was appalled that they had lied to us. I called back to ask the same question and they lied again. I told them that I KNEW they had been and the girl immediately got defensive. Problem number two... There is completely little to no security. The few cameras they have either don't work, are fogged over and are in useless places. The on-site keeper rarely ever makes her rounds and doesn't thoroughly check the units. Problem three... they are completely overpriced for the quality of service you receive. We paid $300 a month. There are many nicer places around, including a few in Roseville for half the cost and better security. Problem four... when we moved out of our unit, our couches and kitchen table/chairs were completely RUINED! We had found a RATS nest in our couch, with a dead one on the floor. They pooped and peed all over are living room set and chewed up our table. I was devastated!! When we told the manager up front, she didn't care one bit and told us that we needed to call our insurance. If you rent here, DEFINITELY get insurance or you are screwed. So, now we have ruined furniture and have to wait up to 6 months for our claim to get resolved. Ugh. Good luck and go somewhere else. read more

2 months into this storage facility and they are already raising rates. Incredible. No warning, just a bill saying my unit went up 33%. Not only that, but the place is only open until 6 pm!! Also, when i went to complete my online reservation at my appointment time, there was nobody there. The guy arrived 40 minutes late and i was on a time crunch because i had a flight to catch. Smh. Worst storage place. Look elsewhere and pay a little more because apparently, they will raise the rates to surpass the price of a better unit. read more

We have been here almost a year and not many problems expect they're never in the office. Our unit and 3 others got broken into and all we got was a I'm so sorry. Me and my husband opened a storage unit on the april 24th of this year only 4 almost 5 months ago and they have raised it up from 180 to 290 so a little over 100$ I contacted them due to them saying it was a locked in price... the lady I chatted with was extremely rude and said that they can raise it when they want to and that rent increased and ended the conversation they say that it is due to rent increased..... well due to this I am moving my business elsewhere... I type in online cheap storages.. well not super w by this but very annoyed. Public storage comes up first for 169$ same size and all.. so they raise there customers that pay rent on time every month..not okay at all the rudeness and have not even been there 6 months... very disappointing I'm always on time with payment so disappointed on how they are doing business now got to take a a day to move to a different storage where I will get better service and pay what I should... I'm very dissatisfied in this whole situation!!!!!! read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. Kelly is the manager and always says this place is like her home, it's great nobody gets broken into blah blah. Basically everything you want to hear before you make that great decision to move your belongings in a unit. I was waiting to move into another home so I moved my whole house into one of these units. I would show up often as all my stuff was there. I was there for a total of one week and 6 days to only walk around the corner and see two people destroying my unit, the whole thing was torn apart. I didn't have cell phone service to call the police unless I left the building. So instead I took photo after photo after photo. Thank god my husband was with me. In the end the community officer arrived.... right what a joke! I had to pick the criminals out of a photo line up in which the male did get caught and is serving his time. When I went back up to the front desk they had seen these 2 people typing in someone else's code at least 30 times in the past two weeks.. they are on camera in an open trailer taking my entertainment center out driving right past the office!! They were in and out of my storage unit at least 4 times, also broke into someone else's unit and the units next to mine were all attempted to be broken into. Kelly gave me the managers card and I called and asked for my money back since I had only been there for not even a total of two weeks and he said absolutely not, he was very rude. This place is a joke a complete joke. Do not rent here you will have your unit broken into. I am out all my electronic belongings and so much more. 6k at least. Pay the extra money and go somewhere that can actually keep your things safe. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SUED AND SHUT DOWN. DO NOT LET THE CAMERA IN THE MAIN OFFICE FOOL YOU, IT'S JUST FOR THE OUTSIDE AND ONLY LIKE 3 LOCATIONS. This location is probably the worst Public Storage I have ever dealt with. No one is ever in the office when I come during open hours, no one ever answers the phones to answer questions. Do not auto pay! I tried notifying the company I was vacating the unit and could not reach anyone (over the phone or at the office). I was out early evening on the 2nd of the month and because I was on auto pay, I was billed on the 2nd for the month and had to pay for the month for an empty unit. I have multiple units and have had much better luck at other facilities. My recommendation is if you need a storage unit, there are several close to this location but don't rent here! read more

This place is TERRIBLE. Absolutely no surveillance and we got our storage torn apart and broken into. Our lock was intentionally bent as of months ago, we had asked the office if they could fix it, in which they never did. Following that, it was broken into more than once. Thousands of dollars worth of jewelry was taken from us. There was a man with a shopping cart checking out each storage unit and we're wondering if he's the victim to blame for the stolen items. They refuse to prorate my moving out costs, I have to pay the full amount even though I leave 6 days into the month. $104 down the drain when it should be $20. read more

I recently needed a storage unit, I chose Public Storage at 6380 Tupelo Drive Citrus Heights CA 95621 916-722-8374 Dave,was very pleasant and helpful, he was concerned about what I was storing, so that I would get the best possible storage for my needs. He showed me the locker, and ask if if worked for me. The facility is clean also looks very secure. I am also pleased that there is an interior storage. If you are looking for a storage unit, and live in the area or not it's worth the drive to store your belongings here. I checked several locations, some were sketchy, and did not look safe, also very unfriendly service. I recommend this Public Storage as your best bet. read more

STAY AWAY! This place is bad. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. My storage unit was broken into within a month and there is no security or crappy cameras. The insurance is a joke and you'll never get any reimbursement without receipts and proof of purchase. The Police officer from CHPD told me the burglarys at this place are constant. We went and got another unit somewhere else, and the day I moved out there was a group of tweakers working on a car right out of a storage unit next to me.
