    Just disgusting sub bread!!

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service and hygiene at Publix #1226, located at 2275 Marietta Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30318. During my recent visit, I observed multiple issues: an employee's sweater sleeve came into contact with my sandwich toppings during preparation; bread was being stored next to the trash receptacle; and while preparing my food, she was behaving unprofessionally by talking about another employee. The young lady continued to work and ignored her. A manager intervened, but he yelled at the wrong person, then took the aggressive woman from the sub station to the back.So disturbing to see a man yelling at a woman. As a long-standing and loyal customer, I am deeply troubled by these unacceptable standards and will no longer be shopping at this location.I didn't want to give any stars.

I visited this location often before work to pick up lunch. On April 6th I ordered the Boars Head Italian Whole on White Mountain Bread w/ Smoked Gouda Cheese. When I sat down for lunch and bit into the sandwich I noticed something in my mouth which was very hard to chew. I literally had to spit out what was in my mouth and found a piece of plastic wrapped around the cappy ham. I took a pic before placing the remainder of the sandwich in the trash. The next day I called the store and spoke with a lady in the deli explaining my experience. She advised me that they would replace the sandwich and took my name down. I advised her I wouldn't be able to come back until April 10th my next work day. On the 10th I went into the store and went directly to the deli manager I located standing near the meat counter. I explained to him the situation and he said he'd have to call the person that took my name to verify. He came back a few minutes later and ask what type of sub I had previously. I advised him it was the Boars Head Italian Whole on White Mountain w/Smoked Gouda Cheese. He went over and began making the sandwich. I must admit I didn't stand there watching him making it as I was stand near the deli meat counter. The deli was extremely crowded. As I saw him placing the sub in the bag I advised it was suppose to be on White Mountain Bread. He stated that he forgot. I told him to leave it that way because I didn't have time to wait for him to prepare another one. I think he deliberately gave me the hardest sub roll they had available. The bread was impossible to bite down on. Maybe this is the way they punish the customers for requesting a replacement. When he picked up that sub bun he knew it was extreme hard and crunchy but continued making the sub. You would think he would try to make sure that I was completely satisfied the 2nd time around. This location have to do better in that deli and hire some people with friendly attitudes. Most of the older ladies are a bit rude and snappy when you ask them a question.

It took 30 minutes to get popcorn chicken, Went in at 6:00 after long work day and waited for it. I love the food and people working here, I would just recommend to have at least 1 or 2 popcorn chickens always ready! Thanks!

Love a shiny new Publix! we came out here after working in the areal for a few hours...I wanted to grab a few things before I headed home and one of my co-workers wanted to use the loo... This Publix is located at Moores Mill Center. It has a Red box https://goo.gl/maps/1B9pEKqB5Vq and a Western Union. There is a UPS store https://goo.gl/maps/AxALfx2BaFM2 , CVS https://goo.gl/maps/13iTfTzebPK2 and a Wendy's https://goo.gl/maps/YJ6DjFTUuaF2 I was able to pick up what I needed and head on our merry ways without a hitch...Thanks Publix!

This place opened last week but it's already my favorite grocery store. Except one cashier was rude to me. Still, 5 stars.

A trip around the world and a walk down memory lane…read more It's been decades since I stepped foot inside the Buford Highway Farmers Market, and being back felt like a beautiful reunion. The last time I walked these aisles, I was with my mama, Donna Theresa. So much has changed since then, yet the soul of this place remains as vibrant as ever. It feels more expansive than I remember. A true global treasure tucked right here in the city. I'm still obsessed with how they organize the aisles by country. In just one afternoon, I traveled from Korea to Eastern Europe to Central America, no passport required! I was officially "team sample" the moment they offered! Unlike the heavy, sugary profile of traditional American cakes, these were a masterclass in balance. I tried the Neapolitan, a stunning phyllo-layered creation that was light, buttery, and perfectly textured. But the Lemon Cream Cake? It stole the entire show. It looked picture-perfect on the shelf, and the taste was even better. It was so bright, airy, and just the right amount of decadence. Coming back here wasn't just a grocery trip; it was a win for my palate and my heart. Now that I'm back in the area, you can bet this is becoming a regular stop on my rotation. I purchased a pack of tofu along with some other items on March 11. I open the fridge a few days later on March 15, finally ready to prepare the tofu, just to see that the exp date on the pack was March 10. This picture was taken March 15 upon this discovery. I meant to update this review a while ago. I just can't spend money here anymore knowing that I'm liable to accidentally purchase old products. As customers, we should not have to be this vigilant at a grocery store... it's ridiculous.

Fruits/vegetables are fresh- in good shape- decently priced. I wish they were a bit more economical but quality is there. There are always deals if you watch for it. Submarine sandwiches- be ready to get in line but good news is- they are awesome! They are large and fresh. Bakery / Seafood/butcher- I rarely use so I can tell you it's there and always has someone ready to help. Publix bargains are BOGO or buy one get one. At first, I didn't think much of this program but over the years- I've really seen the value. Stack a coupon on top of it and really getting a deal. Pharmacy- really nice caring knowledgeable staff. They are always in demand and still take time to talk to answer questions and help. Free garage parking. A block from midtown marta station. They do have a reward coupon option app. Only negative is pharmacy, sandwich, & check out lines are long during rush hour. So, plan ahead to go before or after (5-7pm).
