Went here for breakfast and was hoping for the buffet I read about, but apparently it was taken away during the pandemic and never returned. That was a little disappointing, but whatevs I guess. I will say the breakfast we ordered was still phenomenal. Me and my wife both ordered a "build-your-own" omelet. I had a side of potatoes with mine and poured my gravy over-next level! Their potatoes were cooked to perfection where the edges of each piece were crispy. Woohoo! ...and that wasn't even the main course! The omelet was delicious as well-nothing really stood out about it, but very good nonetheless. One thing I'd like to mention is the orange juice we ordered-I know,...what could he possibly say about something as ordinary as orange juice? Well, they didn't put any ice in and filled the glass to the top instead of filling half of it with ice. It's the little things like this that make a difference in a diner's experience and it's good to see an establishment get that. After a long walk through the aquariums we landed hear with absolutely no expectations. Seated quickly. Drinks tea, sodas, blue moon, armaretta sour with dbl shot, loaded nachos with pulled pork, pulled pork sandwiches, fries, mac n cheese fried chicken sandwich. Everything was pretty good, my sandwich was not as hot ( meaning warmth) as it should have been but was still edible and pretty good otherwise. The sandwich was suppose to have cole slaw on it but they forgot it, when brought to servers attn it was corrected. Cost of all of this was around $80 bucks. Decent price, decent service. Will visit again. Bathrooms get 2 stars because per our party both men and women were stinky and unkept. read more

AWFUL! Doesn't compare to other Puckett's. Waited over 45 minutes for my takeout order, and it was missing the sides, and NOT what I ordered!! I brought it back in- asked for the Mac I ordered, and also the double CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN I paid for... What I was given instead was two small pieces of KFC looking fried chicken. I explained this to the server, as I get this same dish ALL the time in Franklin. I wait another 30 minutes - am brought out watery potatoes and THE SAME FRIED CHICKEN. The "manager" Eddie didn't care at all to assist during this hour, despite the fact the restaurant only had two tables- he was busy against the wall TEXTING on his personal cell. I asked for a refund- he proceeded to berate me and try to convince me that CFC isn't flat- and is simply "southern fried chicken." He also LIED when I called him out for texting on his phone while myself and an elderly guest waited FOREVER for incorrect food. What a crap show. I'm appalled. Now I can't even have dinner because while I was waiting for the restaurant to give me what I paid $50 for- everything else closed. read more

I've been coming here for a very long time well as long as I've been working at Erlanger. I specially love when they have the nurses appreciation day even though I'm not a nurse I'm still appreciated by the wonderful restaurant. Over the years though the portions have gotten smaller but the food still taste amazing. I love the Decour and the family feel. I would definitely recommend it especially breakfast. It was the only place in town that will be filled with scrubs early in the morning because they offer happy hour to healthcare workers that work night shift. read more

The main course I had was really good. I had the fried brownie, with ice cream for dessert. I was not to impressed with that one. The waitress I had seemed very courteous at first when i needed new silver wa. Due to the set at the table wrapped in a napkin looked like someone used it, and put it under the bed for a month. We loved this place and haven't been here in a couple years. We stopped in a couple nights ago excited for a nice meal, very disappointed. There were so many gnats at our table, my husband killed at least 6 and there were many more, just in the hour or less we endured our meal. It was freezing out so to me the problem is inside which leads me to further concern. The meals were good aside from a hot pepper on the nachos that about killed us. Food and service was okay. Went for lunch during our trip to the aquarium. Wife and I wanted to try the Farm (BBQ Plate with a little of everything) but they did not have any ribs. You can't be a BBQ spot and not have ribs. The dishes we did get were just ok. The Music City Chicken (Nashville Hot?) was not spicy at all. They use a dry seasoning instead of the sauce. The highlights were the Mac and cheese (so gooey and a little crispy) and their spicy bbq sauce was very good. Perfect amount of heat. Also they give you a little pancake that tastes like cornbread. We really enjoyed our experience here! My partner got the meatloaf, which he said was really solid, and I got the pulled pork. The pork was not too fatty and had a nice flavor. There were even some little charred end pieces that made it feel like it had actually been smoked for real. The sauces they serve are definitely on the sweeter side, but they are still tasty. I ordered egg white omlette and it took a while to come out, after which the waitress told me the kitchen made it with whole eggs but she noticed and had them redo. At least the waitress was attentive and quickly remedied the issue. My friend ordered the pancake and bourbon apple fried chicken and the chicken seemed a bit greasy and overcooked. The pancakes were surprisingly light and fluffy, but be forewarned, the bourbon sauce is pretty sweet so you may want to ask it be served on the side so you can control. Came here the other night and the food was delicious. I got the mac n cheese with pork in it and it was soooo yummy. Definitely recommend this dish. The server was great, asking us if we wanted to go waters. They had a band that was about to play as we were leaving, so it's nice to see that there was live music! Heck no, so we decided to try Puckett's offering for our party of 4 to enjoy a sit-down meal downtown. Worst food experience in many years in Chattanooga. Puckett's was not prepared for this event in Chattanooga and if they offered the same quality in Franklin or Nashville, they would never hear the end of it. Food was very substandard, portions were pathetic, service was poor, and the restaurant space is worn. Puckett's management needs to look at what they did in Chattanooga for the 2023 Thanksgiving Meal and never do this again. Horrible experience and we paid nearly $200 for about $30 worth of food. First time visiting Chattanooga as we moved to TN last month and decided to take the kids to the Tennessee Aquarium. We didn't realize it was two buildings and decided to get lunch at Puckett's in-between them as it's right there. We had such an amazing experience. Our waitress, Trinity, gave great service, funny, and made us feel like family. My wife had the Chicken Fried Chicken and I had the Brisket Cheesesteak, but you couldn't tell as there was not a crumb left behind. Almost ordered one for the ride home. Our kids both got coloring menus and got to tape them to the wall. They were so excited and proud of the coloring they did and that now everyone gets to see them.
