Half pepperoni 'n' chicken parm pizza pie. Always quality fresh ingrediants and always delicious

Best pizza you can get locally. I don't live in Pine Bush, and I will gladly take the 23 minutes to drive to Pudgy's for quality food. I'm a Bronx girl, and outside of NYC it's very hard to find good pizza. Pudgy's was a welcomed surprise for me and the family. Pizza is always made fresh, with quality ingredients. Even better the service is great! They are there to serve their customers, and you don't need to be a regular to be well regarded.

    Fries

Stopped in for a quick bite. We had a slice of the pepperoni, and chicken bacon ranch with a side of fries. Really good. If you want a fast satisfying meal. This is it.

I assumed it was ready. THEN, AFTER I WAS CHARGED, they admitted they did not turn in my order at 7:00 when I first called them. I have evidence on my phone that I called. This is crazy. Then I was told to SIT IN MY VEHICLE while they cooked my pizza. I live in a nearby town. I was tired from a long day and hungry, so I waited. The pizza is half cooked and tastes terrible. No, I can't drive back to Pine Bush tonight. This is not good service at best, and dishonest at worst. I was told I could get $15. off on my next order. No coupon, nothing to prove that I can do that. They have my first name only, and my phone number. So no, this is clearly NOT a real offer. I will never, ever go back there again. And the pizza? I don't think it would be good even if they did cook it, and they did not do that. Horrible place.

As for food, I loved the garlic bread, never had with tomato sauce and raw minced garlic on top. It was good and more mellow in punch compared to garlic butter. Chicken soup was good, the noodles were very al Dante, but way more celery and carrots than chicken. Jamaican beef patty was good, nothing dissimilar to what you get elsewhere. The zuppa di pecse , the penne I got with was good, very al Dante. Plenty of mussels and clam, all cooked great, but man only like three shrimp which was a letdown. But credit to them they butterflied shrimp and cooked so it was tender but not rubbery. The sauce was flavorful but wish it could thicken since it was watery. Credit to them for having cheap lunch specials if don't want dinner portions on their menu.

I call and they say they can't do anything and if I can drive in to pick up the dressing and cranberries. So I say to myself ok "small business" it's a mistake don't worry I'll give them another shot. I was wrong. April 19th today I ordered a pasta dish. 2 seltzers, rice ball & a cranberry walnut salad. Again the salad has no dressing, the seltzers are missing and no rice ball. I call again now a-little more angry than last time. Request a refund. They tell me they can't do anything. To call the app and ask for a refund. I call the app to request a refund for the salad that has no dressing for a second time. And they only refund me for the missing dressing? Where they said they will give me a refund for the salad. Who eats salad without dressing? I do not recommend this place. I only recommend if you like eating dry salad without dressing.

The pizza slice was great, plenty of pepperoni coverage and sauce and cheese melted well, plus the crust was not burnt, but I will say the slice itself was pretty greasy. Now the panini the bread was well pressed and toasted, plus plenty of cheese, chicken and thousands island dressing, but fries on side, were a salt bomb, I mean they seasoned alright, but way too much salt on them, I had throw them out. Otherwise I mean great beside that. Now the Nutella knots, I loved those, knots cut in half and spooned on Nutella on them like little chocolate dough sliders with powdered sugar on top.

Everyone knows that good pizza can only be found In New York City and North Jersey. I discovered…read morethat it's allowed all the way up in Walden as well. My friend placed a pickup order and I brought home the special - Deal 2 (large pizza, baked ziti, large salad, garlic bread) plus a side of calamari to split. Asked around, got agreement to add sausage and eggplant toppings, plus we spiced it up (hot pepper, garlic, touch of pepper) before we left. Pizza: Thin crust, I could have eaten more than the 2.7 slices as we split the pie evenly among three people. Toppings are generous and taste great. Good sauce and the right balance with cheese. Baked ziti: Poor friends usually have this saved for next day. With me around, it wasn't gonna last. I indulged in this cheesy pasta goodness. Salad: OK, it's salad. We added balsamic vinagrette dressing but didn't check when we left and got a second French dressing instead. That's about the only flaw for Franco's, and that happens anywhere. Garlic bread came with some marinara. Drenched in sauce but still had a little crispness to it. If I wanted it extra crispy I could have pan-seared it, but at least it wasn't droopy. Calamari: Quite good. It had gotten a little cold by the time I was able to dive in, but if I ordered that fresh at the restaurant I bet it would be amazing hot out of the oven. For the short time I was inside, I looked around and it's a nice casual pizza joint, plenty of room to sit around, plenty of dine-ins, and a second room behind. So Franco's is a Walden joint I will recommend to all in town.
