Over belly is a wonderful restaurant pretty cheap atmosphere was wonderful and the food is very delicious

The breakfast was alright. They possibly have the world's blandest, taste free sausage. The cinnamon rolls were big and tasty though.

Pretty much blown away I expected a wait time of like 30 mins on resurrection Sunday at minimum! Got in and set in 5 seconds flat with a line! Because everyone ahead of us was a table for 2-3! First time it payed off to have a family of 5 :) quick service and waiting on the food now! read more

We came here for the first time and oh my goodness. First we got a HUGE cinnamon roll as it was our first time. Then we got our orders, huge portions and tasty food to boot. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with two eggs and hash browns. My wife got the avocado and bacon omelette and she got a second cinnamon roll, but got ordered it to go. Our five year old got the Jr. mouse cake. All of the portions were enormous. They were so very tasty. Highly recommend coming in as the portions are extra generous and the prices are insane for the amount of food. Our five year old stated it is not the best place in the world because it has "Too much delicious food". Come try it and remember they are only open until 2pm. read more

Completely overpriced for the quality of the food. My burger was terrible and could have been easily mistaken for a hockey puck. The atmosphere desperately needs an update. Everywhere you look it feels like decades of dust and dirt have collected. Took my kids to experience the train station....we were so dissapointed. read more

Pufferbelly is a great place to eat. The local family we were visiting took us there for breakfast and it was an awesome place. We ordered the cinnamon rolls which are very inexpensive but taste like they are very expensive! I even went back the next day to take 2 back home to California for my family who did not go on the trip to Colorado with me. LaDonna was an expert server who made our morning fun! read more

Spent part of my summer in Grand Junction last year(I'm from California) and couldn't find a decent restaurant, until my husband and I found Pufferbelly! So obsessed with their Mile High Burger!! By far the best burger I've ever had! Fresh buns and amazing mushrooms! Going back on the 20th of this month to eat another burger!! read more

After having stopped at Pufferbellys for years it has become evident that the high standards for their fare have slipped to the point where we are no longer stopping to eat there. We have looked past the dated decor , bathrooms in disrepair to enjoy home style cooking. Our favorites have been the green chili smother and sweet rolls. Both have been compromised by poor execution of these items. Someone or somebody has changed the recipe or the ingredients. The green chili is not the same, almost like they have resorted to canned products. The famous sweet rolls are now half the size they were and ours were hard on the edges and dry. This led is to surmise they where left over from a prior day. BTW we arrived at 745 in Grand Junction from Salt Lake City. We Drive to Denver to see our grand children 8 to 10 times a year and have made our favorite stop Pufferbellys. But alas no longer . BTW Piling more potatoes on a plate doesn't make up for the loss of the authentic Colorado Green Chili Smother. Egg and I here we come. :( read more

Dude this place is the bomb to get any breakfast food that they have my favorite thing is the hobo breakfast it is a big plate full of food and you can get a giant cinnamon roll with it and prices are fairly cheap. I am 15 years old and i get full eating there and to get me full takes allot. read more

We just recently started eating here we go out for breakfast every Saturday. Wait staff are all amazing, portions are huge we are usually eating for 2 more days, only suggestion would be that the cinnamon roll needs more cinnamon in it. read more

Pufferbelly Restaurant has the best cinnamon rolls! We got four to go and they are so big I needed 4 individual entree containers when we got them to go. Sorry no picture. They didn't last very long once we opened the boxes. New favorite place in Grand Junction! read more

The gal at our hotel recommended for breakfast as THE best in Grand Junction. She was right! Service was friendly from the second we walked in the door. It was obvious that local residents frequent here. We had steak and eggs with a side of fruit and cinnamon roll - the fruit was fresh and the cinnamon roll was amazing and moist. Took my family here after stopping in Grand Junction for lunch on Spring Break. My wife and kids loved the pancakes. Service was good and the prices were very reasonable. It's not a fancy place and if you are looking for extravagant food then this is not the restaurant for you. But for us it was a nice break from chain restaurants. read more

Have only had breakfast here (many times). They have a great early-bird menu with great pricing and the servers are very friendly.

Best breakfast in town every time I visit I try to eat here best biscuits and gravy and good bacon at here a month ago still great.

We ate there this morning as we were traveling on Hwy 50. Great place! The food was delicious and plentiful. Just as great we're the staff who helped us. The young man who was hosting was so mature and poised and made us feel welcome when we hit the door. LaDonna our waitress was so sweet and had great suggestions. We were brought a homemade cinnamon roll that was yummy as could be. The English muffins were served with a raspberry sauce that was fresh and so good! Our chicken fried steak breakfast was one of the best we have had! I highly recommend you try it the next time you are near Grand Junction, CO. read more

Great place if you don't mind waiting an hour and a half for something Denny's would refuse to serve their customers.

The food is pretty good at Pufferbelly, but I was unpleasantly surprised to find that no real butter is served with their beautiful fluffy biscuits! Not even available! Please! Your biscuits &pancakes are "starvin'"for real butter! read more

Visited The Pufferbelly Rest for the last time. The greeters are not friendly, obviously act like they don't want to be there. Waited 30 minutes to seat 2 people, while others walked in or called ahead for seating and were served before we were even called for seating. Got fed up and walked out, been going there on Saturdays for years, but not any more. Last time we were in there, the service was terrible, took 20 minutes after being seated to even get a server to our table. Its obvious, if you are friends with the people working in there, you will get the best, First! Also, after we finally got served, the food was cold, and not at all like it use to be. Frankly, there are a lot of other good place to eat in Grand Junction that have better food and superior service, treating everyone fairly and in the order at which they show up to eat. We will be eating out at other great places as the Pufferbelly no longer deserves our patronage!! read more
