This business might be a scam. They have come out to fix our refrigerator twice - and no complaints there. But - the same problem persisted weeks after the second fix. I tried calling - left a message. Again, left a message. Left another. Then my wife. Then me again. No call back. So - I was frustrated and scheduled an appointment. I didn't get any confirmation, so I called again and got the answering machine. I called back from a 503 number and low and behold, I finally talk to someone. They said that I have an appointment (tomorrow at 1PM). I saw something like - 'I must have missed the confirmation message' but there was none. The next day transpires and it is a no-call no-show. It is the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I left a final message saying it seems like you are screening your calls and not responding to me for what I can only think is you don't want to have to fix the repair you made that did t work. Then my wife started calling again and again... got someone that said they would 'transfer her to accounting' -- HAHA! There is no 'accounting department' - what a scam. I just can't believe you were just so bad at every aspect and interaction. All the calls, the messages unreturned, no confirmation for the visit, the no-call no-show, how easy it was to get a hold of you from a different 503 number, and then the lie about the accounting department. We had incredible service a few months ago for a repair on our dryer and the technicians were fantastic, prompt, and knowledgeable. After they left, I even recommended them to neighbors. After using the dryer the next day, we noticed our dryer still won't heat well and takes multiple cycles to dry clothes (exact problem as before). I have called the company and left four voicemails and cannot get a call back. Is this business still open? If so, we had great service but the repair (which was very costly) has not fixed the problem on our dryer which is still only five years old. This company is pathetically unprofessional. They charged me a couple hundred dollars to repair my 7-year-old fridge that stopped making ice. They stated the part is on back order. That was nearly a year ago! They do not return calls, emails, or chat messages. They can't or won't even give me the part number so that I can source this plug-n-play control board myself. Biggest mistake ever using these jokers. We initially spent $2700+ with them on Subzero Fridge and DCS Range repairs. Ended with the owner, Jordan, swearing and threatening to come after me and my wife personally on the phone. Hired them to save time and get a professional repair, cost us time and money and incomplete repair instead. Look at the few other negative reviews and their BBB ratings for a pattern. Lesson learned, we will use factory authorized professionals to clean up their mess, and in the future. It took four trips for them, the second trip they didn't replace an oven igniter they billed us for, the owner, Jordan, blamed my wife when it was clearly on their work order. They billed $450 parts + $125/hr labor + tax to replace our oven hinges. We discovered after that visit they didn't actually replace the hinges, they replaced two $10 parts instead that takes 10 minutes to do so. The said the 20x mark-up on that was for their "Warranty", I had them take it back since that's clearly nuts. They threw our some of our required parts out when they took their $10 parts back, and haven't gotten replacements. I was persistent but fair in my follow up with them. My asking for these parts (after waiting months) and for our full refund on the work they didn't do (we received partial), led to Jordan flipping out. Pattern of blaming the customer, overcharging, not completing the work promised, and Jordan revealed he is a complete asshole which explains it all. I'm sure he'll have a creative reply to this review. (I mixed up, we dealt with Bob and Jordan, I guess Jordan is the asshole owner, sorry Bob). read more

Can you tell me when I might expect to see it? Buyer beware! Contractor showed up on time, 7/11/23, at the rental unit. I paid him over the phone for the repair. He told me he made the dryer element repair, and then I learned he told the tenant he would return to make the repair. Next day we had the dryer vent cleaned by a different contractor, and a bird nest was found in the vent. This contractor said there was no sign of past or present problem with dryer itself. I then phoned Puget Sound Appliance (PSA) who said they would reverse the $567.79 charge (heating element and labor) on my charge card. This never happened. I challenged the expense with my card company on 8/8/23. PSA then provided the card company with an invoice I had never seen and included a penciled in no refund policy and a forged signature. This is our third time working with Puget Sound Appliance Tech and had another superb experience. Our dryer was making unusual noises (again - man, consumer appliances aren't exactly built to last anymore...) so I scheduled an appointment with these Puget Sound Appliance Tech because of the two positive experiences we've had working with them in the past. They again had great communication ahead of time, were super friendly to me and my wife, wore masks the whole time, and had the problem figured out within a few minutes of arriving. They had the replacement part with them, so within about 20 minutes of arriving they had the dryer fixed and no more noise. They also identified an additional problem with a belt that was starting to fail which they replaced as well, saving me from more problems in the future. They also left some stickers for my toddler, which she was very happy about. Thanks guys! Will happily work with you again in the future. Needed the element in my oven replaced. They were quick and efficient in getting back to me via Yelp. Not only that, but the owner was able to diagnose my problem before showing up so the price quote was what i paid. He had me send pics on my phone; it was great and so easy! The other quotes I received were a price range based upon what could be the problem. Also the two techs they sent out took safety seriously. I didn't feel uncomfortable with them in my kitchen. They were masked correctly, gloves and shoe covers. Very professional and friendly; also gave good tips on my old oven. I had considered replacing my oven range set but after their visit I've changed my mind. I was being "snobby" because it's older but it works great. I used PSAT once with a great experience before and didn't hesitate to schedule when I had a broken dryer. Unfortunately this time did not work out. I scheduled my one hour window appointment and received a phone call 50 minutes into the hour to say the repair person was en route and would be there at 15 minutes past the hour. 50 minutes later, I called to see if he would still be on the way only to be told he went to another appointment. No notification, no apology, no follow up. So now I'm out almost two hours of my day waiting around and still have a broken dryer. 6/17/21. In response to your reply, no one showed up at my house. This place came up first when I searched for appliance repair after looking for someone to look at my oven/range and thankfully, I am very glad that I choose Puget Sound Appliance Tech. In a nutshell, I was smelling some smoky burning from my oven and wanted them to check it out. I messaged this business asking for a quote and got a quick and prompt reply with an upfront servicing fee while asking for the make/model of my oven/range and eventually scheduling a visitation date which i find very proactive. Day comes and I am greeted by 2 techs who came by ahead of schedule, acted very professionally, and came by wearing as much protective gear to keep myself and them safe due to the current Covid19. I am glad that they were able to diagnose my range and confirmed with me that these is no gas leak or anything wrong but rather only needed a cleaning. They did not need to do this but they manually cleaned my oven/range, consulted me on what to do which I found to be going over above and beyond my expectations. Right as we went into Stay At Home this spring, our refrigerator (only 6 years old and well cared for) started behaving erratically - freezer too cold, fridge too warm. When the first repair place we called diagnosed our case as a "lost cause" over the phone, we started pricing out replacements. 3 grand! As a hail Mary, we reached out to Puget Sound Appliance Tech via yelp. 5 mins later I was chatting with Jordan about our issue on the app. 3 hours later, he was at our house looking it over. He quickly diagnosed a malfunctioning part, which, while not cheap to fix, would be far, far more sensible than replacing a fridge which should be with us at least another decade. Jordan ordered the part, it arrived early, and he was back out here ahead of schedule to fix. Here we are a week later, and everything is working as it should. Holy crap! These guys are awesome. For real! I made an appointment through their website. Jason (and another nice, very proficient technician) arrived on time. They quickly diagnosed my problems (Leaking fridge, over-icing freezer) and clearly explained to me in lay man's terms what they found and wrote up an estimate. After agreeing to the estimate they promptly had my fridge/freezer up and running in tip-top shape in under thirty minutes! It's running even better than I thought. The service call was $150.00 but was applied to the labor cost. My actual part was $190.00 but they did WAY more work to fix and correct the problem. Total invoice bill was $373.66 (After taxes). Considering a new similar fridge/freezer side by side costs well over $1400, this was a deal. This company is professional legit. I highly recommend. read more

Recently had my viking gas oven repaired by Jordan from Puget Sound Appliance! Extremely knowledgeable. The oven was make a popping noise every 2 and a half minutes into a preheat. We called numerous repair companies and no one could figure out the problem. Jordan popped the back panel off, looked at a few wires and troubleshoot fairly quickly. A loose wire was apparently sending power to the fan motor. Jordan rewired and used his expertiseX now the popping sounds are gone ! Quick, efficient, solved the issue ., highly recommended !!! I live in San Diego but have a condo in Seattle with a tenant with a refrigerator that had stopped working. It's very frustrating to find and communicate with vendors when out of the area. A lot of them couldn't get out there for at least a week. However, Jordan and Puget Sound Appliance Tech were very responsive, got out there on the same day, diligently addressed the problem and gave us options. They were very accommodating when I was bouncing around with the idea of getting a new refrigerator but after not being able to get a new one delivered in a timely manner, Jordan was very understanding, ordered the part quickly and will be out there as soon as he receives the part. Loyalty and trust are a huge factors when dealing with vendors and I'm so glad I found them. They will be our appliance vendor for life. read more

It is such a pleasure to deal with a repair person who is both friendly, highly competent, and fair. It's seems old fashioned somehow. Jordan (the owner) arrived at our house on Saturday morning; first thing he did was put protective booties on his shoes. It's a small thing, but I have never had a work-person be so considerate of my house. He removed a shelf in our Samsung four-door refrigerator that I (and numerous engineers!) had been unable to remove and clean. After I blissed out cleaning four years of spills and gunk out of the nooks and crannies, he carefully and respectfully taught us how to put it back in and remove it for future cleaning. He then gave us an estimate on fixing our old Amana refrigerator in the basement which had decided to conk out while full of salmon last summer: he had it fixed twenty minutes later. I had called Samsung to see about getting someone out to remove the shelf: they referred a Samsung-specific repair company who would charge $140 for the visit, $160 per hour, plus parts, and only do Samsung, so they couldn't fix the refrigerator in the basement. $300 to remove a shelf that is so badly designed that industrial engineers couldn't get it out. Puget Sound Appliance Tech waives the $100 visit fee if they do repairs; I paid for parts (which he had in his truck) and $85 for labor for both refrigerators. I don't really want my appliances to break down, but it will be a pleasure to call Puget Sound Appliance Tech to come fix them when they do. read more

Prior to this Puget sound appliance tech, I had another company come out and gave me a quote of $415 for part replacement and labor. I was skeptical of the cost as I thought I might as well invest money into a new fridge for that cost. But tech, said I did not even have to have that part replaced. And better yet found the root cause of the issue and repaired it for less than $200. I really like that he was honest and did not overcharge me like the other company was for. Our Samsung dryer stopped working this week. We purchased it in 2009 when we moved into our brand new home. We sent out a request for a quote using Yelp. Jordan from Puget Sound Appliance was the first to get back to us. Within 24 hours Jordan had arrived at our home in Bothell and repaired the dryer with a minimum of disruption to our lives. Jordan was prompt, professional, friendly, and knowledgable. He showed me the parts that weren't working and explained what was wrong. I can't any enough good things about the entire repair experience. Instead of buying a brand new dryer and having to deal with the hassle getting the new one delivered and getting the old one removed we ended up getting our existing dryer fixed and working like brand new at less than half the cost of a new one. Jordan told me on the phone where to find the model information on my stove, and they happened to have an opening that same day. While they were repairing the oven, I mentioned that one of my burners had always been difficult to light. We agreed they'd order the part for that, and when it came in last week they called to make an appointment. I was looking for a dryer repair company to fix my Samsung Dryer that was only 2 years old. My wife wanted to try and fix it rather than buy a new one again. I got a few responses from other companies but Jordan with Puget Sound Appliance seemed the most familiar with Samsung dryers. He came out and had all the parts that were needed to fix the dryer. He fixed it very quickly and charged a very reasonable price for the parts and his time. A month or so later the dryer had problems again. I called Jordan again because I trusted his work and I knew he would figure out what was going on with my dryer. He came out again free of charge and determined there was a recall on one of the parts that failed in the dryer. He ordered the new updated part, came out and fixed my dryer again. There is no doubt if any appliace fails again I will be calling Jordan going forward. His customer service is second to none. read more

The owner/operator is very friendly and responsive. I was able to get an expedited appointment to review our dryer, which moved from squeaky to clanking. Upon inspection, and some voltmeter readings he determined the motor was about to fail. Unfortunately he was unable to price out the replacement parts for our GE Dryer and advised the cost would be quite high ($300+$200labor) and that we replace the whole unit. We appreciated that input and took it forward searching for a new one. Since we were unable to find a replacement for the red dryer, we started looking at buying a new set. Before deciding to buy a set, I decided to get the GE techs back on the calendar and make sure the diagnosis was correct. The GE techs diagnosed some bad rollers and fixed the whole thing for $180 including the $100 visit fee. 3 stars for prompt and polite service, but I didn't (appear to) get a correct diagnosis, and almost spent a bunch of extra money. //Responding to Jordan: I trust that you would have replaced what was necessary if the tare down was done. But you didn't start a tare down within the diagnostics visit/fee and advised against the tare down strongly citing it was a failing motor and we should replace the whole unit. You were also unable to find and quote the motor cost for some reason. The additional point was that the GE tech diagnosed the issue within the same ~$100 inspection fee. read more

The best repair experience we've ever had! We were soured from previous dealing with another company for our Viking range 12 years ago, and actually put up with having no oven for over five years because of it, which was so silly in hindsight! Totally own that one! Rudy and Jordan arrived promptly, had all the parts with them, even praised the old Viking as an "excellent workhorse worth keeping." They were clean, courteous and friendly and put us at ease with thorough explanations about the issues we had with the range and what will fix them. They worked well as a team, with obvious respect for one another. Even polished the appliance when done, including the oven door glass. Not a smudge was left in my kitchen afterwards. The repair people were friendly, considerate, and very good at explaining the problem (broken drum), the needed solution, and how I could avoid future problems.
