They recommended a great system kit, and we worked at a cool plan that I'd barrow the car to "get the oil changed" while she was at school. Then I dropped it off after the real oil change. In one day they installed and hid all the wiring necessary, including the amp, boost switch, etc. I had asked them not to hook up the speakers or else she'd know. So instead they temporarily hooked them up, showed me how to do it on Christmas Day, then rebid the wires for me. They put dark tape over the light indicators on the amp so she wouldn't notice something hiding under seat. They tucked the booster under the dash so there wouldn't be any visible buttons. The trunk wires they hid under the trunk carpet by the spare tire! That teenager drove around for a week without any idea she had an entire system hiding in wait for Christmas Day! In Christmas morning we sent her on a treasure hunt that ended at her car and she was brought to tears of excitement! What a great team at DFM! They collaborated, kept the secret, and took extra steps to ensure she didn't notice anything different. They even trained a non-technical mama how to hook up the speakers for a bonus surprise and immediate use on Christmas Day when they'd be closed! Awesome job! Definitely 5 stars! Thank you!

In the end, I went with his suggestion. I also had him replace my horn that was dying (he founds lots of corrosion probably due to me living next to the coast) and hardwire my front and rear cameras.
