Solv provider screening email confirmation. Beware of changing wait times!
    Ann L.

My family and I had to take a PCR test for traveling at the crazy peak of Omnicom during the holidays. Like many other urgent care facilities, you do a provider telehealth screening (so they can make money), the provider orders the appropriate test, then you visit their physical drive-through locations to do the swab test. You have to sign up for MyQuest (Quest Diagnostics) in order to receive PCR results. Some pros and cons: Pros: - Preliminary Solv check-in through Solv and MyQuest sign-up was easy and smooth. You have to make sure you verify and follow all instructions, and it takes about 10 min for the COVID test (not the result) to show up on MyQuest. - The drive-through process was good- organized and smooth and took about 30 min from arrival to swab. You wait in line, staff signals you to drive up to the main lot where you get a car ticket number where you are swabbed then you drive to an adjacent lot if you want to wait for your rapid-antigen result printouts. The lady who did our swabs was very friendly and sweet. - We did our swabs Sunday 4PM, our PCR results came back the NEXT DAY Monday 1:30PM! Results came back efficiently with no delays. VERY annoyed with the PulseMD upsell tactic!! Cons: - The wait to speak to a provider online took ~1hour (normal wait times was ~15 min). We kind of expected this since everything was slammed and backed up but Solv should have provided an accurate time counter on-screen versus the one where the wait-time just kept refreshing and increasing. Confusing user experience overall. - The provider ended up calling my cell phone because the telehealth systems were down. It was obvious the rep was stressed and was VERY curt and rude. We felt that she kept trying to UPSELL us the rapid PCR tests ($250pp) and scaring us that the PCR tests now take about 3-5 days since she knew we were travelling in 3 days. Note: - I have T-Mobile, and there is NO data in that area whatsover. Bring a book or download your shows/podcasts. Hoping the telehealth screening experience can be improved with clarity and accuracy of wait-times. Also, please don't upsell us, such a turnoff.

It's a real cluster here. They asked my daughter ( who tested positive w/home kit) where there's Covid testing. Waited and waited.

Of course, let's get to the $$ first. Then Waited. Was told it wouldn't be long. 4 people in the waiting room, I was still there when 5 people came out of the back. Waited some more & asked to use the restroom again. She said "oh, you sure, we were just going to call you." Confirmed an exam room and sent me in. Then sat down with her phone. I waited. Really needed that restoom as I was vomiting & had diarrhea. I then came out of the exam room to stress I needed the restroom. I was directed to the locked one in the lobby (where I had tried to go already but was stopped). Eventually a young lady came in for vitals, asked why I was there, when I told her my doctor's suspicions (cyclosporasis) she had no clue what I was talking about. How is that even possible? Then I waited some more, When the "provider" came in I had to desperatly use the restroom again. When I came back out I had to go look for her. Always follow the phone. So, I explained why my doctor suggested I come. Diarrhea, vomiting, sweats, for 3 days. She then started lecturing me. To paraphrase: I don't know why people keep coming in here thinking they have this; this is somethine we haven't seen before; you could be under the weather, or you could have ate something. "Yes, that's it, I ate something!" Well, the only way we could determine that is with a stool sample, I offered to pour one into a cup right then and there. "No we don't do that here." So there's nothing you can do? I was rewarded with that sumpathetic, patronizing eye roll. I left, and now here I am. Dr. Ruvo, hire competent people. Not even an offer to hydrate. Vomiting/Diarrhea for days and "too bad, so sad?"

This office seems to have lax protocols for mask wearing of employees…read more I would give this location a 0 starts if that was an option. I was at the office today in person during a raging Covid epidemic. One of the employees who appeared to be a cleaning person - I say that because he had a spray bottle and a cloth in his hand - was walking around with his face mask only covering his mouth. It wasn't as if his mask just slipped down for a moment - it was way below his nose. I had to tell him to fix his mask. I wanted to bring it to the office managers attention so I went to the front desk and asked to speak to the office manager. I was told to wait there. While I was waiting the front desk staff admitted someone who also only had their mask over their mouth. This seems ridiculous for a medical office.

They want you in to get your co-pay and then get you out as fast as possible. One star only because 0 stars was not an option for the visit and because the office manager, Shannon, followed up with me after hearing of my displeasure. She deserves the star, not Dr Della Torre.

That is already unacceptable on a Monday, even worse not reflected by their online scheduler, which showed all time slots wide open. Reception also failed to disclose any delay when I checked in - I would have been content to run errands for that hour instead of my valuable time being wasted, as well to avoid sitting at length in a wait room with a sick patient. I inquired at the one hour mark how much longer, as I had another pending appointment, and the doctor snapped at me that he was alone and the other patients were more important. When he finally took the 60 seconds to remove my three stitches, the doctor continued to berate me for being impatient and insignificant compared to greater medical crises that reach walk-in clinics - crises, by the way, for which Emergency One's own website instructs patients to visit an emergency room, not their facility. I tried to politely suggest that perhaps E1 should abandon its scheduling tool, as it can create an unrealistic expectation for the patient - but I was wrong about that as well. In fact, I was '"lucky" to get in when I did. That doctor is just nasty and belligerent, a first-class *ss hole. Never coming back!
