My son and I came here for his friend's 4th birthday party. We had a great time! The entire place was just for the birthday boy and his friends. It was endless fun for all of the kids! There were employees who were available and super welcoming. When it was time for the cake, the birthday boy's mom made the cake and the employees served the cake as well as the food (pizza for the win). This place is awesome for older kids. My daughter was only 18 months when we took her to a bday party there and there wasn't much for her to do but avoid being knocked down by bigger kids. We definitely want to take her back when she's older. The jumpy part is fun for kids but the business part of Pump It Up has become shady. They changed their pricing not long ago and it's no longer worth it with fine print about certain details forcing you to spend much more (ex. Pizza no longer included and you can't bring your own). Took my grandkids here and they had a blast but there was a school field trip (or something like that) happening and the kids were older. One girl threw a ball really hard and hit my grandson right in the face - immediately after I told her not to throw them so hard and to throw below the waist. Pump It Up is so much fun! I have had a few birthday parties here and let me tell you, it is a blast. I'm not sure who has more fun, the kids or parents! The staff are all very friendly and SUPER helpful throughout the entire party. All I had to do was bring the cake and the kiddos, and they took care of the rest. It was super easy! They do all the set up in the party room, the clean up after the party AND they also take the presents and left over food to your car! This was truly the best experience. I also found out that they are open to the public Monday-Friday from 10-11:30 and 3:30-5. We will definitely be checking that out. Everyone had so much fun! Took my daughter here to meet up with a friend and her kids. Being pregnant, I couldn't really get on anything and bounce around and I grew tired of chasing my eight year old everywhere. There is not a lot of seating and the benches that are there aren't close or visible to the door. I would have like to have sat quietly by the door where I could have seen my kid play (just I case she slipped my eye I would have felt safer being near the only exit). This would have kept me here longer and would have made me return a second time. Instead I walked all around the room calling her name the whole time making sure I could still see her. The room is a bit cramped for how many blow ups they have stuffed in one area. It was interesting to me that the only person working was located in another room and that there wasn't anyone watching 30+ children go crazy on giant blow ups (yes the parents were there but I figured for insurance purposes there would be one employee saying "no don't jump from that to that" since parents rarely watch their own children anyways). All in all, my daughter had a blast and was out of energy by the time we left. So it's a great place to bring the kids when you want them to nap off the rest of the day after a good time especially when it's raining. read more

I have been meaning to write a review of this place since August. We were having our daughter's 4th birthday party at the pump it up in Cotati and their AC broke, so 3 days before the event, we scrambled to find a new spot. We landed on Pump it up Santa Rosa and could not have been happier. I wish I could remember the manager's name because she is incredible, but really the entire staff was incredible. We had such a good experience and I'm so glad we switched locations because, despite the longer drive, this experience was perfect from beginning to end. This place is such a rip off $800 you basically get an hour. They rush you through cake and pizza. The pizza didn't even have any sauce on it and my granddaughter didn't even get to open up any of her gifts. This is the worst place I have ever been and we have been to plenty of places for children. I do not recommend this place at all save your money. not only that you have to pay 1599 for each set of balloons that sits on the table so that right there it was $65 extra just for the balloons. Had my daughters birthday here. Great place for a kids birthday! They take care of everything! Just had to show up with a cake. I opted for a glow party ( black lights, lazers.) The kids loved it Pizza ballons and capri suns! They took care of everything collected the presants. Set up a room for us and even wrote down who the gifts were from. Pumped up kid + pumped up inflatable jumpy things = Pumped up parent It was $7 for an hour of inflatable excursioning, which was more than enough time. I wasn't sure how our little dude would take to it but after about 10 minutes of convincing him that we weren't going to disappear, we spent the rest of the time trying to keep track of him. Halfway through, the shades go down and it gets all disco-ey and blacklighty but it doesn't seem to faze the kids. They're too busy sliding, climbing, bouncing, and laughing - and for some reason, it's fun to watch. At the end of the session, the shades go up and the house lights turn on. A gentle voice thanks you for the visit and asks you to kindly leave. Our sweaty-headed offspring was not very happy to leave but eventually obliged. If you feel like being a cool adult to someone who can excitedly jump and climb on things for an hour, this is your place. read more

We held our son's birthday party here. Everyone who attended had an awesome time. The play area was clean and very well-maintained, which was even more impressive given that another party had used the facility shortly before our group. And the young staff they have there are outstanding! Incredibly helpful both over the phone, as well as the night of the party. They were accommodating in every way imaginable. If I had to say anything critical, it would only be the business' policy that doesn't allow parents to bring in outside food to consume themselves while the party is going on. The party packages are great, and provide the necessary items for the kids, but for any parents who are staying to supervise, if they want to eat something, they have to leave the grounds to do so. This can be an inconvenience if the party is being held during dinner hours, as ours was. We dealt with it just fine because I had alerted everybody about it beforehand. A little flexibility there on that policy would be nice. Nevertheless, the party was a smashing success, and we would definitely host another event there in the future. Enjoy taking my children here to let them run around and play. If you have younger kids I'd recommend not going during spring or winter break. My almost 3 year old gets easily intimidated by the older kids and then tend to be more rough in the jump house. I've looked at pricing for parties and it seems a bit much for a few kids to jump around for 90 minutes. I understand you get the place to yourself but still!! Update: The employees working today were amazing! The attendant working in the play area was great!! She got involved and helped kids who were a little timid to jump by themselves. She even pulled out a toy car for my niece who didn't want to go on any of the jumpies. (Other times we've gone the attendants would stand around looking bored or trying to sneak a peek at their phones) They even gave me a pass for all three kids I paid for because my niece didn't want to participate. We have had 2 birthdays for our son here and they have fully rocked!! So much jumpy fun! One was a glow theme and YESSSSSS! Make sure to where some white and have fun glowing! Glow sticks or glow accessories are fun to wear for this type of party too! :-) If you are going to open jump, they do a little glow bit at the end. I really love the staff, how clean everything is, how much fun we have EVERY time we go and that they have open jump times when we don't have a birthday to go to or planned here. This has been quite a popular spot for birthdays the past few years for us! My son is 7. ;-) Don't forget your socks and your energy, if you need a little break, there is air hockey too! We decided to throw our 7 year olds birthday party here over the weekend. This is the first time we had a birthday party with all my sons friends. We got the 90 min classic. We added on the glow party and air hockey. The glow party is a must. I'm very happy we did it. It made the experience much more fun. I loved that the parents got to experience it all too. I'm pretty sure we had just as much fun as the kids. The second part of the party was in the break room area. We got pizza/juice added on and we brought in our own cake and bottled water. The staff did a great job. I brought my own decorations and all I had to do was hand over everything and they did it all for us. Our host was Tony. He did an amazing job! He made sure to get pictures of the party and made sure everyone was having a good time. He checked in to make sure we were happy with the set up. He passed out pizza. Cut the cake and handed it out. It was amazing that we didn't have to do anything. My only complaint would be pricing. It gets pretty expensive adding on everything and you don't get much time . We spent over 500 for the party and it was only an hour of play and 30 mins to eat pizza and cake. And they don't go even a minute over your booked time slot. It would have been nice to have extra time to play and eat. But those packages were even more expensive. So overall it was great! But something that is very expensive so most likely a one time thing. read more

Pump It Up is a warehouse full of bounce houses & bounce slides. It's a great place for the kids to burn off some extra energy especially in the winter when it's raining outside. Jump sessions are about an hour and a half each & $7 per kid. Kids absolutely have a great time here. They have a party room so this place can be rented for birthday parties as well. read more

I've been looking for a place to hold my three year olds fourth birthday party and came across PumpitUp. I had reservations as my boys are two and three and wasnt sure the age restrictions for the play area. I decided to bring boys in to see if they liked it and like is an understatement. They LOVED it!!!! Once the open jump was over we booked my sons birthday party and hes been talking about it all day! We are all so excited! He cant wait to jump on the bouncy's with his friends. The girls at the front desk were super nice and sold the experience. My only complaint is I wish I could pay to add the glow in the dark party half the time but I know that's not the staffs fault. I truly recommend this place for a great party. The staff was quite amazing and definitely took care of the birthday girl and everything about being there and enjoying the experience. They had everything dialed in without anybody's help. Very kind and considerate. When we were all done in the jumpy section of the place we moved to the party room where they set everything up in there and even wrote down all the gifts from each and every person who gave something. Not impressed for the quality vs. the price. Our party package was ~$450 for 15 kids. There are limited jumpys & the 5 year olds were bored in 10minutes. This package was supposed to include a photographer and a bubble bash the last 20 minutes. However the staff didnt bother to check the bubble machine before hand & after 10minutes of no bubbles I had to hunt someone down and wait for them to refill the machine. The "photographer" turned out to be a staff memebr haphazardly snapping pictures with an outdated digital camera. They didnt even take a single picture of the events in the party room. Not of the cake, not the birthday boy in the special chair, nor opening presents. I didn't take pictures because I was enjoying my son and thought it was taken care of so I have not one decent picture of my son's 5th birthday party. The cake was home made with edible decorations. The staff memeber removed them ALL and set them on a plate to be thrown away and plunked the remainder of the cake in the present box at an angle no cake should be placed. Definitely dissappinting and safe to say we won't be retutlrning! read more

I have been going to Pump It Up Since I was a teen and after they changed owners about 1 and a half to 2 years ago everything went downhill. There is insulation exposure, the staff is almost never in with the kids, when the staff is there they are rude, I pointed out that the kids were breathing in insulation that was falling down and nothing was done. I bought a Groupon to visit this place. Clearly the Groupon was designed to draw people in so you can see what the place is all about. They had 4 different inflatable playgrounds, each a bit different. My 3 1/2 year old daughter found the whole experience a little overwhelming until we went with her through the obstacle course and up and down the slide. Aftewards she had a blast. The place seemed clean and there was always a staff member present to ensure the older children do not get out of hand playing near the younger children. This is a great place to do a drop in and let the children burn off a bit of energy. I get to visit a few more times with the pass that I purchased and we will do that! The parties seem a little expensive but from the reviews found here it sounds like they are well staffed and take care of a lot for you which is always a big help. read more

Excellent place for a birthday party! After I had to find a new location for my sons fourth birthday party last minute, due to weather, I called Pump It Up. Not only did they squeeze me in, but their customer service was great. All of the women who work here genuinely enjoy their jobs and it shows. The kids had a fantastic time and the staff did all the work for me, even writing a list of who gave what presents and then taking them all to my car. Very fun place for kids.. Took my nephews here and they had a blast. The customer service was great. The parking was spacious. The only complaint was that it was super busy so there were so many kids running around. The kids loved it when they turned off the lights and had the laser lights on...pretty awesome. They also had s cool machine that the kids can go into and then they have fast air blow into it so it seems like there is a windy storm.. But if you want to go in there you need two dollars.
