We went here at 8:30 pm on Friday and it was only about 20% full. By the time we left at 10:30 pm, it was definitely more busy (50%). This place is open until 1 am on Friday and Saturday. There aren't many venues open this late. We didn't order any food or drinks but it looks like you can order stuff while bowling. This was my first time here. It's a very nice bowling alley - compared the alley in San Rafael (no longer open). It's cleaner and more modern here. If you don't bowl, they a nice looking arcade. I like bowling occasionally and this was a good spot to go. I would come back here (not that there are any places to go around Marin County). I gave it 5 stars in comparison to other alleys that I've been too (San Rafael and Pacifica) read more

Great place to have a ton of fun!!! It's been a while since I've been here but the 'ol bowling alley got a nice refresh and it's still a great place to have fun with family & friends! It's now got a bunch of Bowlero branding and from the looks of it, they invested a lot into the place. The bowling is always awesome, there's pool tables for the sharks and potential sharks, a nice snack bar and bar. The arcade is pretty cool and they have decent selection of arcade games for the young and young at heart. What was really live about my last stop there is that the customer service was top notch. There was an older gentleman with a beard running up and down the lanes offering to bring stuff to the customers. I don't know if that's a regular thing but it was definitely a nice touch. Classic bowling alley vibes! This place used to be under different ownership, but AMF has taken over, and it still holds up as a solid spot. It's a fun place to hang out with friends on the weekends. The lanes do feel noticeably smaller than other bowling alleys I've been to, which might take some getting used to. Also, the kitchen closes earlier than expected so grab food while you can. Other than that it's a great spot for a casual night out! read more

Jeremy, the manager, was extremely rude to our party. After the first lane assigned to us malfunctioned, we were moved to another lane. Later, Jeremy approached our group and accused us of damaging the lane without any evidence. When we attempted to address our concerns and file a complaint about how we were being treated, we discovered that Jeremy himself was the manager. Rather than helping resolve the situation professionally, he argued with members of our party and made the experience very uncomfortable. We were disappointed by the lack of customer service and professionalism, especially after we had already experienced issues with the facility. We expected the situation to be handled respectfully and professionally, but unfortunately that was not the case. read more

Very clean and tidy bowling alley. They have a full arcade area, 6 pool tables, snack bar with all your favorites, and more. Our family went on a Sunday and played a game which was great considering they charge $8/ per game per player. Me and my 3 friends went bowling here and we were not explained to the pricing. All we told them was that we wanted one lane and no one explained the pricing or how it worked. We thought that after our time was up they would stop the lane, so we kept playing thinking that someone would stop us. After playing a while we decided to go talk to the staff about when our time would be up. They told us that our tab was at $215. We tried to explain to them that it is unfair because no one explained the pricing. The absolute gargantuan meatball of a manager tried to tell us that we were shit out of luck and had to just pay and that it was our fault. We told them we didn't have enough money because we weren't expecting to pay that much and that it was wrong and the manager talked with extreme disrespect and sas as she told us we could've looked online for the information. Luckily Zee and one other male worker hooked us up and only charged us $127. Those too workers were extremely considerate and were nervous to give us a discount because they said their manager had already given them a ton of shit earlier that day. Horrible experience and that manager is top 10 worst people I've ever met. Don't go here unless you want to get financially molested by the manager. read more

Came here to bowl and left wondering why Christina even works in customer service. From the moment we walked up to the counter, she acted like helping customers was a huge inconvenience. No greeting, lots of eye-rolling, and a tone that made it seem like we were bothering her by asking basic questions. Bowling alleys are supposed to be fun. Dealing with her was not. We came in afternoon on Father's Day. The front disk helped us to put 2 bowling bow bowling lanes together, so 8 of us could bowl together. The wait for the front desk was short, and got our shoes quickly. We had small issue about the light being turn off by accident, but were fixed quickly. The manager Christina has been there for years , as long as I can remember : ) . She helped us in this celebration and made everybody feeling welcomed. Such a great idea to bring daddies here for Father's Day celebration! The new seatings were very clean. It was way better than the old hard bench chair. We love the new booth seats! I have been taking my children here since they were toddlers. Every year, they always provide great promotion in summer. Have been sitting here for over 2 hours I get it raining weekend But when you check in for a lane at 1pm they say on hour it's now going on 90 minutes. When to the desk and she said another 30 minutes actually said check with the alley 15 minutes up the road. So August 2025 our family decided to go bowling. The worst mistake we ever made was going to AMF in Petaluma after it being 95° today. Their air conditioning did not work so our bowling experience was not very pleasant, as well as other people complaining how hot it was. read more

As a longtime league bowler, I've been coming to these lanes for over a decade. And although there have been many changes over the years, I have to say that I really enjoy the current configuration under Bowlero! The alleys are always in great shape for league bowling, and the few times I've come in for practice the staff has been able to set me up 'league style' which is really great! Everyone here has always been super nice, and there are some unbelievable deals every day on pizza and a pitcher (either soda or beer). The only downside is the lack of a pro shop, but since the lanes in Rohnert Park are also Bowlero now, I can use the pro shop there and take practice games there using my league credits! I always loved bowling as a kid, hopefully more people will come back to this sport for the fun of it! read more

My kid got sick and we had to cancel our reservation. Instead of doing the right thing and simply refunding the money they REFUSED. These guys are CROOKS and not a place that anyone needs to support or go to. It's a basic expectation to assume if you to cancel they would offer a refund. This place went through a renovation with new lane seating, scoring system,updated restrooms and front desk. The staff is friendly and is helpful. The building is old but once inside it is modern. They usually have a dark side where the lanes are lit by black light and a light side. There is shortage of house balls so if you find one that works then you will be fine. If not, you may have to walk the place to find one. read more

I first started going to this bowling alley while in college because bowling while eating a basket of onion rings topped with French's mustard was still so Americana. I believe it still is. My parents started me bowling at a young age. They were in adult leagues while I was in youth leagues. Bowling, and frisbee, was popular while I was on Active Duty. Recently I had my usual rollicking good time here. The attitude you bring with you makes all the difference in the experience. The wait staff was warm, friendly, welcoming, organized, helpful, professional, advised us of all the current specials, adequate for all our bowling needs, and adequate at preparing our drinks and food and serving us. The place was clean. The ages here ranged from infant to 100. While we were there a couple of happy parties were being celebrated. This alley reminded me of the scene in the 1998 Pleasantville film when Big Bob says, "Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley." Anthropologists have dated versions of the game of bowling back to has been traced back to ancient Egyptian time, around 5,000 BC. The game we now play, sometimes known as "candlestick bowling," is be traced to 1880 in Massachusetts. In Petaluma, California bowling started in the 1930s. In 1959, John Croci opened Boulevard Bowl at 1100 Petaluma Blvd. S., where the bowling alley still sits today, albeit with a slightly different name. It was a very popular family fun center that also appealed to semi-professional leagues. Went for the Wednesday unlimited games for $16.89 around 9 pm I called ahead but had a hard time reaching them but they finally picked up. Try to reserve a lane online because they have league bowling nights the same day which is unfortunate because then there is less lanes. I recently booked a private party for my partner's birthday. last year we reserved at another bowling alley in Sonoma County because it was slightly cheaper, however I found that booking at AMF Petaluma was worth the price difference! The staff is very friendly and accommodating and helped to elevate our experience. The Manager on Duty (11.4 PM) took the time to check on us which was greatly appreciated! We ordered snacks and our food came out fast and hot! I also loved how they had projectors above each lane with college football on! Wow... I haven't been to the bowling alley here in Petaluma for many years. Went bowling with my better half last night and couldn't believe how impressive the place has become. From great service checking in to an easy set up on the lane machine. We bowled for a few frames and then enjoyed a few games of 8 Ball. The people were amazing and welcoming and the place is much cleaner than it was the last time I was there. The team left me feeling appreciated and welcomed. Went to bowl, ended up doing everything else because to play one game of bowling with one adult and two kids would have cost around $50. Seems really expensive for bowling. There were many lanes - and most were not being used. The arcade was fun for the kids and pool tables were reasonably priced but falling apart. Had to wait 15 minutes for drinks.
