My main disappointment the food is overpriced. The pasta dishes were pretty good, but not nearly $30 worth. The pizza crust is kinda doughy, which makes it feel heavier than expected... and also like it should cost less. I think if I'd dined in, the atmosphere would have pushed it up a bit, but on its own we were surprised by the bill.

This is an order at the counter establishment of which I do not care for, especially if it's pricey (which it was). We started off with the house salad for 7.50/ea and totally not worth it (just some lettuce tomatoes and dressing with a piece of bread). 2 of us had pizzas 1 a calzone and another pasta. Pizzas were ok, but a good size for one big appetite or to share otherwise. The calzone was HUGE but my friend did not care for it (vegetarian) as she said it had too much goat cheese and lacked flavor. My friend's pasta was just average. With a bottle of cab and 2 soft drinks, the price came to a pricey 120 bucks before tip (the servers do deliver your food and drinks to the table). Would I come back here? Probably not. Made our first and last visit to Oshia's tonight…read more... My nephew was in town visiting so we decided to order pizza. (I voted for Il Vicinino, but my husband had heard Oshia's was good.) We ordered a Margherita pizza, wings & a Greek Garden Salad. When I arrived to pick up the order the pizza was done and sitting on the counter in a box. I waited about five minutes for the wings to come out of the oven, and then a few more for the salad to be assembled. Got home (maybe 3 minutes away) & realized the pizza was cold so I put it in the oven for 20 minutes. When I put the pizza on the table my husband & nephew pointed out that there was no basil on it & just a skimpy smattering of mozzarella. (The menu says it has basil.) So. I called Oshia's & told them the pizza was cold & missing the basil. While the guy on the phone was nice enough I think maybe he was a little too stoned to say anything but, "Uhhhh. Sorry." (I'm all about weed, but really?) I kind of expected him to offer another pizza made correctly. Silly me. So we sprinkled dried basil on it & laughed about what a lame place Oshia's is. The wings? Average. The salad? Good. The place was better when Pete owned it. We won't be back. Next time we order pizza? Il Vicino. We learned our lesson.

The location is a little odd for the dining scene in Santa Fe, it's not in the heart of town but in Midtown,out by the university. The restaurant itself is gorgeous! Very modern, very clean with a beautiful new built-in wood-fired oven. Considering the restaurant is brand new, the staff are amazingly well trained. Everything worked perfectly! Service was fast and very friendly. The pizza I've had at their mobile location at the El Rey Court was always excellent, but the pizza at the new restaurant is exceptionally better! This is clearly the best pizza restaurant in all of Santa Fe! One further note, they have a full liquor license serving both cocktails, as well as wine and beer.

It does get pretty busy, so if you are with a large group, you may not find a place for everyone to sit. Probably 1-3 people would be ideal. Overall, ok place. The pizza is freshly made to order and had some variety. I had the NM White which I thought was ok. Next time, I would probably want to try something else though. I also wished they sell pizzas by slices, too so I could actually try more than just one or two variations (but I believe they solely sell them by whole).
