It was my pug's 6th birthday, so I decided to treat him with a grooming session to pamper him a little on his special day. The grooming itself was good, he came out clean and well-trimmed. The same person who groomed my pug was the one who charged me. When I paid in cash and she did not return any change. I normally set aside the tip separately to give it directly to the person who attended my dog, but since I didn't receive my change back, I wasn't able to leave a tip. It felt like she had given herself the tip, which made me uncomfortable and left a bad impression. I hope it was just an honest oversight. Overall it was a decent first experience with the grooming.

Over the last year, my dog who was 18 and would get nervous at the groomers...was spoiled by their staff! They kept him up front in his carrier, so he didn't have to go into a kennel. For his last grooming, I didn't get a chance to change out his blanket, we were only in town for 1.5 days. They called to ask if they could wash his blanket before putting him back in his carrier! She called in the morning to say we could bring her earlier if we wanted to since she had a cancellation, which worked out great for us. She was groomed from about 9:30-12:30 so she really took her time with her. Nova is a little skittish during grooming and it takes someone with experience and great patience to be able to succeed. ;) She was very sweet with Nova from the beginning and by the end Nova seemed to like her which is amazing on its own. The cost seemed very reasonable at around $150 after tip with the first time discount, so that was a bonus since I didn't know about the $15 off for first timers. Thank you Bri for giving Nova a fresh look for her birthday. :) She will be back!
