I've been taking my pup Brady to Puppy Haven (Brookhaven) for almost three years now. He absolutely loves it and I do as well because when I pick him up at the end of the day he is happy and exhausted. The staff at PH are very friendly and have always taken great care of my pup. PH is also great because they do have an outside area for dogs to play and pools to lay in during the hot summer days - both rare for daycares inside the perimeter. I moved out of Brookhaven about a year ago to Midtown, and I still drive Brady up to PH since it is the best daycare that I've found in ATL and it's the one the pup clearly gets the most excited to go to. read more

Puppy Haven is a great place to take your dog for daycare or boarding. You can drop your dog off and know they'll be happy there. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and really get to know your dog. I have no worries knowing my dog is going to have a good day at the well maintained facilities, playing outside, splashing in the pools, or resting inside. There is always someone watching them and I enjoy peeking in on the webcams to see what my dog is doing. I've recommended Puppy Haven to several friends and will continue to do so! read more

Puppy Haven is just that, a total paradise for pups that checks all the boxes: -Caring staff who seem to genuinely love dogs and are always friendly. I appreciate that they know our dog's name and seem to be invested in her happiness -Hours that work for those that work! Their hours are a lifesaver for our busy family and mean that we can drop Que (our mini labradoodle) off early in the morning at 7:00am and pick her up at 7:00pm, giving us plenty of time if we are coming home from out of town or want to grab dinner before we pick her up -Webcams that show the playrooms, for those of us that are obsessed with our fur babies and need to see them mid-day! -Separate rooms for small and large dogs to help ensure dogs are only playing with others that are similar in size. They also do a temperament test on your dog's first day to help make sure they are a good fit for Puppy Haven. This is reassuring as a dog owner because you feel comfortable sending your own pup for daycare, knowing that the other dogs have been vetted. We have never had any issues with Que getting hurt/attacked/picked on by other dogs. They also have staff in the rooms with the dogs that are watching and making sure all the dogs play well together. -They are active on social media and we are always tickled to see Que on their Instagram page! Let's put it this way - Que has actually learned the days of the week (we send her every Tuesday and Thursday for daycare). The mornings that she goes to daycare she will actually wait at the door and gets SO impatient if we don't move fast enough to get her into the car. When I pull into Puppy Haven, Que will start SINGING and dancing around in her seat. She is only 30 pounds but somehow turns into the incredible hulk when I open the car door because she wants to get inside as quickly as possible. It's a beautiful thing to see her so excited for daycare, every time we drop her off. read more

My doggo is a pit/boxer/heinz 57 mix about 50lbs of love. He is 2 1/2 and has energy he needs to get out while im at work. Therefore, I looked at Puppy Haven. They make you do flu shots prior and s temperament test. No biggie. My dog's results came back as expected, 5 stars, friendly, loves belly rubs. I then pursue to drop $450 for a pack of daycare sessions. The First day, i get a call at lunch, "hi um you need to pick you dog up, he has been permenently dismissed." I replied "for what?" "he snapped at a trainer and bit his arm." I replied "No way, Are you sure its my dog?! He has never shown one sign of aggression in his life." She also replied, "He was also running, we dont like dogs running due to pack behavior." Weird but Ok?? Mind you, We have children and cookouts with other families and their doggos regularly. Never once had a issue with him. This seemed fishy. I asked "May I speak to the person that was bit? Also, can you please show me on camera? If my dog did this, I need to see it because i know he wouldn't. They wouldnt let me speak to the person nor had camera footage.. The owner called me to apologize for improper communication and the mistaken incident by the team. She ultimately asked for the opportunity to earn our business back. I appreciated her reevaluation. But at that point, I didn't trust my dog/baby in their care. I got a refund and took my doggo to BARK & BOARD!! 3 weeks in at B&B and nothing short of excellent experiences and the staff greets my dog and me on a first name basis. I watch the cameras and its belly rubs and attention all day for my doggo. They even have snack time and kiddy pools for hot days outside. read more

Our rescue pup Piper loves spending time at Puppy Haven! She was a little nervous her first visit but now day care days are her favorite days of the week. Piper has an activity tracker on her collar and she is always setting a new activity time record when she is at Puppy Haven - has clearly gotten over her shyness and found some good dog friends to run around and wrestle with. The camera's inside are also great, so funny to watch all the dogs run around. The workers do a really good job of letting the dogs play while also making sure they don't go too hard - which Piper can definitely be one of those dogs that needs a reminder to relax a little bit sometimes ha :) read more

The location is well off the beaten path in a primarily residential area just off of Peachtree. My dog has been there 4x already (COVID-19 slowed down the visits for a bit), and he will practically lunge at the front door when we get there. He loves this place!!! Pilsner is best described as a 4-yr-old puppy, a rescue who was found as a stray. He had no real dog manners or socialization, but he is very friendly and wants to play with everyone, dogs and people. But his high energy can make him a handful. Doggy Day Care was a good option to let him expend some of that energy. Please be advised that your pup will need up to date shots. But this is standard. In the shelter Pilsner had contracted kennel cough, which takes about 2 weeks to run its course. From what I was told at the time of his adoption this is common with about 90% of their dogs, since it is highly contagious. You will need to provide proof of shots/health from your vet, which is pretty standard. They take excellent care of him, and he gets along well with other dogs. And the webcams provide good viewing of the areas so that you can check up on your pup. I was worried about his interaction with the other dogs, but they do offer a free evaluation visit as most other places do, and even give you a report card of his first visit. His first visit went so well that I immediately purchased a package of 10 visits. I am very happy with Puppy Haven. Pilsner goes again this Friday! read more

The staff are all amazing, they know you by name and welcome you in every time. They post pictures like this one throughout the day on social media and have live streaming cameras so you can check in. The most amazing person has to be Melesha! Iv never boarded my dogs however , they have a dog groomer name Melesha there who is absolutely the best. One of my dogs is a bit much but she is the only groomer that has the patience to tend to him . Also , there is a guy there with a pony tail with glasses that helped me in my last visit . My dog got sick in my car and it was literally pouring down raining . The guy was outside in the rain tending to my other dog and offered to help me . Thanks again to him !
