Although his most favorite place is at home with his people, when we drop him off for daycare (to avid the cleaning people who are scared of dogs) he always happily runs to play with his friends and comes home with his tail wagging. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Puppy Haven! We have been going for about a year and a half and every single person there is so nice and caring! I am always greeted with a smile and they know my pup! I love that I can check in on my girl with their life feed cams! This place is amazing an the crew are super nice!! My dog was super happy when I pick her up after her first day. They gave me a report card and they even sent a letter to my dog. The staff is really sweet and they really take care of the dogs there. You can see them the whole day in the cameras playing with the dogs and checking on them. The only thing I found a bit inconvenient is that they asked me to get the influenza shot before taking her back here but as soon as I do that we will be back! read more

Highly recommend it! Also a great plus that the temperament test (1st visit to make sure your dog gets acclimated) is free! Puppy Haven in Brookhaven is hands down the best place to take your dog for daycare, grooming &/or boarding. The staff is welcoming, friendly and engaged. We take our French Bulldog Roddy twice a week and he has the best time! Every time we say "daycare" his ears perk up and he runs to the garage door to get in the car to go play. We love Puppy Haven. Started taking our girl there about a year ago on the recommendation of good friends who's dog also goes there, and we haven't looked back ever since. It may be just a liiiittle out of the way for us sometimes, but I'd gladly spend the extra time taking my furbaby to a place she's excited to go and where I feel comfortable with the people taking care of her. She literally knows when we turn into the driveway and starts getting SO excited, and she nearly pulls my arm off trying to get in the door! This makes me so happy... After what I felt was a les than satisfactory experience here, Laura the owner reached out to me and we spoke a few times about my experience. She could have just written it off as you can't satisfy everyone but she showed me that she truly wanted to make things right. Pet owners can be very protective of our pets and she showed genuine concern and invited me and my dog back again. I took her up on her offer and I am glad I did. She really seems to care about the dogs in her care. Laura showed me that she is a great business person who not only wants to run a successful business but also be a part of the community. I've been using Puppy Haven for over a year and I'm incredibly comfortable trusting them with my dog for daycare and boarding. They're extremely responsive and on top of vaccination paperwork. They have fairly low turnover in staff, so they know both my dog and me by name, which goes a long way in creating trust and safety. We've been taking our 4 year old dog, Bentley, here since she was a puppy. We couldn't be happier with the experience we've had at Puppy Haven this far. The staff is always friendly and knows us by name. We have Bentley set up to go twice weekly, and she is at the door excited and ready to go on the days she goes to "day care". They also have a great grooming service that we like to use at least once a month and for a great price compared to other local groomers. My experience with Puppy Haven was definitely 5 stars! My 2 pups and I had to evacuate Savannah for Hurricane Dorian and they welcomed us with open arms. My pups got right in for a temperament test and they even got to board there. All the staff were so nice and courteous. I really enjoyed being able to watch my pups on the cameras and loved all the FB/Instagram posts of my babies. When I picked them up, they were wore out from playing, had report cards, and were even given Puppy Haven swag to take home. They really went out of their way to lighten the load of stress on me during that time. I am so grateful for that. I LOVE Puppy Haven. My goldendoodle is a mamma's boy -- he has to follow me every where I go and will have a fit if I'm not in his sight. This is the ONLY place that he gets so excited to go and is okay with me leaving him. When I tell him in the morning, "you get to go to daycare today!" he gets so excited, and he is always excited to see the staff and they are excited to see him. I'm so thankful to have a place like Puppy Haven where I know that my baby is loved and cared for when I'm at work, and he doesn't have to be home alone. Puppy haven is the best dog daycare in Atlanta! I have tried 3 other day cares in the city and Puppy Haven has made #1 on my list. The staff is super friendly and always caring! They even sent me a card in the mail when my dog was sick. The customer service and environment here for dogs is the best I have experienced. My dog always comes home exhausted and I know that my dog is in great hands when I drop her off. Their prices are very competitive with other places in Atlanta but they always offer promotions for packages during the holidays which is a great way to stock up. I also love how much Puppy Haven gives back to their local community and has booths at events frequently to support animals. read more

This is the best doggy daycare/boarding establishment that I have used in all of Atlanta. The staff is competent and caring which provides a level of comfort to owners that their dogs are in good hands. They are diligent about making sure all dogs are up to date with vaccines and even send you reminders via email when your dog's are about to expire. My only criticism would be they need to bring back the 50 day package which offered the best discount for frequent users. read more

If you don't watch the webcams, you should. There is at least one abusive/aggressive worker who uses her feet and legs to push dogs away, constantly spraying them in the face, when they seek a little attention or affection. I have watched this female worker on the webcams a couple of times, and EVERY SINGLE TIME she is abusive. I've complained to management about her, but they haven't done anything other than move the camera angle after I called. Not sure how they justify this behavior, but when you pay for your dog to be taken care of, you're not expecting boot camp training. Just some love and attention for your dog. Go elsewhere. Update-Oct 2017- I talked to one of the owners and it was clear she was distraught over my review and the possibility of any negative behaviors towards the dogs at Puppy Haven. She takes my complaint very seriously and assured me that employee training was being reviewed and the situation being discussed and remedied. There are apparently some last resort training techniques that she explained to me and possibly these need to be reviewed with some of the staff. She took full responsibility and very clearly cares very much about the wellbeing of the animals. While I no longer bring my dog to PH, the manager did refund all of a daycare package I had bought and had already used a little more than half of. I encourage everyone to consistently monitor the cams to see how your dog is being treated. I trust that the manager will be monitoring the situation and try to make it better. read more

We have been taking our dog Riley to Puppy Haven since it first opened and he loves it! We also have started using their new Chastain location and it is just as good. The staff is the best and always goes out of their way to accommodate to provide excellent customer service. I can't thank them enough how they were able to help us out this Thanksgiving when our newborn baby decided to unexpectedly arrive 5 weeks early. I know it is one of their busiest times of the year, but they were able to let us drop Riley off last minute the day after Thanksgiving. They made it as easy possible on us, which gave us comfort that our pup was being taken care of. Again, thank you thank you thank you!! read more

However, Laura took the time to call me not once but twice to try and smooth things over. I understand the need for strict rules but this owner seems to realize that how you say something more important than what you say. To me that makes all the difference in the world. I like the webcams and the somewhat friendly staff. However, a couple of the workers are defensive and have attitudes. How can this be when you are being paid to care for someone's pet? If there are owner concerns, staff should also be concerned or at least act concerned and be open to listening instead of trying to make light of it and being defensive. Our 11 month-old toy golden doodle puppy visited puppy haven for her first time this week! We were very impressed with the faculty and the kindness the staff showed towards our dog. Finally found a place that doesn't treat my dogs like a four-legged paycheck. Maggie and Misha have been boarded several times and I've got nothing but compliments for their professional and courteous staff. I feel like each time I go back, they've added some new piece of equipment for them to play on. Glad to see they're committed to providing a fun and safe experience without the usual price hiking. My dog never fails to have the best time while staying at PuppyHaven! She is exhausted after which lets me knows how hard and long she played during her stay. The workers are even better. My pup went to Puppy Haven once, and he was completely exhausted and slept all night after a full day of daycare. It was nice being able to see him on the cameras that they have throughout the day, and that staff was very loving to my dog! The only think is that day we went he was so scared because he is a tiny dog, and there were dogs double his size. He tended to hide under the objects that they had inside the daycare. Love love love! I take my 5 month old puppy 2x a week and he comes home calm and exhausted. They have 3 doggy cameras so you can see your puppy all day long. It's pretty addicting.
