    a person's feet on a tile floor

The floor is so greasy you will slip if you're not careful. Ordered a bowl of pozole soup... 14 dollars later... and 20 minutes later... still no soup. I will not recommend, nor will I return.

    Huarache oil.

Not the worse but definitely not the best. My mom ordered a huarache and it was dripping oil. The food was okay but I ordered an order of hard tacos and I bit a piece tasted of pure salt. There isn't a lot of flavor and customers were coming in without masks. Overall not a place I would recommend or go back to.

Husband and I haven't been to señor taco since they first open up. We wanted to give them a try again. The food was better then last time I can remember and the customer service was awesome. Good atmosphere and good food. We'll be back.

Wet Carne Asada Burrito green sauce. Arrived hot and in just a few minutes. Little spicy for the average person but perfect for me.

I was recommended this establishment from a coworker and I have to say he was correct. I love the food here. I have only tried the chile Verde and the wet carne asada burrito with green sauce. Both were awesome. Food did not take long to get to my table and was pipping hot when it arrived. Friendly staff, and clean establishment. Portions are big too. My friend made the mistake of ordering 2 sopes. Will definitely come back. I recommend the chile Verde plate.

Chilaquiles with green sauce super Spicy, with cabbage added, radish, avacado, over easy eggs, and some carne' mmmm
    Shannon S.

Chilaquiles was great super spicy, only thing I didn't like was my beans were cold. Food came out in 15 minutes but it was busy this Sunday. I added cabbage and radish to mine and it was sooo good! Plan for it to be spicy tho! They do offer chilaquiles in red and green.

    Awesome shrimp sope

WOW. I was in town visiting family today and stopped here for lunch. I grew up in Orcutt, so I've…read moreknown the Swiss for years, but today's meal reminded me exactly why it's such a local institution. The oak grilled open faced rib-eye sandwich was absolutely incredible. I'm not exaggerating when I say it had more flavor than Wolfgang Puck's CUT. The rib-eye was perfectly cooked to the medium temperature I requested, tender enough to bite through without a knife, and seasoned exactly the way Santa Maria style beef should be. So many places are too conservative with the seasoning these days, but they got it just right. Even the bread underneath the steak was perfect. It didn't even need salsa, but of course I tried it both ways. Honestly? I couldn't decide which I liked better because the sandwich was outstanding on its own. We also ordered the linguiça appetizer with garlic bread. The linguiça had that slight char from the grill that gives it so much flavor, and the mustard served alongside it was the perfect pairing. My mom ordered the prime rib sandwich with grilled onions and chose the 50/50 fries and grilled onions. The only minor criticism I have is that it wasn't quite a true 50/50 and could have used a few more grilled onions. Other than that, it was delicious. The pinquito beans have a little kick, so if you're sensitive to spice, keep that in mind. Personally, I wouldn't change a thing. The whole meal took me right back to growing up in the Santa Maria Valley cruising Broadway on Saturday while the entire town smelled like oak fired Santa Maria barbecue. We cook a lot at home, and we're pretty serious about our beef, so eating steak at restaurants is usually disappointing because very few places compare. That's why I was so impressed today. This wasn't just a good sandwich.. it was one of the best rib-eye sandwiches I've ever had. To whoever was running the grill today: outstanding job. You absolutely nailed it. I'll be thinking about that sandwich for a long time.

We each ordered a filet mignon with a side plate. I ordered the chicken noodle soup for starters. It was delicious. I was off to a good start. However, my companions all ordered salads with blue cheese dressing. They each reported the salad was wilted and the dressing was terrible. Then the main course came with our sides, a little pot of salsa and a little pot of beans. The filets were very tender, it not well seasoned. Baked potatoes were fine, but the mixed veggies were tasteless. There may have been some kind of bread, but I don't remember. Service was fine. But waitress really made out. She didn't mention that the tip was already included in the bill. She readily accepted a substantial tip in addition to what was already on the bill. Bad food. Rip off spot!

Of course, we could not come close to finishing all the food and had to ask for our included ice cream to go. Lucky, we had a room in Santa Maria with a big fridge and freezer. After our vodka soda and food coma wore off, we enjoyed our malted crunch ice cream in our room and finished our meal the next day. The smokey flavor of the steak and chicken was amazing. It was tender, flavorful, and actually looked like it came from a cow instead of a lab experiment. The hashbrowns were crispy, well-cooked, and managed the rare feat of not doubling as a sponge for a gallon of fryer oil. The only hiccup was our server, who apparently had an active restraining order against our table. Drink refills and check-ins were few and far between.
