Ridiculously fast, smooth, and never skipped a beat. From start to finish, TJ was awesome to work with. From the beginning he gave me a price an said it would be the the most I would spend.. after he finished the car.. he calls an says it was gonna be more then expected.. when you try to contact him he'll give you the run around if he answers.. he avoids ppl a lot.. he's done it in my face.. he seems like a good guy he just get in this f everyone mode that's bad for business.. BEWARE Talal Obied, Otherwise know as "Two Face TJ" TJ is a known scammer and cannot be trusted. Do not make the same mistake I did and only listen to the positive reviews. Do your research beforehand not after. YES, Pure Performance is a real shop that does work on cars YES, There are happy customers of TJs that leave very positive reviews YES, TJ has a history of scamming people out of thousands of dollars YES, There is a Facebook group with hundreds of members to prove that TJ is notorious for not providing the services he promised. Just search "Talal Obeid TJ Pure Performance BMW corrections" on Facebook and see for yourself. If you live local and need a vinyl wrap you might get lucky and TJ will help you, but if you are out of state or expecting any shipment from TJ, chances are he will try to advantage of you and steal your money. I sent him the engine 19Sept2020 Engine is done 3November2020, I get the invoice of $5700 17Nov2020 paid on 19Nov2020, TJ tells me it shipped, never sends any proof of shipping and then goes off on vacation for 2 weeks and when he got back and he lies to my face and tells me R&L had lost the shipment (I call R&L, they did had record TJ receiving the engine when i sent it to him 19SEPT2020...BUT no record of anything coming to CT for the time in question before or after and all other shipments TJ had shipped are to different zipcodes) Fast Forward 2 months of lies I lose my patience waiting for TJ to deliver on any of his promises and make my own arrangements to get the engine to one of the other shops in the area that is very familiar with TJs scams After I make arrangements, I tried calling TJ to let him TJ know, he ignores my 2 calls....I dial minutes later from a Philadelphia area code (where i was working) and he picks up on the first ring, (He is purposely ignoring me) we have a brief convo to tell him the plan The day of pick up he texts me "Can your guy come after 5 or first thing in the morning ? I wana do a leak down test on this before it leaves" I reply "No" he replys "I was trying to avoid the headache but ok" (Apparently TJ writes jokes now too) Before the shipping company gets there I call TJ and he tells me because the engine isn't done and I need to sign a waiver saying I cant sue Pure Performance LLC (see picture attached) I had no intention of suing until he pull out the waiver, after talking with a few attorneys I decided the legal fees and the wasted months would not be worth the justice. I decide to sign the waiver and 2 days later my cousin drives down with a trailer, brings the engine to the new shop and they tell me that the engine was spray painted silver and many of the components were damaged with no sign of any work that TJ promised TJ will dispute this review he will probably claim that we never did business or that this is a fake review. and will then bury it under more glorious reviews saying how great TJ is. I would not be surprised if Two Face TJ writes some of the positive reviews himself under fake accounts Its my word against his, but I can do what he cant: provide proof. TJ is a Fraud, YES he does have good customers and good friends that he helps BUT he also scams people on the side. If you have fallen victim to TJs scams join the Facebook group, tell your story and there are people out there that can help you. Message to TJ: I'm impressed with how you are able to live with yourself, living a disgraceful life of lies must be a heavy burden. IMO your behavior is absolutely disgusting and criminal, you should refund the people you screwed over or spend a night in jail for every dollar you stole. read more

I have been dealing with the owner, Talal, for almost 2 months now. Extremely unreliable and irresponsible. I purchased and paid for a set of 343M wheels from him on Mar 24th 2020. That was a Tuesday, and he said they'd be shipped by Thursday. Cool, pretty fast, I'm happy. Come Thursday, he says they're scheduled for pickup. Nothing from him until I finally ask him again 2 weeks later on April 6th if they were picked up. He responds on the 8th saying no, drivers have been cancelling, he'll send me a BOL as soon as they're shipped. ANOTHER 2 weeks later (again, no updates from him) on the 29th I call him he claims they were shipped a week ago, and he'll email me the BOL. Call him again Friday because he hasn't emailed me my BOL, he confirms that he received my email requesting it and he'll get a coworker to email it to me by the end of the day. By now, you probably can guess what happened. No BOL was emailed to me still. Text him Saturday to complain and he says he'll "deal with it Monday" or I can just take a refund. At this point I have serious doubts about if he actually shipped the wheels or not, so I ask him what company he shipped with. No reply. I finally run out of patience with this guy the next day and just want my money back. Doesn't acknowledge me. I call him Monday asking him where is my money, he says I'll get it back end of day Monday. Yup, didn't happen. I call him Wednesday, and he FINALLY refunds me. Buying a set of wheels should NOT be this difficult. Every time Talal said he'd do something, he doesn't do it. Says he'll let me know when there's a BOL. Doesn't let me know. Says he'll email me the BOL. Never emails me the BOL. Says he''ll refund me. Finally refunds me after much stress and hassle on my side. A responsible business owner would try to keep their customers in the loop as to what is going on with something they paid for, but Talal is clearly not interested in that. I can't imagine how frustrating he is to work with when he has your whole car! read more

I bought my first m5 a while back it broke down and needed a new motor same day, took it to the dealer had a headache over 5 months the dealership didn't know what they was doing completely lost time and money over a year of headaches. Didn't know who to turn to until I stumbled across pure performance. I was so iffy about shipping my car out but after I seen videos and people vouching I couldn't have anything els to lose and contacted tj. He walked through on what he would do and how fast it could get done. I took the chance and said f it let's do it I sent out my car and he asked what I wanted done to it and he got the job done. Covid hit and times was hard and money and he was willing to work with me while I paid out of pocket and made sure the car was in good care.Not a single day passed by where I had doubts since he would keep in contact and send me pictures and videos of my car to give me updates on the build and what I had in my motor and what the new motor would look like after not starting for over a year.couldn't be any happier after just a week or two of being in his shop the car was driving on the road again, I was amazed because hehe worked with me to get it shipped back. don't trust these people!! i shipped my car there from florida--said a month to fix--2 1 1/2 months later they said i needed a turbo and a cataltyic converter--recommended removing them which is illegal--i told them i would get the catalytic converters put on the car back here in florida but put them in the trunk--they removed them and stole them--the car arrived here without them-he claimed they forgot and were going to ship them--going on months now without receiving them -now they will not take my calls or return texts--i'm hiring an attorney to get two new converters and going to court--don't trust these people--they are crooks--doesn't take much to do business the right way--i went to their bank and deposited money the same day they said the car was finished--paid them within hours--estimate was $10,000 paid almost $12000--too bad they cant have integrity and do the right thing read more

I talked to a few shops and ended up going to Pure Performance. Couldn't be happier with the results! TJ and his crew did a stage 2 DME tune and down pipes on my BMW M550i. What a huge difference!
