In addition you can not get a spin class unless you get up at 6 am and book. Now the other spin classes are not crowded ... Unmotivating. Cheap gym you get what you pay for. No one cares if you sit on a machine on your phone as others are waiting. Worst gym experience..

Also, the rim is pulled down on one side and the other side missing a net.. theres CONSTANTLY problems with the rims but they always take MONTHS to fix it. They dont care at all. Plus the kids who go there to play ball all think theyre the next MJ and got no respect. But the main thing that pisses me off is the dirty/dusty floor and the hoops always being messed up. If something does break down, it's fixed almost immediately, which is rare in most gyms. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful, greeting you with a smile and happy to assist if you need anything. But what really sets this gym apart is the cleanliness. For a Planet Fitness--or honestly, any gym--this place is incredibly clean. The staff is constantly walking around cleaning, wiping down machines, and organizing weights. That level of attention to detail really surprised me in the best way. They clearly take pride in keeping the facility looking great, and it shows. The format is perfect....getting settled to relaxing music, moving into simple cat/cow/down dog postures and working up to more complex and varied asanas, then a great ending meditation with candles. I found the owner, Maria, down to earth and welcoming; she made a really special space. The classes I've attended so far are a mix of people, (different ages and abilities) but it all "works". As a small business owner myself, I appreciate that she went the extra mile to provide everything for a class (mats, blocks, blankets, even water and hair elastics when I forget to bring one!) Definitely worth trying if you want to give yourself a relaxing experience.
