The food was good, they had a lot of options to choose from. I got the bacon cheddar chive scone and my fiancé got the turkey cranberry sandwich. Wasn't too busy when we went either.

This gem in the village of Whistler is so good and quite a vision of delights. I had no idea what to get so I got a little sweet and a little savory. We got scones, sticky buns, feta and spinach muffins and croissants. Everything is divine.

    Dessert extravaganza

Fantastic, friendly service, a shockingly gorgeous and varied cornucopia of desserts layered feet deep on the counter, and smooth coffee drinks made this the perfect end to our Whistler shopping day. Besides coffee, my husband ordered the salted caramel bar and I selected the blackberry lemon bar. His was fantastic I imagine, as he consumed it in less than one minute. Mine was worth savoring!

This chives cheddar bacon scones! MUST TRY!

Well we'll well, I didn't know there are 2 of them in Whistler. Found one in Function Junction and boy, love love love their yummy bread, scones, croissants...

Purebread is a cool little coffee shop and bakery that serves up coffee, espresso, and a wide range of baked goodies and sandwiches! We stopped in the first time one morning after breakfast for some caffeine. I ordered an iced Americano with room for cream. Drink was strong and delicious! Staff was awesome!

Ok you must must absolutely come to this place! We had to try so many of their pastries because everything looked amazing and delicious!!! The flavors are very unique and special. One that really stuck out for me was the peach and rosemary pastry, absolute perfection and flavors just dance in your mouth!!! The coffee was really good too and the people working here are very lovely. Sorry I didn't post pics of what we ate because they were too delicious looking to wait another second to eat them. Highly recommend this place!

So much to choose from. Not even close to trying them all

When I am driving back to Vancouver from Whistler it is nice to grab a coffee and some treats. Rather than going to the village I head down to the Purebread location in function junction. I can park right by the door and make a quick stop. Not quite a drive through but better treats than the Golden Arches and almost as convenient.

There's no better place to undo your hard day of skiing than at Purebread. Upon walking in, your nostrils will be assaulted by the scent of butter and warmth and fluffiness. This dangerous, toxic aroma will possibly compel you to acquire more than three types of cake, several scones, an entire loaf of bread, and countless samples. Am I saying this just because it happened to me? From the lack of table space between the hours of 3 and 5, I can confidently say there's an allure to these carbs in every variety that would lead even the most virtuous of Whole-30/paleo/gluten-free adherents into temptation. If you get one thing, get a scone. The perfectly crumbly apricot cherry vanilla is the clear winner. Ginger comes in second because it's a little tougher texture-wise, but those delectable ginger morsels are to die for. The vegan coconut tasted more like bread - I'd pass. The blueberry compote-topped scone was likewise uninspiring, and in contrast to the saccharine compote, the bread part tasted kind of like cardboard. Bar-wise, the chocolate chip brownie creation is somehow more decadent than the sum of its parts. The OMG is aptly named, and will dependably provoke this reaction in any diehard chocolate lover. The banana chocolate chip bar is oddly cold, and was just OK by my book, but my sister swore by it. There are some interesting flavors here. The chocolate rosemary (Adults Only) cookie has a very strong rosemary taste that I found very off-putting. Likewise, the lemon lavender loaf had a pretty strong taste of lavender, so you have to be chill with that. Still better than the lemon buttercream loaf, which had delicious icing, but was a little too cake-y/not moist enough for my liking. And because it's called PureBREAD (really, maybe it should be purecake?), we had to sample a loaf per day. The cranberry walnut was standout, as was the super seedy (and it felt *somewhat* wholesome eating it because pumpkin seeds are healthy, right?). The rosemary was delicious as well, but more run-of-the-mill. If you're craving savory, go for the jalapeno cheddar scone or this little egg muffin creation with bacon. The tomato pizzette creation was good, but there are better things to be had in this spread of infinite wonders. OK, I was wondering why I gained five pounds when I've been exercising all day, but I think I see the problem...

Great place tons of selection of pastries and many more! They had around 4 Gluten Free items, the one I had was some kind of rice crispy square on steroids, it had peanut butter, chocolate, marshmallows and rice crisps etc. It was great. The coffee tasted good and the place had a nice atmosphere. The only thing that didn't get it to the 5 star rating was the size of the place. It needs to be just a little bigger! A must try when in the village.

This bakery is the cutest! One of my favorite eats in Vancouver for sure! The sweet and savory goods were all so good! I got the OMG chocolate cake thing, which was amazing!!!! So good! The brownie was Delish as well. I also tried the grilled cheese with bacon jam and that was amazing as well! Must go to place in Vancouver! Staff was super friendly as well!

They sell crack! A bar of crack... and it's delicious and obviously addictive. The bacon jam toastie us like the best grilled cheese sandwhich. I wish they had soup. It would be so perfect. I also go the carrot cake, coconut cake, Nutella brioche and chocolate almond croissant. All were amazing. The coffee was not overly roasted and from stumptown. My friend got the pistachio zucchini cake, crack and spinach pastry which she raved about. Buckwheat cherry scone is apparently their most popular, but I didn't get that. ..sounds too "healthy". There's so much there it's really hard to chose. All about $3.50-5 each. Always a long line. Go in am for fresh and available items. Very nice and helpful staff.

I came to Whistler to go skiing this past week. While there I was on the hunt to find a place to carb up before hitting the slopes. This little bakery caught my eye while walking around Whistler Village. The aromas from the fresh baked bread and pastries were apparent right when you walk in. And the selections offered at Purebread are plentiful. To pair with the great bread/pastry selections were some great coffee and espresso options. I'm a huge mocha drinker and the mocha at Purebread does not disappoint. Got a mocha everyday I came in. In total I tried 4 different items during my trips here and can tell you, you can't go wrong with whatever choice you make. It's all good! This was only a three day ski trip, but I happened to go to Purebread all 3 days. While I was sad that my trip was over and I wouldn't be able to ski anymore, I was also sad that I wouldn't be able to enjoy Purbread anymore. This place is a must if you are on a trip to Whistler/Blackcomb. Can't wait to make it back myself!

I also tried the provisions breakfast sandwich with a crispy poached egg. It should come with a warning label because the yolk really pops and can create quite a mess. We also enjoyed a morning bun. Others have said they aren't traditional Aussie pies and I get that if that is your expectation. I always try to appreciate the cafe for their take on the food items. Peaked Pies didn't disappoint. It is a small spot with just a few tables outside and a few tables inside. The eatery gets pretty busy so we felt lucky to get a table inside. They have a lot of choices and we settled on the ones we wanted to try. I went with the veggie pie and added the mushy style peas, mashed potatoes and gravy to the top. Mr. B decided on the Kangaroo pie after talking to the staff. He was a little leary of where the Kangaroo came from, but we were told there is a farm in British Columbia that raises them, so he wanted to try something he had never had. Please see the note below about the kangaroo. There is a correction. The pies came out and were quite large, but we must have been hungry and they were scrumptious we finished them off. Let's start with the veggie pie. It was filled with veggies, carrots, potatoes, onion, corn, celery and yams. The sauce is a coconut milk based sauce and was creamy. The Hopper, with ground kangaroo was lovely. The pie is filled with ground kangaroo, and I mean ground, it was fine meat and stuffed full with a Cabernet Merlot Balsamic Reduction that balanced the sweetness of the meat. The service was great, the staff was nice, and helpful. Great choice. NOTE: I received a correction from the owner of Peaked Pies after posting this review. The Kangaroo is not sourced from British Columbia as we were told. While the food was excellent this was disappointing to hear. Mr. B specifically asked where the kangaroo was sourced as he didn't want frozen and would have ordered something else. I wanted to let you all know I was wrong as we were given inaccurate information from the staff.

We also wanted to try the kangaroo (The Hopper) and spinach & ricotta roll, but will need to return for those. The butter chicken and beef curry looked tempting, too. Extra hungry? Add a topping of mashed potatoes, mushed peas and gravy to your pie! Perfect spot to grab a warm meal after being out in the cold, or even just a quick bite while walking through the village. I guess my expectations were a little too high and my eyes ordered more than I should have. Ordered 2 cinnamon rolls and a long John. I was quite disappointed in both. The cinnamon rolls were quite dry and not enough ooey gooey cinnamon, butter and sugar filling. The frosting doesn't quite melt either. It was only when you got to the center was when the cinnamon rolls were soft with filling. The other parts are just dry and flavorless. The long John was also underwhelming. They used the same frosting as the cinnamon rolls inside the long John. I guess I'm used to more of a custard filling. Sadly, I'm still in search of a great cinnamon roll in Whistler.

Although they are famous for their cinnamon buns we opted to try their crêpes and got one each from their sweet and savoury options: "Breakfast" savory crepe which includes egg, Black Forest ham, mozzarella and balsamic glaze. I dunno but it was a bit too salty for my taste. "NSB" for the sweet crepe: Nutella, strawberry, banana, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Now this was yummy! They also offer sandwiches and waffles, croissants, vegan pecan bars, brownies and other sweet treats. The chocolate croissant was warm and delicious.
